Frustrante

Gostaria de realizar uma reclamação e restauração de alguns prejuízos causados sobre a minha hospedagem reservada aqui pela Booking.com. Fiquei hospedada no Jesrusalem Hostel durante 20 dias. Minha reserva estava confirmada com 9 meses de antecedência com direito a café da manhã, toalhas, aquecedor e ar condicionado, papel higiênico,secador de cabelo. Ou seja, um mínimo que o Hostel deveria proporcionar. Nesses 20 dias ficamos sem café da manhã e gastamos além do valor da reserva em média 100 (ILS) por dia (manhã) por conta dessa desavença, além de precisarmos comprar remédios,meias, moletons, blusas de frio porque não ligaram nenhum dia o aquecedor do estabelecimento e estava fazendo em média 6°graus na Cidade de Jerusalém, também não existiu nenhum serviço de quarto, o qual estava bem sujo, com toalhas rasgadas, faltando papel higiênico e muito menos uma boa comunicação conosco que somos hóspedes brasileiros. O nosso gasto em providenciar café da manhã, roupas de frio, toalhas e até papel higiênico foi muito além por conta do Hotel não nos proporcionar os elementos básicos. O valor da hospedagem foi representativo e realizei a reserva com muita antecedência para termos o mínimo necessário e a acomodação deixou extremamente a desejar. Era um direito nosso ter o café da manhã, toalhas, papel higiênico, aquecedor e foi violado pela incompetência da acomodação! Assim, solicito alguma reparação da acomodação por esse enorme transtorno em nossa viagem.

Charming old hostel with a good location.

Very good location. Take a room which is not on Jaffa Street because of the noise.

Small room for 4 persons, not a reading light besides the bed. Poor shower.

Value for money! Room with balcony, great location!

The hostel is located in the middle of Zion circle! Amazing location. We got a room with balcony (#6 - the same one Begin had in 1948). The rooftop is great! Staff are nice. Feels safe. Clean.

Price and location compensate for the feeling about the room which is not that pretty. Breakfasts are given with slight delay. At 8:30 often lot of people were waiting but nothing was ready yet. When traveling with kids the bunk bed was scary for them, as it is really high.

Renovation of all objects would be nice, but I bet that it would become much more expensive. At least on the roof the chairs and tables could be replaced. Once chair almost collapsed for me.

+ Location near bus/tramp station + Kind and helpfull all staff + Room with private bathroom + Several shops near hostel + Nice roof terrace + Good Breakfast + Possibility to leave luggage for some time + Nice area with short distance to old city

Lovely boutique hostel/ hotel, awesome stay.

Lovely boutique hotel/ hostel. We had our private room with balcony at the street side. So we could sit in the sun and have our view on the square. Good breakfast, lovely staff (gave us good advice).

The very small bathroom and the smell from the toilet, but it was okay and doable.

Perfect location

Right next to the tram stop to take you to the old town. Opposite Zion square with great atmosphere and plenty of food options. Didn't feel like a hostel.

Perfect stay, cozy hostel in great location

We had a great stay at Jerusalem hostel, we had a room for 4 with 1 double bed and one bunk bed and a beautiful balcony. Breakfast is served at the roof top and was delicious with pita bread, hummus, eggs, cucumber, tomatoes, jam, cereals. Location is close to the Old Town. Would definitely recommend staying there!

Very laid back hostel in a nice old former hotel. Close to the Old Town, near everything needed. Tram stops nearby. Nice roof terrace.

Well, value for money is relative looking at the extraordinarily high price level of hotels in Jerusalem. As a family with 4 children, it was ok, but still... Bathroom was tiny, breakfast starts only at 8:30. In the morning it was very loud because of delivery trucks outside.

Location is good

The breakfast is 8:30am -10am, it means no breakfast, nobody can wait for the breakfast, this is hostel’s intention trick the costumers,. The front desk is only 8 hours service, nobody in the weekend.

The noise of the street was really awful, it was impossible to sleep. The room was not that clean. But the location is great and the staff is nice.

Hostel on Jaffa Street

Great staff, very helpful with information. We had a private room with bathroom. Everything is old, but reasonably clean.

We had a room with window on Jaffa Street. It was incredibly loud till after midnight. Not ideal for a family.

Overall it was a good experience

Excellent location. Safe. Comfy. Organized. Free continental breakfast. Overall it was a great experience.

The way the staff wash the dishes is very gross. He doesn’t use soap at all! It’s ok to let the guests wash their own dishes but make sure there’s soap! You can’t wash the dishes without using soap. That’s gross and can spread virus.

WAY too hot overnight with heating set to 28 degrees by staff and zero ability to self control. need blockout blinds for flashing lights outside. need bleach in showers.

One Night in Jerusalem

If you're staying somewhere for a night or two and maximizing time out and about while exploring the cities you're visiting - this is a good fit. Especially for a large group - we had a room with 5 beds (1 full and 2 bunks). Location has an old charm to it. Breakfast was a nice little touch to get a free coffee and toast before heading out for the day.

Bathroom could be updated/renovated. Small shower. Could use more hooks for hanging towels/things.

Pleasant

The staff was very nice and it is perfectly located next to a tram stop. The breakfast on the rooftop is well too.

The room is on the street side with a square where many people meet. It is incredibly noisy with people shouting. Difficult to sleep.

Great location, but disappointing.

The hostel is in an amazing location, on a really buzzing square with trams and only about 10 mins walk to the Old Town. The hostel provided us with clean bed sheets and towels. there is a roof terrace overlooking the square for a lovely chill time.

We found some broken glass on the floor in our bedroom when we stepped on it and the whole bathroom flooded when we had a normal shower. the drain was just blocked and took ages for the water to go down. The breakfast was basic with the member of staff being always late and there weren’t enough plates, cups and cutlery for everyone. also the hostel would use some renovation in the kitchen area.
