Basic

Very basic refuge with hot shower and delicious food cooked by the host at request. It is located in Tamatert, a village 20-minute walk away from Imlil.

Could be cleaner.

Hassan was amazing. The hotel was clean centrally located. It was not too high, not too low, and the scenery was breathtaking. Would definitely come again, and I would definitely recommend it. Breakfast was 10/10. Tamatret guest house was more of a home than a hotel.

Very nice place with wonderful view and very nice host!

The guest house is really nice, I was supposed to stay 2 days but I stayed 10 days You need to walk from Imlil but it’s worth it, the place is calm, it’s the best view on the valley and the mountains and Hassan is a really nice host i recommend!

Basic but good. landscape was very nice. calm environment. staff were great.

cold water in the shower. (not hot enough). location is a bit far if you don't have a car.

stunning view but super lonely

The view is just stunning. Wow. I can‘t describe how much I liked it. Also the hostel itself was super beautiful the rooms are really nice and the terasse and lounges as well. The showers and toilets are super clean.

When I arrived nobody has been there and it felt a bit weird. So the hostel is pretty far away from Imlil itself, you need around half an hour to walk there. And there is not so much else. So you can’t buy any food around there and dinner costs 80 dirhams, what‘s pretty expensive I think. Still when I‘ve been there, noone else stayed there, so it was super lonely and a bit scary in the night.

A great place to stay

A great location in the mountains. Superb view, comfy beds, nice staff and an incredible area to explore. Wish I could of stayed longer

Superb

The owner was kind and always try to help. The place is very quiet and green. Blue sky, mountains and sheep. A nice place to chill if you are tired of the crowdedness in Marrakech. Also much cooler than Marrakech.

Beautiful mountain views

Beautiful views, friendly staff, strong Wi-Fi and very generous portions for dinner/breakfast :) Although Tamatert is a little far from Imlil, the owner Mohammed picked me up free of charge from Imlil which was very kind. I will definitely be back!

Its cheap if you're on a budget but maybe better off paying extra few $$ for another guest house.

The breakfast was good, the beds were comfortable and the location was ok.

The host was VERY pushy about committing to the additional lunch and dinner which was 100 MAD (10 euros) per meal and person. It was vert uncomfortable if we decided to go into town to eat, we were questioned and stared out when we left the accommodation. The accommodation was very quiet which was nice but after a couple days it would of been great to have other guest to chat too.

Nice setting to meet travelers from all over the world. Enjoyed visiting with and learning from all.

The views were breathtaking. Accommodations were comfortable to expectations for price. The guides were excellent. The house cook served timely, stomach warming, healthy meals each evening. This is an excellent location for serious trekkers to set up camp at in the Imlil area.

Chilly at times but plenty of blankets provided. No dryer soft towels but plenty of clean towels.

Views, very interesting fellow travelers and host, close contact with locals - great experiences.

The service was fantastic ! Hassan checked in with me frequently regarding my needs, kept the place clean, even woke in the middle of the morning and saved my clothes, that were drying on the terrace, from being blown away due to high winds. In addition, breakfast and meals were scheduled and good. Tea, sometimes accompanied by a snack, was offered daily. The view from Tamatert is stunning ! While in the process of waking, one frequently hears sheep and goats beating, roosters crowing and birdsong - great alarm clock ! Honestly, I give the place a 10 and Mohammad and Hassan 12s !

There is a big terrace with 300 degree mountain view. It's catching the sunshine from sunrise to sunset. The hotel is very spacious and the toilets and showers are very clean. Good hot water pressure. In general I found the standard in Tamterte much higher than in Imlil or Aroumd.

It was nothing which I didn't like.
