Definitely are wonderful stayover opportunity, the view, equipment, pool and a good walk to city

We arrived later then expected but keys could be taken out of a safe. Super!

The kitchen is very clean but could need one more pan to cook.

Superb

Lovely family who were very welcoming. The villa was nice and clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

Quite a few stairs but to be expected with the villa layout/location.

I would go there one more time, I'm really satisfied and I recommend it, quiet pictiresque area :)

Everything super clean, the host really nice. Views are gorgeous, I really recommend this place, I had a vacation of my life there 😍

Transportation can be a bit difficult, aprox 15 min on foot to the center, there are stairs although there is no pavement and the roads are quite narrow with many cars. But it wasn't a big problem, stairs are really fine :)

The view was amazing and the apartment was beautiful, the host was very helpful

I wish we researched a bit more about how far the apartment was, we definitely would’ve rented a car if we knew as the walk up is a bit far, about 30/40 min walk from the ferry port

Superb

3 of us stayed at this villa for 2 nights in June. We really enjoyed our stay. Summary below! Good: - Incredible mind blowing views! - Lovely balcony to sit and enjoy the views - Pool and loungers (shared) - Nicole was super helpful, responsive and easy to contact - Clean, modern and fresh - Good facilities and had everything we needed - villa had fridge freezer, microwave, oven, cooker, cutlery, crockery, spices/oils, coffee and tea, pots and pans, shampoo, body wash, towels, cleaning supplies, kettle, iron etc - Nice and spacious - Comfortable beds

Things to bear in mind: - Location! This villa is high in the mountains and is around a 10 minute drive and 20 minute very uphill difficult walk from Menaggio central/town. There are only 3-5 taxis in the whole of Menaggio and during busy times, it takes a long time calling each one of them and even then some sometimes you can’t get through. There is a bus so coming down from the villa in the morning (on weekdays and Saturdays) is ok but in the evening, going back up is tricky because the bus would stop at around 7pm. We would recommend this apartment if you have a car. - No AC - there is one fan available. We would be in the villa in the evenings when it had cooled down so this wasn’t much of an issue for us but I imagine it could be on hotter days. - There are stairs/steps to get into/out of the villa so difficult for those with accessibility needs - if you’d like less steps, ask Nicole to allow you to access the villa from the top rather than the bottom - No sofa for the whole group in the apartment - there are dining table chairs and a small settee/sofa which is not very comfortable and would only fit around 2 people - In one of the bedrooms, there are very thin curtains in the bedroom so you get a lot of light through in the mornings and it’s a little noisy which makes it difficult to sleep (the other bedroom is perfectly fine) Overall we really enjoyed our stay, the views were worth it! However we did struggle a bit with the location and getting back up to the villa in the evenings as it took a long time to find a taxi. Next time we’d look at hiring a car to make this easier. Disappointing

the view is perfect

there is a kitchen in the apartment, but there is no lighter, we have to buy it ourself. the heating system doesn’t work well, we asked the owner, she said the temperature was settled to 20 degree fixed. but it’s actually not 20 degrees. the floor heating in the night doesn’t work definitely. and the Wi-Fi is also not working. on the first day, it works, but the second day, it called, we asked the owner, she doesn’t answered us. in the mountain area the signal of Mobil is not always working, and even the Wi-Fi was shuttled down.

Great place, would definitely stay there again!

Truly spectacular views from the apartment, probably hard to find better! I would definitely recommend having a rental scooter or a car if you are staying there since it is far away from downtown and very uphill. We found out the hard way having to walk with our luggage, stroller and a 2 year old up there from the ferry port. Host was great and helpful and we had the best stay there, definitely recommend this place!

Like mentioned the beds made a lot of noise when you moved around.

Views over the lake were fantastic. Very clean and spacious. If you want to cook the kitchen has everything.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. It is a 15-20 minute walk down into Menaggio, but with a car obviously only a few minutes.

Room Size and other facilities was good. Host help to reach Vila with his car as we travelled by Bus

Rooms size and facilities are good. View from property is good

Location is away from main Area. Bed was not good. Reaching the Vila is very uncomfortable. You need climb 40 - 50 stairs to reach the Vila. Pool was closed. If you do not have Car do not go for it.

Exceptional

The apartment was very clean, we had everything we needed and the view was splendid. Our host was kind enough to lead us to the accommodation. We also went out for dinner and breakfast at their restaurant and bakery and everything was delicious. We will definitely come here again!

Enjoyed 10 days in July 21

Really very very very beautiful view on the lake and the surrounding mountains. Very friendly and helpful host👌. Thanks Maddalena for your support and the best table to see Forza Italia winning the EM 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹! Also thanks to your sister and family for support with the washing machine! Visit Maddalenas restaurant, nice people and good food!

The bed is okay but makes some noise, but we got used to it after a few days. During early morning hours the apartment gets a lot of noise from the near street mainly from trucks and motorcycles, but with closed windows we slept very well and long 😃

Clean Apartment with amazing view

The view is amazing and everything is new in the apartment. Perfect for a weekend break.

The bed with the view was very noisy and bathroom had a strange smell. Apart from these things it is a perfect place.

Deserve higher grading!

- We love the view! The property has an amazing view over the lake. Of course it comes with a price - quite some stairs before actually arriving in the accommodation so suggest to keep the luggage light. - Secured garage is also a big plus. - Interiors look relatively new (kitchen, bathroom and rooms)

- kitchen could be better equipped; currently at a bare minimum level - cleaning of the balcony could be improved - we had a bed sheet with several old stains - not a big deal but would have prefer a spotless one
