Great stay for families. Oceanview, but you still have some windows in bathroom and bedroom to the north side.

Nice location about 15 minutes outside of Vik! Very cozy. Nice host. Loved renting from a local family.

Maybe we weren’t sure how to do it right, but it would be cool to turn off the outside lights off to search for northern lights.

Nice and comfortable accommodation with perfect location, close to main road.

Very nice, new accommodation on very nice place, perfect location to explore ťthe South of Iceland. Very friendly host. Dolce Gusto coffee machine as a bonus. Recommended!

Perfect for 4 guests!

Perfect location: peaceful, relaxing, picturesque. Close to Vik. A day trip to Glacier Lagoon and back was very doable. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Cabin sleeps up to 5 guests, but with 5 people you won’t have room to put your suitcases anywhere.

Clean, warm & comfy!

We spent 2 nights here, arrived from Keflavik and day-tripped to Glacier Lagoon on day 2. Perfect location: peaceful, relaxing, picturesque. Cabin was warm, clean and comfortable.

Wonderful cottages near to Vik

Everything was great. the cottage looks better than the picture in booking.com. It was warm inside, coffee machine with a lot of capsules, tea and kitchen for light cooking. 2 of 5 cottages are in red colour. near to Vik

Personally I prefer harder bed. their beds are too soft and bouncy.

Wonderful host and very smooth booking and check in process. We booked last minute and the host exceeded all our needs and expectations. It was awesome staying and seeing the animals on the property.

fast response from owner requesting late check in make a call upon receiption cabin 2 serene location nearby farm and town well equipped basic kitchen cooking equipment and utensil ( oil salt and condiments) coffee machine (gusto dolce) bed is comfortable and bed sheets is clean bear in mind double bed is small heater working great house is warm and comfy shower is good the pressure was average and hot enough for a shower during winter. no shower gel and shampoo provided but not a big deal. tv channels are great too. internet wifi on average of 20-35mbps.

the floor is abit dirty with some food leftover few hairs found in toilet all these doesnt spoiled my stay overall i did enjoy my stay

The owner was nice and pleasant.

I didn't like the fact that we had to wait to meet the owner elsewhere rather than be given instructions on how to get to and enter the property. The entire porch was snowed in so we had no access to it.The pathway to the front door still had snow and was icy and slippery. The curtains were stained, probably dampness and some kitchen cupboard hadn't obviously been cleaned.

I would stay here again next time I’m in Iceland

Great location away from lights and we caught the aurora even tho the solar activity was only a 2! the house is roomy, nice, comfortable & well-equipped. the owner was very friendly!

In the middle of nowhere, cozy, clean and comfortable. Necessary equipment for having dinner/launch/breakfast. In case you are chasing the northern lights, if you are lucky enough this could be your spot for getting them without even moving.

Not the best responsiveness from hosts in Booking's chat.

Cozy cabin nestled between a mountain/glacier & sea. Saw the Northern Lights from porch!!

Cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin. Warm and cozy. We saw the Northern Lights standing right outside the cabin on 9/23/2022 about 11 PM!!!

Extra pillows would be nice and beds were small but comfortable. Host did not reach out or communicate prior to arrival so I was a bit nervous even though I tried via the booking link email and text to confirm our arrival. He did answer our call when we arrived and was on site within 5 minutes of our arrival. The closest town, Vik is 20 minutes away.

the windows were dirty which ruined the sunset and the outside porch light doesn’t shut Off … made the night sky less bright but overall didn’t disappoint

Great cottage to stop by on a road trip

Nice cozy cottage with privacy and nice mountain views. The host was also very friendly. Close to attractions such as plane wreck and skogafoss.

Very enjoyable place (we had 2 cottages).

The accommodations were great. The location and views were great, being near the coast.

If I remember correctly , we had to pay $10/person extra for linens and towels.

Excellent place to get to Black sand beach, basalt columns, Vik, amazing glaciar walk very near.

Very kind owner, help us and show us her farm, cows etc. Friendly and warm.
