Exceptional

The apartment was surprisingly large - akin to a large suite. Everything was sparklingly clean and it was very well appointed. The location was close to a wide selection of restaurants and shopping options. We easily found parking on the street nearby. It is free from 7pm to 9am and only 80 cent/hour during the day.

My wife would have liked a shower cap in the bathroom! That apart we had no complaints.

Excellent accommodation, very roomy, private and quiet.

Very close to downtown Braga. This place really is an apartment with a sleeping room, dining area and living room. Breakfast was available from a well stocked refrigerator, with meat ,cheese, fruit, various drinks, bread and coffee/tea.

My stay was excellent and I would love to return.

Breakfast was excellent and the location was also excellent. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay and it is located in the center of the city, which I enjoyed. I had a very good stay.

I was happy with everything. I cannot think of any negatives. It was overall a very positive experience for me and I would love to rebook again if I return to Braga. The Apartment is very spacious and modern.

Excellent location and a very pleasant, comfortable apartment - worth a visit!

The Tea 4 Nine guest house has a location in the city of Braga which is hard to top, sitting right on a main square and in walking distance of almost everything! We entered Braga by car and navigated to the address of the apartment. We didn’t know how parking was going to be arranged and discovered that managing it was a bit of a challenge. I left our car (parked semi-illegally) and walked to the entrance of the building and found a small note with a phone number to call regarding check-in. After calling, two very nice ladies came to greet me, immediately took me up to the apartment and gave me the keys. The owner spoke to me via one of the women’s cell phones and instructed me regarding the parking. I was handed two parking passes (a 3-day and a 1-day pass) for the underground parking garage located under the plaza directly adjacent to the building. You need the passes to enter and exit and they expire exactly n-days after the first entrance, in our case for example 3 days. All good. The €10 per day was debited to my credit card. Parking and check-in finally straightened out, we made it up to the apartment (named “Limão”) to get settled. The main living and dining area is a large, high-ceilinged bright and cheery room. It was very nicely appointed with modern, stylish furnishings (nothing to last for decades, but pleasant). The apartment has a full kitchen with modern appliances, small dining table and a separate bath and bedroom. NOTE: The “Tea 4 Nine Guest House and Bistro” no longer seems to have a Bistro associated with it, not even a breakfast room. In summary, we had a great time in Braga, stumbling into the huge multi-day city festival called “Noite Branca” (White Night)—with numerous live music venues, events and a majority of the people dressed in white flowing through the streets and enjoying themselves. Fantastic. We can recommend Tea 4 Nine not only due to its excellent location but also for the very pleasant and roomy apartment itself.

Not much to complain about but there are just a few points which could probably be improved upon. As there was no Bistro or breakfast area when we visited, the breakfast was provided in the form of a stocked refrigerator, a Nespresso machine and some coffee capsules. In general, this was fine but some of the staples required for our 4 breakfasts were not sufficient (butter, coffee, etc.), even for the second day, and I had to contact the owner to have some more stocked. The concept was fine for us, but it could be somewhat better organized.

We enjoyed our stay in Braga especially the visit to Bom Jesus do Monte and the Kartilho restaurant.

An OK property in a good location only a few minutes walk from many of the principal attractions. Being only 10 minutes walk from the station was a bonus for us. A fine view across the Agrolongo square but noisy from revellers on Saturday night. Many fine restaurants nearby.

Shortage of kitchen implements.

Awesome apartment in a lovely city, Braga

Great apartment, clean, spacious and with all amenities. The daily breakfast provided in the fridge (cold meats, cheese juices, etc) was very tasty. Parking was in the underground park right next door so very convenient. All in all, highly recommended.

Stay away , as far as possible from that guesthouse, why? - the owner want only your money but not the work - bad ( worst ever) management - the Linden room has a smell problem in the main bathroom - the Melissa room is pressed between 2 fan extractors , one from the restaurant left and on the rightside the airco from the guesthouse, the whole day bad noise in the room - the breakfast was every day the same - we left 2 days earlier as planned , she want pay back that difference, we toke steps to solve that - she has no respect for her clients, we had to move from room Linden to room Melissa , because the new cliënt was. as she wrote ..’ fat

This was a great place to stay and we would definitely stay there again.

The apartment was light, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. There was a powder room as well as the bathroom off the bedroom.

The bathroom had a glass wall. They keep it very clean but that makes it is hard to see and the doorway is on the far side of the wall from the bedroom. My husband kept hitting his head on the glass wall because he was a still sleepy when waking up during the night to go to the bathroom. It would be good if they made the presence of the wall obvious with some kind of design on it that would be visible in low light at night. People are sometimes groggy when they wake up during the night. I even walked into it in the day when I wasn't paying attention when I was talking to my husband and turned into the bathroom too soon.

Fantastic property and hospitality

A lovely flat, bright, spacious, very clean and comfortable right in the old town but also close to the bus and train stations. The breakfast was huge and delicious, with lots of fresh treats including cake, bacon, mango, wonderful homemade and great juice. Check in and out was very easy and they let us keep the flat on Sunday until 5pm. A lovely stay, highly recommended.

Excellent, comfortable apartment in a very convenient location

The apartment was large and clean, and very modern inside. I found the large bed particularly comfortable. It is in a very convenient location within the town centre close to the sights, restaurants and shops. I was in an apartment at the back of the building so it was very quiet too. The breakfast was delicious and there was a substantial amount of food, plus freshly squeezed orange juice and good coffee.

It is only a very minor point but I could at times smell drains a little from the ensuite bathroom.

Absolute Perfection!!

Wonderful communication, superb location close to everything, a modern and clean room with absolutely everything you need and extraordinary breakfast! This was one of the best places I have ever stayed in - EVER!! Everything has been thought through, everything has been provided and the view is amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and cannot think of anything bad to write about this place. Close to many restaurants, that you are completely spoilt for choice! The breakfast was absolutely amazing - everything you could want and more. Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou!!!

Huge apartment in the centre of town. All the facility’s that you need. Modern and clean. Fantastic breakfast.

Had to wait for the land lady to arrive and the lady in the shop next door had to ring as my phone wouldn’t connect from a Uk number. A bit irritating when you have just arrived and think someone would be there to greet you at a guest house
