My second visit and I will be back. I love this spot.
The most peaceful and beautiful location, the hot tub on the porch was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Cabin has everything you need and is super comfortable. It’s my second visit here and I highly recommend.
Nothing. It’s my favourite spot in Iceland

Very nice Icelandic cabin getaway
Really nice little cabin getaway. Seemingly newly renovated with a nice interior and all the basics you need. Wonderful to have the BBQ and easy to fill the hottub and spend hours relaxing.

Good accommodation next to the Fjord
Great location being outside of Akureyri and next to the Fjord. The hot tub outside on the decking was a great addition to the accommodation. Overall, the inside was very clean and comfy and a good place to stay if travelling in the area.
There were a few issues with accommodation, which meant a fee message to the owner to let them know things weren't working. 1. Outside light above, the hot tub wasn't working, so I had to make do with using a small torch I had brought to illuminate outside. 2. The cooker hob wasn't working and kept tripping out the main electrical breaker so we couldn't use the hob for cooking the food we brought. 3. The light in the living area in front of the sofa was very dim and actually didn't project much light. 4. The information booklet could do with instructions on how to use the cooker and also in the absence of the laundry bin, where to leave all the bedding, etc. All of the above are fixable but just created a bit of an experience whilst staying there.

Good
Location was fantastic, saw dolphins from the hot tub. Hot tub was also great after a swim in the fjord. Tv was a nice treat for a movie after a busy day.
The coffee machine was difficult to use (probably because im a tea drinker) The hob seemed to keep turning off so we used the 'back up' hob. Nothing that distracted from a fantastic stay.

Remote and spectacular
The atmosphere of the chalet, the proximity to the Atlantic ocean, the scenery, the responsiveness of the host.
Nothing to mention.
