It’s in Centre,

The way to rooms is via Restaurants.. feels odd if checking in late hours or go or come out from rooms, the same restaurant staff acts as reception, even being a restaurant hardly serves nice breakfast and all cold,

Great stay in this northern city - we loved this part of the country!

The room was really nice! Very walkable to many places around town as well.

The check in process was a little strange, we had to wait several minutes for people waiting for the bar/dining room to be seated. The street in front of the hotel was closed the day we got there, so it was also confusing to get there since we couldn't turn down the street in the directions given. Also, the kitchen closed a little early for us but the recommendation from a staff member for other dining options were excellent.

Very specious and clean room. Lot of utensils and there is even small kitchen in the hall so you can prepare yourself cup of tea or coffee. There is a fridge too so you can have your beer perfectly chilled. Super fast WiFi!

TV! So we had huge, probably 60" TV, which didn't have any TV channel. We tried to hook up our netflix and Apple TV but no luck. Really annoying since TV has option for this but apparently hotel management decided not to allow guests to use it.

Pretty decent comfortable hotel room, clean

the check in was done at the bar/restaurant which was busy during dinner time so we had to wait quite a bit the room closet looks run down

Exceptional

Located centrally on the main street in Akureyri, not a big town but it is still great to be staying right in the middle, a short walk from everywhere you'll be looking to visit! The room was - to my surprise - huge, with big windows that let lots of light in (and good curtains to keep it out at night), a really nice shower with shampoo and towels provided - and friendly staff on reception helping with check-in and check-out early in the morning! Felt like a 5 star stay, many thanks!

Terrible soundproofing in the room.

Terrible soundproofing in the room. You can hear the TV shown in the next room. My tv didn't even work, neither did the hair dryer. It was a Friday and the music was unbearably loud until midnight.

Supremely convenient and comfortable stay in Akureyri

Well furnished rooms with full kitchenette, well-situated in central Akureyri, patient staff that allowed us to move our reservation at no extra cost after a storm delayed our arrival, quiet, room service available from connected bar/cafe.
