A good stay

Clean comfy spacious welcoming, staff were great and the hotel was secure and worth the price

Few elements in disrepair such as the kitchen tap coffee pot a few sockets hanging off

Huge apartment with super beds

It is huge. It has a beautiful pool and well stocked gym.

Great but

It is a nice place with a nice bed. The bathroom is okay and plently of space. The gym and sauna are great. Not the Hamam which needed a deed deep clean. The restaurant is also good.

Again, the restaurant in front is so loud, almost hard to believe... ! The second appartment I got was less furnished than the first : no lamp for example and the shower was really low, not possible to wash your hair except if your hair are really short. It was the A51, I would then recommend the A53.

You can find better places for comparable prices.

Size - the apartment was spacious. Location - not too bad for a newly arrived traveller. Smart TV - was able to login to Netflix & Amazon Prime. Laundry basin was good for hand-washing.

Noisy bar/club directly across the road, until early hours of the morning. Showers - only 1 of 2 worked adequately. Kettle - heating element was filthy with scum. I had to scrub it. Fridge - was set too cold and froze the milk and other contents. Cleanliness - edges and corners of rooms were not swept properly. Pool - is a feature of the online advertising but doesn’t match photos. Foyer outside apartment - tiles were lifted leading to awkward crunching when walking to room. Kitchen door - poorly fitted, and scrapes/screeches against floor when closing Stove - nothing to light stove; doesn’t have automatic sparker.

Great value for money but close to a loud bar

Appreciated the daily laundry and cleaning service

The property is in proximity with a bar, which made it quite difficult to sleep. We had asked for an apartment where the noise could be avoided, and sometimes it blocked the noise but on two occasions the bar was so loud the noise still penetrated to where we were staying. The shower pressure was also insufficient/low.

Safe and pleasent place

The apartment was spacious with all you may need. Even additional towels in wardrobe. Place is safe and well maintained. Cleaning and even laundry every day. Nice balcony with view. Good WiFi. We use the gym - was OK. We were only four nights but it's nice even for longer stays.

There was a problem with check-in. I wrote the time of our arrival and they confirmed but the security wasn't informed. They asked for room number which we didn't know so they didn't let us in even we gave booking confirmation. We had to wait outside and contact the administration ourselves. We finally get a room, but it shouldn't look like this. A lot of stress at night after a long journey.

Very dissatisfactory due to extremely unprofessional customer service by Josphine and reception team

Location

APPALLING customer service by Josphine and the reception team at KenGen! Would not let my disabled mother check in at 10pm despite having confirmation of payment via booking.com. Claimed that payments made via booking.com were fraudulent, and they had not received payments made via booking.com in the past. Therefore had to make payment at their reception desk to permit my mother to check in. After a lengthy discussion with someone named Josephine, my mother was allowed into the property. I was informed I had to make the payment before her check out. It took another 2 days between having discussions with booking.com and the property, for them to accept that they would get their payment via the virtual credit card they had set up with booking.com. During this time neither Josphine or the reception team responded to any emails. Josphine claimed she was out of the office. No one else in the team responded in her absence. I did advise them that if they do not wish to accept virtual payments, then they should not advertise using booking.com or any other booking websites that allow customers to pay online for their bookings. Having to resolve the payment issues while not being physically present in Nairobi with my mother, made the whole experience extremely stressful. KenGen don't operate a 24/7 reception desk service and the person in charge Josphine never responded to emails and claimed to be out of the office, and no one was appointed to assist on her absence. I am still waiting for an apology from Josphine for the unnecessary distress she caused due to her apparent claims that the property did not accept virtual payments. However later they acknowledged to booking.com that they would take payment for my booking virtually from booking.com.

Home away from home!

This apartment is spacious and has everything you need.. the beds are comfy, kitchen is huge for cooking and hosting.. I loved having my coffee on the balcony. It is walking distance to westlands and CBD, there is a Naivas super close that has everything too. The staff are amazing and the place is very secure. The pool is very clean and the restaurant makes it easy for those days you don’t want to cook.

Perfect place in Nairobi

The apartment was spacious, beds are comfortable, kitchen is massive and gym/pool were really modern. The on-site restaurant had some cheaper options if you want to stay in and there is tons around the apartment to walk to.

We noticed lots of mosquitoes, there is also no air conditioning or fans.. which makes for a hot night..

Good apartment but no fans or coolers available.

Very nice and clean apartment.

There are no fans, coolers or A/C at the property. We requested a fan and were told it cannot be provided. It gets very hot during the day and without any fans it's hard to sleep in the nights. Also, we checked in during the weekend but were not given our own key till the day we have to check-out on Monday. Every time we had to get back into the apartment, we had to call the security guard to let us in.

We stayed only one night. Our apartment was with 2 bedrooms with bathrooms, shared kitchen and living room. All the rooms were big. The beds were comfortable. It was very clean in the apartment. The garden was really nice!

I didn't like that I indicated two people yet there was one towel but after a night n room service they brought some. On the site it was charging 14k and I also contacted the host n it was 14k, but on reaching the premises, I was shocked when I was told to pay 16095shs

Nice place

The staff were nice and quite helpful. The location was very good and serene, wasn't too far from the the malls. The rooms were also spacious. Overall it was a good stay.

The water pressure in the bathrooms were not so good. You'd have to turn on the water heater for about 10 mins before you need to use hot water. One of the toilets stopped flushing after a while. Overall it was a good stay. There were no fans or AC, although the weather wasn't too hot.

Spacious accommodations, reasonable price, clean pool, and quipped fitness center, free laundry service and daily cleaning… nice staff 😊

Shower water pressure was so low, no lighting in hallway corridors between elevator and room, bar across the street was so loud we had to move to back apartments, staff was not available to turn on saunas and would not allow free access when I needed to use, did not supply bathroom essentials ie toilet paper unless depended 😖

Nice apartment but requires service improvement

Very spacious, clean, nice big couch therefore comfortable. The back & front balconies, a nice apartment to say the least.

The tiny television is a total contrast to the apartment space, you can do better. No cable TV/ DSTV hence boring... We inquired and were told only a guest staying for a month can access DSTV! This is very basic and should be provided... stayed during world cup and had to use my home account on a laptop despite having a TV in the apartment.
