Just the View and architecture

No basic facilities like an oven/kitchen based, noise buffers are bad, dogs were on loose, not everyone would like that. HOST never replied to any of our queries regarding the stay

Gorgeous views!

This is more of an Airbnb style than hotel with self check in etc. not saying this is good or bad. The views here are stunning and the rooms are picture perfect. It’s an easy 8 minute drive to town. If you stay here Hiring a car is a must as Ubers are limited and an 8 minute drive is an hour walk. We would definitely stay here again.

There are 3 dogs on the property that have free run of the outside area. I love dog friendly properties they just caught me by surprise and two of them jumped on us with wet rainy paws right before dinner. Also the host sent a series of automated messages to check-in however I responded to one because we had a literal bird in our room and never received a response. The bird got out on its own with a mild concussion.

Beautiful spot to relax

Check-in was super easy. Sundays at Byron is an amazing place with modern furnishings and an incredible view. The huge windows could be opened so that we could enjoy being outdoors while in the comfort of the room or even from the bathtub. Would highly recommend for a relaxing getaway.

No service of room each day- no emptying of rubbish bins, no replenishment of toiletries or fresh towels.

+ The view was beyond amazing + The interiors of the room were very spacious and elegant + Hosts were accommodating, helpful and responsive

While the bath area is grand the toilet could have been a bit more spacious.

Exactly what we were after- a peaceful getaway

Exactly what we were after- a peaceful getaway. The check-in/check-out process was super easy. The room is set up perfectly for our style. Floor to ceiling glass sliding doors make the inside/outside transition seamless. The owners are completely unobtrusive. You don’t really see them at all. If you do cross paths, they’ll smile and say hello and if you’re open to it, they’ll have a chat. The view was magnificent. It’s magic to wake up every morning to a view of greenery followed by the ocean with the lighthouse on one side and sprawling beach stretching north. Probably my favourite part of the view was the birds. Many different types - including sea eagles and black cockatoos- and they fly right in front of you, at eye level because you’re so high. Having a bath while looking out at the tranquil view brings peace. Well worth the stay. You do have to drive everywhere you go- It’s too far to walk into town - but that suited us fine. If you go along the St Helens Rd, it’s full of potholes, so if you don’t have a ute or SUV just go around the other way. All the other roads are sealed and perfectly drivable. This was our second stay at Sundays at Byron. We won’t stay anywhere else when visiting Byron Bay and surrounds.

Ultimate relaxation in a beautiful Art Deco room with the most devine views, over all breathtaking

The location and view were dreamy, I didn’t want to leave the room! The bath tub and view from tub was also devine. Couldn’t have been better

Escape above the clouds

Incredible location that really is 10mins outside of Byron. The view is spectacular, it’s total luxury and escapism that leaves you feeling recharged, closer to nature and grateful for the experience ! If you are looking for the best view over Byron Bay and a place that’s quiet where you can watch the sun rise and sun set then here it is - getting booking 🙌🏻

Romantic!

Caryn was super helpful with her directions and always asked if there was anything she could do. The room was spectacular and the view was phenomenal. Caryn had thought of everything right down to the bath salts for the bath and even a welcome pack which included wine and snacks. The bed was super comfy and the bed sheets were so amazing we have looked them up online and are going to buy some. We had a lovely stay. Thank you Caryn!!
