We had due to construction work to change to another house. That had a lake view too and also a large deck - fantastic. We grilled every evening.

Wonderful house in a great location! It felt spacious and ready for even longer stays. The kitchen was very well equipped (we especially appreciated the dishwasher!) and could easily accommodate half a dozen people for dinner. The sauna worked great and was very welcome after a long day in the cold outdoors! We used the upstairs bedroom, which was simple but comfortable and had an amazing view in the morning looking out over the lake. The lounge area upstairs was a particularly comfortable spot for hanging out; we did not stay long enough to use the fireplace, but even as is it felt very cozy. The WiFi was excellent and we had good internet anywhere in the house. Coupled with the chromecast on the television in the lounge made it very easy to watch movies.

Some parts of the house show minor imperfections: for example, the bedroom door does not stay closed, there is a rusty pipe in the ceiling of the upstairs bathroom and the window in the downstairs bathroom does not have a privacy screen. Nothing that would make your stay less pleasant, but some work here and there could make it even better. There are many plants in the house, and one feels they would look even nicer if they were real. Of course, that may not be feasible in a rented property.
