Comfortable accommodations with cool AC and spacious court yard.

The kindness and friendliness of the entire staff is what makes this place especially memorable. the courtyard and open space creates a very european feel. the room was very comfortable and the AC cold Mini fridge was a nice touch.

no complaints - really enjoyed my time there.

Superb

The staff are very attentive and kind, willing to help. The rooms are super cozy.

There were some ants in the room, nothing major as it was quickly sorted by the staff. The shower water pressure in the room was weak.

Everything was just perfect

room was very nice, with comfortable bed and a desk. shower was one of the best ones we had: good pressure and water was hot. internet worked very strongly and we were able to work without problems. the hotel has a generator so you don’t feel the power cuts. we had lunch and breakfast at the restaurant and the food was very nice. staff is great and help you with everything you need. would not hesitate to come back!

Pretty hotel, nice rooms + wi-fi, in great location 2 mins from beach

Modern, spacious room. Great location - 2 mins walk to Unawatuna beach. Hotel is very aesthetic, set in a quiet corner. Hot water was good and best wi-fi on my whole trip (can stream Netflix with no issues)

“Balcony” is just the communal corridor outdoors which overlooks the central garden (2 chairs and table for each room). Still nice, but not what I expected. Room is quite dark, as only window is the one overlooking the outdoor corridor / “balcony”.

Everything in this hotel made for a good rest It has a great atmosphere and generates with relaxing vibes It is located in very calm place but very close to the beach. Even the hottest weather the territory of hotel and especially the rooms ave very cool. Very flexible approach Local staff are very friendly Breakfast very tasty, full of fruits Rooms are very clean Highly recommend for couples and families

Nice hotel with a amazing arhitecture. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. We had a very good breakfast 🥞.

Water pressure a bit low when everyone was in the hotel.

Exceptional Staff!

the property is stunning and exceptionally clean. The staff are incredible and really go the extra mile, we only stayed 1 night but would’ve loved to have stayed more. The property is close to everything and an easy walk to the beach. I cannot recommend staying here more and thank you to the staff for helped us with our laundry and for being so caring as we were unwell during our stay.

I had a great stay at Epic. Staff are so kind and helpful! The room itself was sooo clean and cool, which helped me have the best sleep o had had during my whole sri Lankan trip! I had dinner at the restaurant one evening and it was very tasty...and good value. I loved the balcony space, which surprisingly was free from .mosquitos, even in the evening so I could sit out and relax. Also helpful to dry clothes out in the sun. Location is also good only 5 mins in a tuk tuk from the main shops and beach is just across the road so easily accessible. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend this place

we got our room for 2 days with a really nice discount so it was a good value for money and overall it was a rather plea

The room was spacious and clean. We arrived early but got checked-in almost immediately. We even got offered a slightly better room so that we wouldn’t wait for ours to get ready. We appreciated this nice gesture

Good for the price, but nothing special

We were welcomed so warmly. The staff is amazing and we could even check in earlier. The rooms were really big. And the hotel is close to the beach and many restaurants.

The rooms are okay, but nothing special and some parts were broken in our room (two lamps and the curtain rod). It looks nicer on the pictures than in reality (as often). We were also unlucky that some other guests drank and were really loud outside until midnight. The staff didn't say anything apparently.

Wonderful property. Super comfy.

Very cute place. Very clean. Very comfortable. Best place I stayed for comfort. Not on the beach, but very close. They also have good prices on tours. Would absolutely stay again. And wish I booked my entire stay here.

A lovely hotel with an exceptional manager

We had a lovely, relaxed weekend at Epic unawatuna. The hotel is lovely, clean and simple and has everything you need. The manager, Mahesh, went above and beyond to make our stay super special. He's probably one of the kindest people we've ever met, please give this man a promotion!!!!! He gave us lots of advice about things we can do in the area and he made sure we had everything we need during our stay. The hotel is a very short walk from unawatuna beach. There's also a lovely garden to relax in (although there are lots of mosquitoes at night). We ordered a few meals from the restaurant as well. Make sure you give the restaurant your order a few hours early to allow time for them to prepare their food, it's all fresh. Their rice and curry was amazing! Make sure you ask for the eggplant moju (vambatu moju in Sinhala) with the rice and curry because it's great.

Can't complain about a thing.

Overall, very happy with staffs' friendliness and helpfulness and also the cleanliness

Cleanliness!! You could literally eat off the room's floor!

No pool. Also, having a sign by the road would be helpful as hotel is about 40 meters in a small road.

A beautiful, quiet stay!

The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. They were always happy to help and went out of their way to assist us. Breakfast was great - smoothies were super tasty! Extremely comfortable rooms, hot showers and beautiful garden area.

the staff were fantastic and very helpful for anything we wanted. incredible value for money.

it wasn’t a problem as we got a scooter but it was a little bit of a walk to the main strip. but it wasn’t too far.

Good location next to the sea and close to the “center” where most of the bars and restaurants are located but also very quiet! Very nice set up regarding the rooms overlooking the garden. Clean and comfortable! All the staff was very professional and helpful! A big thanks to Mahesh

comfortable and relaxed

The room is spacious. There is a desk to work on, a kettle, a fridge and a safe. The staff are just lovely. Everyone is very attentive. Trying to help, to fulfil all requests. I was provided with extra utensils and a fruit knife. Asha arranged a good transfer to the airport for a reasonable price. Access to the beach is quite close. However, it might not be the best place to swim there. I usually went to the middle of the beach. It took about ten minutes to walk down the beach to where I liked to swim.

I couldn't find a water tap at the entrance to the property to wash the sand off my feet. Or did I miss it? Was only there for two days:)

Great Stay

Really nice big room and comfy bed. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Location is just a short walk from the start of the main beach although you'll have to walk a bit further down for the restaurants and bars. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Breakfast could have been a bit better.
