Superb

Lovely clean and fresh looking . a great location to go to the castle and walking distance to shops. If you go across the bridge at the end of the road. You can find free on street parking. Carparks with in walking distance.

Stairs, if you find stairs difficult this is not the place for you. The stairs are not all the same height, so with bad hips it makes it difficult Ground floor sitting/dinning room and toilet/ shower. Next floor kitchen Next floor double bedroom Next floor twin room.

Quirky

Lovely light and airy rooms in the front of the house. Beds comfortable. Well appointed kitchen. Good shower. We liked the house and the views are exceptional.

Very narrow stairs and the quirky arrangement of the kitchen being on the first floor meant that all food and drink had to be carried downstairs to the sitting room dining table - difficult. All parking close to the property is local residents permit only. We eventually found a parking space at some distance. The information we were sent about parking was incorrect. Lovely house, shame about the lack of parking.

Centrally located house suitable for up to 4 people, nice period features

Period features were lovely, as was the view of the castle. Shower was hot and plentiful, the heating was all automatic and kept the house warm. Kitchen was very clean.

The kitchen didn't have any washing up liquid, sponges etc. Keys were in a lockbox down a set of stairs - I managed ok but I believe some people would find be quite inaccessible, not sure if this is highlighted. Also confusion over whether the keys would be in the lockbox or someone would meet us at the property as I text the number as advised and no reply. Could have done with a blanket in the bedroom, the single beds on the top floor were ok but not the most comfortable.

You get what you pay for!

The beds were comfortable, matchs photo's. And on the phone staff were able to help me locate the property, very close to shops

You cannot park near the property, no TV, noisy area at night due to the near by pubs, needed to make up the extra beds.

Really great weekend. The property was the ideal base for exploring the local area.

A lovely, quirky little property. Lovely location in a very quiet street. A minutes walk from the town centre and amenities.

Pleasant

Location was great apart from parking situation. House is beautiful, but definitely a work in progress. It felt like we were funding the next stage of refurbishment

It was very expensive for what we got. No parking, very steep stairs, very small kitchen that was poorly equipped - only 4 mugs, only 4 glasses, only 4 forks etc etc, no dishwasher and no washing machine. Leaking windows, no house information provided, no tv (would have been handy for film watching during a very wet week) misleading marketing photos relating to size. Inadequate recycling and bin provision. Beautiful house, but more style over practical function - it felt like an unfinished project. I have been holidaying in North Wales in cottages for last 35 years so have lots of experience of what works.

Period house with a lot of stairs

Great location for traveling around that part of Wales. The WiFi was mostly ok. The owner solved a plumbing problem the day after it happened by getting a plumber on a Sunday which was very satisfactory. Easy to have takeaways delivered locally, or only a short walk to collect. Parking permits were great, and although the car had to be parked in side streets, we found a place every time which was surprising.

The rooms are spread over 4 floors so there are a great many stairs which you'll find yourself going up and down all the time; with plates from the kitchen upstairs to the dining area downstairs that's not necessarily easy. The wooden floors made it sound like we were wearing cloggs all week! The absence of a TV seemed odd, but we knew this in advance and took our own with an Amazon Firestick which worked fine with the WiFi. We coincided with strong winds which sounded very loud at night down the open chimneys; and the smell of soot was quite strong. No dish brush in the kitchen sink, just a dishcloth and washing up liquid.
