Lake Wallenpaupack Cabin w\/Beautiful Sunroom - Minutes from Lake!
About this house rental
Located in Lake Wallenpaupack, this charming house for $250 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Our home is a 5 minute walk from the front door to Lake Wallenpaupack shoreline, the largest motor boat lake in the Poconos. This property has all the necessary conveniences in mind! Each bedroom includes one queen bed and bunk beds; there is space in each room to accommodate a pack-n-play. There is a family room with basic cable and apple tv, kitchen with island and four bar stools, and a new sunroom addition that includes a dining table for eating or games, along with a couch to read your favorite book or keep an eye on the plentiful wildlife. The home has WIFI and Alexa. (PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THE HOUSE RULES) You can also enjoy eating and relaxing on the deck, or by our fire pit at night, roasting marshmallows with the kids. Saving the best for last, this home is within minutes of the lake (also minutes from Sterling Marina who rent boats, paddleboards, etc). If you have a boat, although we do not have a dock we recommend calling Ledgedale Marina to inquire about their boat launch. We offer two kayaks and various swimming floats/life vests for your convenience. For games we have can jam and cornhole. There is a large grass beach to relax, have a picnic or read a book. Our home is 15 minutes from the local grocery store, Dunkin Donuts, shopping, breweries and restaurants. Many local spots nearby for antiquing. Located 20 miles from Big Bear Ski Mountain and 35 miles from Montage Mountain and Elk Mountain for Skiing. There are many fairs and activities locally throughout the summer and other activities in the fall and winter. We suggest visiting the Wallenpaupack Visitor Center for more information.

This is a great cabin with plenty of amenities. It was in a perfect location for seeing waterfalls. The sun room looked inviting but didn't have to to enjoy it. The host was very nice and knowledgeable about the area. The only thing was that we didn't know we needed to supply our sheets and towels. We would definitely stay here again.

The cottage was clean and sunny with a big sun room. Fishing spots on Lake Wally were within walking distance. The biggest problem was going out to lunch/dinner as most restaurants were 20 minutes away except for a couple neighborhood bar/restaurants. We enjoyed reading on the deck and going to antique shops in Hawley & Honesdale. The neighborhood was very quiet.

Our stay was ok. I didn't like the washer/dryer in the basement. The A/C unit in the sunroom worked ok, but when the sun was beating down, it was impossible to cool the room off.

I’m actually trying to rebook this place and realized I didn’t leave a review. We had a wonderful time with our 16yo son. The house was really neat, hunting cabin feel! There were window units in the rooms but kept the place cool and comfortable. We loved the porch and enjoyed drinks at night and the sun in the afternoon. Definitely recommend this property.

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy little house! The owner was super accommodating and available whenever we had questions (there was 5 inches of snow on the ground with freezing rain on top so we were in need of a snow shovel, etc.). The house was VERY clean and super comfortable! There were many toys and games to keep my little ones entertained while inside. The lake was a short walk away and we had fun walking on it while frozen solid!

The Lake House is beautiful!! Perfect for two couples. Easy walks in a quiet neighborhood, easy access to the Lake, lots of wildlife, including deer in the yard every day. The sun room has quickly become one of our favorite places, we did our yoga in the sun room every morning. Higly recommended!!

This house was a great vacation rental to use while attending a nearby wedding. It was very clean and well stocked with anything you could need. We enjoyed the deck with comfortable chairs to relax to enjoy our coffee & cocktail and watch the deer. They had a nice fire pit area too which we would have loved to use if we had the time. The living room furniture and beds were very comfortable. It is a nice location to take a short walk to the lake and marina. Thanks to the owners for an awesome weekend.

Very nice property. Small, but very comfortable. Many amenities and the air conditioning units are a huge plus. The kayaks and water sporting equipment kept us really occupied during our stay. I would love to stay there again.

Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils and even paper products! Even though there were houses quite close to us, it was very quiet with lots of wildlife. Would definitely recommend!

Cozy, winter escape
To echo the others, the host provides a beautiful, clean, and cozy space to enjoy. No detail is forgotten. The house has many accommodations, especially for those traveling with kids (i.e. toys, games, bed rails, night lights). Jenise was a thoughtful host who went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed to enjoy our stay. While not super close to area skiing, the cabin was in a great location and we enjoyed a nice, scenic drive to ski Big Bear. It would be great to come back to enjoy the summertime activities! Thanks for hosting our family!

Organized and immaculately clean, this cabin has all the comforts of home! With 3 areas of the home capable of "gathering" our group of 5 (mornings with coffee on the deck, afternoons with books in the beautiful sunroom and evenings with movies in the living room) there was plenty of space for all! The host is super helpful!

Relaxing getaway
The property was very clean and well prepared for our arrival. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks and and games. We had a comfortable stay and enjoyed the the time to reconnect. The house was decorated with care and had a great vibe. The WiFi worked well and the communication with Jenise was great. Our three girls are already asking us to plan a return trip.
