They truly made us feel like home

This beautiful small family hotel is a real gem. They have the best terrace and it's exclusive for guests. So you can relax, enjoy the delicious homemade breakfast and amazing morning view instead of fighting for your photo spot. But what makes it special is the staff. They are so warm and attentively helping. For anything you need in Göreme they got the best advice. They truly made us feel like home. Thank you Özgür+Burkay!

We visited during winter season therefore the room was always heated. Uncomfortable at times otherwise no issues

Pleasant.

Center of things. Saw hot air balloon from our bed. We got the top suite.

Showering is an issue. Hot water is hard to get and adjusted. Shower holder is awkward, very small stream.

Superb

What an incredible hotel to stay in Capaddocia. We booked everything with the hotel (tours, transfers and balloon ride) and it was excellent! The hotel is very well located and the rooms are very good. It was an unforgettable experience!

The only downside is that if you want to have luch or dinner, the hotel does not have options, but you can manage it easily.

The best views you can get in Cappadocia

Great location at a higher elevation, so you're treated to magnificent views of the hot air balloons in the morning. Only 10 rooms or so are available, so you never feel over-crowded with tons of guests wandering about. Wonderful complimentary breakfast, and rooms themselves are opulent and comfy. Best bathroom I've ever seen!

As lovely as this place is, you definitely have to pay a premium for it. No one would accuse it of being inexpensive, that's for sure.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Koza Cave Hotel, and while there were some positive aspects to my experience, there were a few areas that fell short of my expectations. Firstly, the shower corner was quite dark, which made it challenging to see clearly while showering. Improved lighting in this area would greatly enhance the guest experience. Secondly, the absence of a tv in our room (twin room). Although I understand that some guests may appreciate the opportunity to disconnect, having the option to unwind and catch up on the news or enjoy a movie would have been a nice addition, particularly during downtime or inclement weather. Additionally, I expected a livelier atmosphere at the hotel, especially when compared to the neighboring famous hotel. The lack of lunch and dinner, activity or entertainment options within the property made it feel somewhat subdued. The unavailability of the bar during my stay further contributed to the limited socializing opportunities. The restaurant is only open for breakfast. Lastly, it was unfortunate that the terrace was not set up due to the weather conditions. I had hoped to enjoy the picturesque views and perhaps relax with a drink, but it was not possible during my visit. Although this factor is beyond the hotel's control, it did impact the overall experience.

Good location & excellent views - Breakfast was ok. Expensive considering all the facilities

The hotel rooftop terrace has great views so for Hot Air balloon pics its great. Also the hotel is 10-15 mins walk (uphill though) from the city center. Rooms were great and they upgraded us for free to a bigger room which was awesome

Breakfast choices were very limited. For the cost of the room I expected a good spread of breakfast The Hotel is uphill so be ready to walk back up from the city center and there are no proper roads or walkways so have to be careful while walking. It rained when we were there so it was a mess of muddy & slippery roads to walk through

Exceptional warm and friendly service with Turkish tea upon arrival. Super accomodating during shoulder seasons with last minute additional guest in the room. One of us had an early flight and the whole team moved breakfast earlier so that we went to the airport full.

Lovely hotel with great view.

Koza Cave is located at one of the summits where you can get the best views when the balloons start flying in the morning. The hotel truly looks like what is shown in the photos. Hotel staffs are super nice and helpful, and breakfast is lovely too! - Bonus if you like cats, many friendly feline friends here!

The room is quite dark, and some corners are not well lit.

Highly recommended place to stay during your time at Cappadocia

My friend and I had a great stay at Koza Cave Hotel. The staff was amazing, especially the male staff that was working part time at the breakfast area. Their terrace is definitely the highest amongst the rest of the surrounding hotels. The room was comfortable and as advertised.

The shower had an open concept without any doors that you can closed to keep the water inside. Inevitably, the rest of the bathroom got soaked after anyone uses the showers.

Unfortunately it didn't meet my expectations

The hotel offers the highest terrace of the city. However it was already closed in october when we arrived (which is not communicated on the booking website). The rooms are really nice and the girl at the reception tried to help as much as she can. They arrange a taxi for you when need to go to the airport whichi s really nice.

To be honest looking at price value i don't think it's worth it. I booked this hotel based on good reviews and instagram stories and i think this hotel is good and worth the money in high season. But when we arrived (even still in holiday period) a lot of facilities were closed which was concerning the amount we paid for >400 euros for 2 nights not fair. Also no place you can get a coffee before 8 o clock which is kinda weird since you wake up early wanting to look at sunrise etcetra. So probably it's worth the money in high summer season but before and after there are better hotels for less money.

Not really worth the price.

Annoyingly noisy at night and early morning. Constant dog barking from what is seems to be the house dog... Early morning constructions, trucs passing by etc.. Room was great but whats the point of a great room if you cannot rest properly!

PERFECTION!

Absolutely every single detail was perfect. This wonderful hotel is family-run, and they are all kind and warm. Even the taxi service from the airport is run by the family uncle. The breakfast is freshly made every day, the terrace to see the hot air balloons is wonderful, and they will help you prepare for your tours in Kapadokya. Absolutely recommended.

Perfect experience!

- Super beautiful cave hotel, every corner is well decorated with good taste! The terrace is especially amazing, perfect place to view the hot air balloons in the morning and cozy area to get a drink and see the sunset. The terrace has views on both sides, so we were not just amazed by the hot air balloons but also the Uchisa Castle on the other side. Perfect for photographs! Apart from the terrace, their bars, breakfast room, common areas are all nicely decorated, we found surprise in every corner! - The cave room is amazing! We stayed in a ground floor suite which has a beautiful little private courtyard and a cozy indoor seating area facing the courtyard, the cave room even has a winery which makes the room itself a real cave museum! Super enjoyable and amazing cave experience! - The host family (and their cats) are very kind and friendly, breakfast and drinks are great as well!

Would be better if the bathroom can have more privacy but understand that installing a door might not be good to the cave. :)

Very helpful staff and has an excellent rooftop terrace to see the hot air balloon flying above Gerome at sunrise. good variety of food at breakfast.

we have a large bathroom complete with hammam but no loofah available. would be helpful if there’s loofah provided so that we can enjoy the hammam.

A great place on top of the city for a great sun rise watching the balloons 🎈. Do expect alot of people taking photos 📸 yet you will have your turn. G THE HOST is amazing

Stop searching! Highest cave hotel for balloon views! Unbelievable service and location!

The highest and best view over Goreme and the hotel is the best experience ever! The cave room was quiet and great for sleeping. The rooftop at sunrise cannot be beaten. You see the balloons take off and it’s magical. I booked here for the experience and photography and it exceeded all expectations. The home cooked breakfast was the best in all of Turkey. My only tip: I took a taxi here from another hotel and unless you have a backpack, you will need a shuttle or taxi. The roads are dirt and suitcases can’t roll the 5 min walk up the hill to the dream hotel. Just book it! You will never regret the once in a lifetime change to stay here!

Stunning room with the best view in Cappadocia! The rooms are a bit pricier here but well worth it. the staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and cocktails are great too.
