Радует, что номер приятный)

Выбрали отель на Лантау, чтобы съездить на Будду. Дешево доехать, но долговато. Номер большой и чистый, слышно как шумит вода.

Отель находится в глуши, вокруг нет ничего. Ресепшен и коридоры пугают и воняют хлоркой. Похож на старый детский лагерь.

Relaxing and peaceful beach stay

The location is great for a family. You step right out of the hotel and to the beach. There is a large playground next to the hotel as well. The double bed is actually a king size which worked perfectly for my family. The robot waiter in the restaurant delights my son (and us too). Water refill stations on each floor. Refrigerator in the room. Heater and air conditioner functions in each room. Garden area.

The property is older and could use a few updates. The mattress sagged in two spots, the bathroom sink required force to turn on and off and only the bath shower worked but not the faucet. Minor details, but it is a beach hotel and wear and tear to floor and surfaces is expected. Also, be aware- stairs and no elevator. There was a limited menu in the restaurant for vegetarians but plenty of options nearby. I felt some of the equipment rental prices were too high or were things which should be included for free.

The hotel is comfortable but not soundproof so I wouldn’t go back.

The pool is nice. The proximity to the beach, the ferry, the outdoor playground behind the hotel, is convenient. The all you can eat bbq at the hotel is a good option too.

Our room wasn’t soundproof at all. We could hear the neighbors children playing until late at night. Also the plumbery is outdated, the water running through the pipes is very noisy, any neighbor having a late shower or bath will wake you up.

Another Mui Wo Trip

The staff were much friendlier this time around. I guess maybe the manic COVID rush to Mui Wo has calmed down since international flights opened up 😅

The room is still very basic and rather unclean in places.

Good

No coffee or tea making facilities no sugar no milk powder. These are the very basic things you have in a hotel for the price we paid its wasn't cheap.

great location and comfortable - good as a getaway from HK Island

hotel failed to respond to multiple calls and emails regarding a request to change the booking dates over several weeks. I was forced to book again and it was only luck I could find a friend to take the original room

a family friendly hotel

the beach is just in front of the hotel. great location. well functioned air conditioner with basic equippments such as slippers, tooth brushes, hair dryer, electronic kettle, thats more than my expectation.

the walls and windows are really too thin that u can almost hear everything from the rooms next to u or even at the floor below yours. i know it is a family friendly hotel, but i dont know why, just everyone including kids wont go to sleep before 12am or before u complain them. im not a person like complaining but i just cant stand the screaming and jumping noise all around you in the midnight. for other things, it is fair when u dont expect too much. a bit expensive for the level of accomodation n services. will not go again.

a room with quiet and tranqual view. good enough if you don't expect luxuary furnishing.

The room we were first assigned has a smell of cigarettes. it's the fault of selfish costumers. I report to the reception immediately and they gave me another room that is in a better condition. A reminder to future costumers - the hotel is very close to the beach, therefore please be expected the room may be a bit humid but it's well maintained.

there are better places to eat around.

Would definitely stay there again.

I didn't expect much, but it really exceeded my expectations. The room was really clean, spacious and the bed was really comfortable. We were impressed.

Pool was closed for maintenance, you would think they would do that during the coldest parts of the year, not May.

Great stay, nice location in the lovely town of Mui Wo, comfortable and decent enough room.

Fantastic location close to Silvermine Beach, not too long of a walk from the ferry pier. I was worried after reading some bad reviews of this place, but didn't encounter issues personally. Our room was spacious and nice enough. I requested a room with a bathtub and they were able to accomodate so bonus points for that. Funnily, the knob to toggle the water from showerhead to bath tap was a bit broken, I asked reception who said "the facility is not available anymore" and so I was planning to fill the bathtub with the showerhead, but after I got back to my room the water was coming out of the bath tap so it worked eventually! Lol.

Queue to check-in is a bit long on Sunday 3-4pm, so for us we just came back later to check-in as we weren't in a hurry. Bathtub was very low, couldn't fit two people in for a nice, luxurious soak, but better than no bath! Price does seem a bit expensive for what you get.

For the price I expected better .

Location for breakfast is excellent . Breakfast staff were very friendly .

Rooms weren’t very clean . You need some new carpets . You need some more staff to help at check in time and as a 52 year old Englishman I have never ever seen sweetcorn on my breakfast before . Can’t you change to baked beans ?

Disappointing stay, low value for what you pay.

Location in front of the beach but works were bringing lot of noise and impossible to open the windows which were tainted

Wifi was terrible, room badly isolated ( you can hear your neighboor talking next door), no swimming pool facilities, breakfast really basic and only 2 choices.

apart from its location, no other value at all.

convenient location

no facilities at all, no emergency maintenance work ( even toilet), even front desk cannot help make reservations at own restaurant. the restaurant phone no. is always unanswered ( always out of office hour no matter what time you call )

Great location , quiet and only a 5 minute walk from the ferry pier and the town centre with plenty of eating out venues. Close to hiking trails The room was large and comfortable , good hot shower .

Very poor sound proofing within the building. Hotel should really be stricter on rules,like state that karaoke in rooms is not acceptable . The property as a whole looks tired and in need of redecoration .It is also far too expensive for a winter stay when facilities cannot be fully enjoyed (pool etc.).
