About this villa rental
Located in South Venice, this lovely villa for $286 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. A beautiful Florida home close to Manasota beach and within easy reach of a wide range of shops, restaurants and golf courses. This is a tastefully decorated home in the typical Florida style with all the facilities that you need to have the perfect holiday. As you step into the house through the pillared foyer you have a view of the open plan family area with large TV, DVD player and coffee table. There is also an extra seating area which has 2 sofas and a coffee table which looks onto the secluded pool through the large patio doors onto the deck. To the right there is the dining area which is perfect for entertaining and comfortably seats 6. The well stocked kitchen area is open plan and is fully equipped with all modern appliances. There is also a casual dining breakfast area with table and chairs overlooking the private pool area. The master bedroom is large with a king bed, walk in closets and beautiful furnishings, there is a large en-suite bathroom with walk in shower and tub together with a double vanity. The bedroom also benefits from a private entrance to the pool area There is a further en-suite bedroom which has a queen bed and a walk in shower together with a private entrance to the pool area. There are a further two twin bedrooms which both share the third full bathroom. Each room has large closets and lovely furnishings The utility room has a washer and dryer and leads through to the 2 car garage. The pool area is large and is perfect for outdoors dining. There is a table and seating for 8 together with a gas barbeque. There are also loungers to enjoy the fantastic Florida sunshine. Pool heating is available which is an additional charge. The property boasts large gardens to both the front and rear which are bordered by mature shrubs and trees which gives both privacy and a great view from the pool. The villa has high speed internet included and free calls within the US and Canada This perfect Florida home, in a excellent location, close to the unspoilt Manasota beach, will ensure that you have a great vacation.

The house was as advertised. It is spacious, well equipped, and clean in a very quiet neighborhood. Communication with the host prior and after our visit was very good. We would not hesitate renting this property again when in the Venice Florida area.

I didn’t want to leave! The place is spacious, the beds were comfy and it was nice everyone had their own bathroom. The pool was a little green when we got there but the owner sent someone over immediately after I sent a text and it was clear within a day. It is located 5 minuets from beautiful Manasota Key Beach which is the best beach to find shark teeth and shells that I have ever been to.We had a lot of fun using the floating sand sifter and shell collector the owner provided.

The house worked perfectly for us. Overall a very nice property. The pool area was dirty because screens were out from storm damage. No big deal we just washed down the padio and used the net to clean the pool. I paid for the heated pool and it wasn't working when we arrived. They got it working the next day but it took a day to catch up so we lost 2 days. Didn't ask for a refund. The one toilet had the back apart and the float valve stuck when you flushed it so I fixed it. Again no big deal. The reason I say be aware to document. We found stained towels and wash cloths. We went out and bought bleach and cleaned them the best we could so we could use them. Again no big deal. The problem was getting nit picked on little things we have no idea what they are talking about. Stained cups? Torn hand towel? Stains on counters? Whatever, I want to leave it like I got it, but when you get nit pick charges after you have them grace on the things it just doesn't sit well. I should have been messaging with every issue but I didn't I just handled it. They have a mistrust probably because of bad renters so cover yourself and document everything you find or you may get blamed for it.

Owner accused us of having a dog on the property based on them finding a bone in one of the couches that we never even sat on. Traveled there for my nieces wedding with my wife, adult children, and with my parents. Owner kept my deposit and never responded to the fact that i assured him there were no dogs.
His neighbors watch everything as I had some of my family over for a couple hours and was immediately called. Funny the neighbors were watching everything however; i don't recall him mentioning a dog when he called to complain that i had a few family members over. We are all adults and left the house as we found it. Which included some lights and switches that didn't work however i didn't complain as it was not a big deal.
You may want to check out the house when you arrive and make them aware of everything that is wrong. Double check the couch cushions to make sure the people before didn't leave anything that he can charge you for.

If you like sleeping on hard beds, this is the house for you. We had to purchase a mattress topper to be able to sleep without pain. The dishes, silverware and glasses in kitchen all needed washed before we could use them. Other than that, the house was beautiful and Manasota beach is only 1.3 miles away. The pool was fantastic other than the solar cover that was rolled up outside of the pool was constantly shedding blue plastic bubbles into the pool. I would stay here again if the bed in the two master suites were better.

Second time staying at property
PROPERTY IS NICE, HOWEVER THE POOL WAS DIRTY AND NOT ABLE TO REALLY SWIM, POOL COMPANY OUT 3 TIMES DURING WEEK, BUT STILL CLOUDY AND STUFF FLOATING IN WATER, VERY DISAPPOINTED THIS TIME.

Nice place but needs updates
House was nice and clean but definitely needs some updates. Beds are horrible to sleep on and was left with one trash bag and one roll of toilet paper for each bathroom. With seven people for seven days that will not do. Overall it was not a bad place to stay. The best part was being a couple miles from the beach.

Great Vacation
Just what we were looking for. This comfortable, large home was great for our family. Three generations celebrated our first vacation in three years. The pool was enjoyed by all and there was ample space for everyone to have their own space. Less than 3 mi. to the beach, stores and restraunts.

I was surprised by the great location of the property. I was not familiar with the Venice area and to have Manasota Beach 2 miles down the road was awesome. Not to mention Manasota Keys, Englewood Beach and Boca Grande. And all the beaches in between that we never got to. I was surprised by the great location of the property. I was not familiar with the Venice area and to have Manasota Beach 2 miles down the road was awesome. Not to mention Manasota Keys, Englewood Beach and Boca Grande. And all the beaches in between that we never got to. Per our discussion I feel the property would have been cleaner and some of the issues taken care of had you been able to travel and come to the property yourself. Thank You for sharing your home with us. We actually found a property (Condo) for ourselves while we were in Englewood and were able to close on the property prior to us leaving Florida. Per our discussion I feel the property would have been cleaner and some of the issues taken care of had you been able to travel and come to the property yourself. Amazing Vacation
We originally booked this vacation for spring break 2020 but due to COVID lockdown we had to reschedule it for Thanksgiving. Steve was great to work with and accommodated our date changes . The house was great, it was clean and neat and equipped with everything you need. The pool heater was broken so we had to wait 3 days until it was fixed but Steve took care of it and it was not a big deal.
We look forward to spending more time in Venice and recommend this property to everyone.

Nice and roomy
only minus was trash left by previous tenant that we acknowledge day before departure that drew knats,also we left our trash in cans outside and left previous trash out with note in it since it had knats all over,didn't want new people to walk into knats. We loved the spacious home and the pool needed a smidge more cleaning,location great and nice back yard

Great place
We all enjoyed our stay. Great house with plenty of room. Very short drive to the beach and plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. Close to preserve which was a great place for morning walks. Great communication with owner throughout the booking process and during our stay. I would recommend!
