The common spaces
There were several things that led to a less than satisfactory experience - first, the shower hook in the bathroom was broken, leaving the handheld sprayer to come crashing down on our feet. Next the room was very dark without all lights working, it hadn’t had a deep clean in ages and the guest floor was so loud at night from the front door buzzer ringing or telephone from guests returning, and then again the morning with breakfast served directly outside the window. In addition, the door to exit the building had a broken handle and guests are not given keys to return; as a result, when we returned after dinner after 10pm, and in the pouring rain, we waited more than 15 minutes outside while ringing the doorbell and calling repeatedly to be granted entry. When someone finally arrived, no apologies were given. Lastly, for breakfast the following morning, it took nearly 15 minutes for coffee, leading to overall poor service.

I loved all the extra little details and efforts made by the staff. eg. putting rose petals on the bed, lighting candles o the table ready for the evening meal, etc.

Wonderful stay!
The treatment was second to none and the riad is located really close to the Souks in Medina.
I would rate my stay with a 10 out of 10.
Amazing breakfast every morning before exploring Medina!

The Riad is absolutely stunning, it’s effortlessly photogenic from basically every angle. The rooms were also really good size, very comfortable and clean (cleanest among all riads we’ve stayed in Morocco) and facilities like hot water and AC works well, and includes room cleaning service every day. Breakfast isn’t the most traditional Moroccan breakfast but it was very nice! Location wise it’s towards north part of the medina - it’s very easy to get into the medina (5 min walk) and really near a taxi station, it’s a 15min walk to the main square but there are lots of restaurants and shops to see away from the main square anyways so great location anyways!
Moroccan hospitality is truly the greatest thing we’ve experienced of the culture, which was something we didn’t find much of at this riad compared to all the other places we stayed at in Morocco. The staff was nice but there was much less interactions, and it just felt much less personable which made the riad lack a little bit of a soul. Other minor things were that the entrance signage isn’t very obvious so it can be hard to find down the alley and breakfast service tends to be quite slow. But if hospitality doesn’t matter as much to you or you’re mainly looking for somewhere pretty and comfortable to stay at then this is definitely a nice place to stay at

it’s very cosy, warm environment. Moroccan style furniture. Rooms are nice and comfortable although in need of small maintenance. Good breakfast prepared locally.
to arrive there you have to pass through a number if small and dirty small lanes. We had a dinner in house which was quite ok. Beer quite expensive. we had a small “accident” as one of us left a pair of earrings that “disappeared”. On the same date another guest had a similar accident with some cash left in the room and called the Police. it happens (let’s say) and they apologised sincerely but offered no compensation.

Services was great! Team was amazing, kind, and helpful.
The place is pretty magical.
There isn't much sound privacy. So best when no loud guests there.

I got a henna tattoo and soiled the sheets and the duvet cover and they gave me a 250€ bill to pay…I don’t recommend the stay

Beautiful riad, cosy, feels like home. good food (but quite expensive) and really great Moroccan tea :)
all staff was kind and caring. parking is possible on the nearby square (Riad Larousse). convenient location and quite calm. great terrace
it is slightly expensive, there are minor things to fix in the room, we also had smelly toilet - not sure if this is something Marrakesh specific or riad specific. swimming pool could also be better maintained

Everything was perfect from the moment we stepped through the beautiful door. The ambiance, the room, courtyard & terrace. Nordine & Idrees looked after us so well.

absolutely loved the service and attention to detail. the interior design with all its details was incredible and we were completely taken care of from the moment we arrived. We had an issue with WiFi in the first room and got upgraded with no fuss to an incredible room that was perfect. we’re also both lactose intolerant and the chef made different traditional dairy free options for us for breakfast every morning that we’re absolutely incredible! the rooftop was brilliant with turtles and the staff had the table set for us in our favourite place every morning.
we loved how the Riad was in the middle of the medina with easy access to the sound and central old town of Marrakech but sometimes when walking home felt a bit uncomfortable with persistent people following us down the route from the taxi square to the medina. no fault of the venue and nothing bad happened. the kitchen wasn’t operating lunch or dinner unless you prebooked which was slightly inconvenient but also made us go out to explore more.

This is my third time in Marrakech and I always stay in Riads. I missed the welcoming of the owners who were not there, breakfast is regular and the bathroom in my room did not have a pleasant odor. I had richer experiences from previous times
Lacks charm and proximity typical of the Riads
8.0
The location is good, easy to get there and walking distance to medina, YSL garden. It is also very quite. The staffs are nice and helpful with luggage and useful tips for attractions, food and how to avoid dispute with the monkey or snake guys at the square.
The Riad itself is very beautiful. But we came wrong time, as it was too cold in January to enjoy the pool or the terrace. Somehow, the whole ambience was cold, it became better in the morning with the birds sing. Maybe I had too much expectation for the Riad. Marrakech smells commercial...
Many choices of yogurt, cookies and fresh made breads for breakfast.

The staff went above and beyond to be helpful whilst giving us space. The breakfast was delicious and the Riad was beautiful.
