Our stay was great - cottage was very clean (except for kitchen garbage can which was pretty gross, but we just put a large plastic garbage bag inside, so not our worry - didn't have to look at it or deal with it); our online instructions for key code, pet rules, etc., were excellent. It's SO convenient to the village, marina, only 2 doors down from small convenient store (Max's, which was perfect to just walk and get ice, etc.); a great fire pit in yard - and a sweet surprise when out at the campfire, lights on a timer lit up along the back fence - made for a nice ambience (I think the website should give more detailed information/pictures on those items because it was really nice); also, it's so pet friendly (the whole town is!) - We think the website's description doesn't do it justice - (not that's it's bad! just that it's nicer than we anticipated) -

This is a great location. Had some issues after a few contacts it was taken care of. Was not real clean. Mold on windows in bedrooms. Foors dirty couch dirty and mattress cover dirty. Dissatisfied I'm the amount of money that was paid as we could have stayed somewhere much nicer for the same price. The neighbors that came for the second house left and didn't even stay. We had no where else to go with our dog and kids unless we drove over 4 hours back home. No discount or refund offered at all for issues that occured location great house not.

The house is very small for how many people it sleeps. The sink was clogging in the bathroom and didn’t drain very well, bathroom toilet seat is terrible as it moved every time you sat on it, the house next to us had issues with the lock so we were able to luckily help them with their pets but very frustrating to not have help to be able to fix the lock issue. It was nice to have the house so close to be able to walk into town for the shopping and places to eat. It was nice to be able to be so close to everything. I will say I didn’t like the parking situation at the house as I think somehow there should be a better setup for that like where the plants are to be able to get out easier as it is hard to get out with all the oncoming busy traffic. My daughter did enjoyed her birthday weekend away tho with her friend and it was nice to be so close to everything and they loved the bunk room. The bed was very comfortable to sleep on and the air conditioning was working great on these hot couple days.

The place really only sleeps 4. Has two full beds in the bedrooms. Does have a pull out couch, but is basically springs in a twin bed shape. There are cameras aimed at the fire pits, which make sitting out there uncomfortable and the bathroom is extremely small. The property does have wifi and a smart tv.

Stayed 7/2 - 7/9 2023. Nice week stay at cottage. Walking distance to strip, located by lodge. Had everything we needed to make it a comfortable stay. Would stay again.

This cottage was a very nice, clean and cozy cottage. It is a smaller cottage but the experience was fantastic. The rental manager responded very quickly in any communication that needed to be done. Definitely will be requesting this property again during the next visit.

Dirt and hair all over the floor no washcloths was off the strip pics give false info it’s not on the side of the beach which was what we were wanting and it was at the top of the strip which was false also. If we would of known the truth we would not of booked with this property. Won’t be back with them.

I enjoyed the stay, nice lil cozy area, not far from strip,the memory foam mattress was great, the place stayed cool with the a/c on. Thee only things that were a downer for me was the bathroom, I'm 6'2'' 270 and the shower was small and trying to use the toilet was like being in a camper, very tight, but that's it, the bedroom coulda use lil darker shades/curtains to keep the sun out, was up extra extra early on my stay due to the sun coming in, but I enjoyed the heck outta it. Other then that I'd book it everytime I'd stay down there

I honestly do not know how 4 people could fit in this cottage. I travelled alone with my dog and it felt very small. The bathroom was TINY and was very uncomfortable. I’m not a big woman and could barely fit in the shower and/or use the toilet. The door opens in and that makes the bathroom feel even smaller. It appeared very clean when I arrived, but when my dog lost his ball under the chair…I pulled the chair away from the wall and it had so much dirt and dog hair (not my dog’s fur). There is no view. You need to walk away from the property to see anything other than a fence and other buildings. The property manager was very responsive during booking and the place allowed dogs so that was a plus for me. Another positive is the cottage is close to the strip and restaurants. If you are away ALL day and just need a place to sleep, I think it might be an ok place. If you are looking for a relaxing place to hang for a week, this is NOT your place. I left a day early because it was not what I expected at all.

This cottage is a great little get away. Clean and cozy. I will say that if you are planning to stay there and plan to "get ready" to go to an event, the bathroom is quite small. Not problematic per say, but limited counterspace in the bathroom was a little challenging for makeup/hair.

The cottage is run down, dirty and uncomfortable. If you’re looking for a place to lay your head after a long night at the bars, this place is fine. The bedding, counters and sinks were clean when we arrived but the place overall was disgusting. Mold and filth in the bathroom in several places. Holes in the ceiling around the light fixtures and a few in the walls. Several soft spots in the flooring and lots of accumulated filth where the newer flooring was poorly cut around the doorways and in corners. We contemplated leaving the evening we arrived but decided to try to stick it out for 2 of the 3 nights we booked. Ultimately, we left due to feeling extremely uncomfortable in the space.

The property is very tired, very tiny, but the hosts are meticulous with cleanliness and I appreciate that. There is no view - of anything- and it’s far from the Strip, but that also meant it was quiet, and that’s a plus.

Very small bathroom missing pieces of floor. Toilet overflowed 2 times during stay which used all the towels. Air conditioner in the main bedroom is very very loud could not sleep with it

I wanted to take my kids to the lake for a few days, and Amy's property was the right price. I should have done more research about exactly where the beaches are located in Geneva-on-the-Lake (thought we'd be able to walk to a beach to swim), but that is my own fault. My 16 year old son attempted to sleep on the pull-out couch, but it was extremely uncomfortable. He ended up sleeping in a chair. I would consider a new mattress for the pull-out couch. As others have mentioned, the bathroom is VERY small, but it was clean, along with everything else. Thanks Amy for being such a great host and easy to get a hold of!
