Long Island Breeze Compound offers a main house, a guest house and large pool enclosed in park like grounds! This beautiful Compound offers a total of 5 bedrooms and a den with sleeper sofa to comfortably sleep 12 guests. Located one block from Saunders Beach, a half mile of white sand with calm turquoise water, protected by several islands offshore. The Compound is close to the main West Bay Street and about 10 minutes from downtown Nassau, convenient to Atlantis, Paradise Island, the new Baha Mar resort and the famous Cable Beach strip with shops, bars, restaurants and gambling outlets. A stay of 7 nights or longer comes with a free round of golf for one guest at the renowned Ocean Club golf course. Additional rounds can be arranged by the owner at discounted rates. The Long Island Breeze Compound is gated and fully fenced with main house and guest house separated by the large pool (with pool house and full bath) and expansive deck. Enter the 3300 sf main house through the double wooden doors into the dramatic 2 story entry and enjoy the comfortable modern Bahamian decor. On the first floor you will find a spacious great room with 60” screen TV and dining table to seat 10 which overlooks the pool through a set of French doors. Separate formal living room. Modern gourmet island kitchen with gas stove top, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances with pass through to living area. Upstairs offers 3 bedrooms (two kings and one queen) plus a separate den with sleeper sofa that can be used as a 4th bedroom. All bedrooms have large flat screen TV's. The master bedroom allows a glimpse of the ocean from the deck, and a cedar dressing room. The luxurious master bath features a jetted tub, shower and dual sinks. Bedroom #2 has deck overlooking the pool, the den with sleeper sofa also overlooks the pool and Bedroom #3 overlooks the gardens. Plantation shutters throughout add to the airy ambiance. The very private Guest House offers a separate gated entry and double doors which lead to the art filled living area that is flooded with light from the skylight. The décor is a sophisticated eclectic mix of upscale city with a Bahamian flair and features a piano! The cathedral ceiling adds to the drama. The gourmet kitchen has granite countertops, a double oven and double sink. The two king bedroom suites are upstairs and both offer balconies (one balcony overlooks the pool and the other balcony overlooks the gardens), French doors, window seat and Plantation shutters. Both have en-suite baths. The house also has a half bath on the first floor. The outdoor trellised patio offers private outdoor space to enjoy the gardens. The Compound has abundant outside space including a large pool, patio and a lush green lawn. The manicured grounds offer many colorful gardens with fruit trees and bougainvillea galore. Our group of 11 friends had a fantastic time. The hosts were great and accommodating. The backyard was like being in a tropical oasis and made you feel isolated from the rest of the world. The beach was a very short walk away. We would highly recommend this place and would go back in a heartbeat.

Had a great time at this home, very spacious, comfortable and clean and relatively close to everything. The hosts were very attentive and always there to answer to our needs, even provided tips and recommendations to make our trip wonderful. We enjoyed guava, limes and star fruits from the gardens. Sonja is an amazing host.

Great place, owners are great. Walked to public beach is about a block but we went on down to some of the hotel beaches. Food is very expensive there so be prepared.

This property couldn’t be more perfect for me and my extended family. Having access to the pool with kids was incredible. The lush gardens made the experience feel secluded and special yet the public beach was just a small walk down the street. Sonja was so accommodating and easy to work with. We really had everything we needed for a family of 11!

The house was very nice. We enjoyed the pool area where we spent a lot of time. The guest house was gorgeous. Sonja was very welcoming, and met us at the property to explain the safety features of the house. If you like lots of drinking water, use the big blue bottles in the garage to fill at the grocery stores. Otherwise, you are charged a fee for both water and the bottle. And, no money when bottles are returned. It was just like home with all the accommodations. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone traveling to Nassau.

We were able to check in early which was helpful for our large group. The property grounds are huge and the landscaping absolutely beautiful. Houses felt secure and had workable security systems. Kitchen reasonably well stocked for a rental, had lots of spices from previous guests for example. Pool isn't heated so it was mostly the kids that used it a lot. Pool area is large and has a couple different seating areas. Could use a few new chair cushions. Has a gas grill, although it's been heavily used and we couldn't find a grill scraper - so that would be a good pick-up. Hosts were exceptionally quick to respond to questions, helpful, friendly, and obviously take pride in their beautiful property. Payment was easy and no drama with deposits. Most of the bedrooms are suites between the 2 houses so that was really great for the adults in our group. We put the kids in the smaller couple rooms with just double or queen beds. For transportation on the island, it's so easy to just walk to Bay St and flag down a mini bus for $1.25 pp. Saunders Beach across the street is pretty, close, great water color, safe for swimming. Although if you snorkel you will see a lot of trash. Overall, the house and grounds were so big and pleasant and peaceful that we rarely felt compelled to go elsewhere. It was really nice space to be and just luxuriate outside with perfect weather and good friends. Would definitely recommend this accommodation. Thank you for the great stay and hospitality!

This beautiful property is just as advertised! Both houses are well maintained, very clean and well stocked. The compound is very secure. The grounds are beautifully maintained with many lush tropical plants and trees. The pool and pool area have everything needed to enjoy a day or evening in the pool or cooking out. Although we did not have any problems, the owners were readily accessible making sure we enjoyed our stay and very nice people. Our group of 8 was comfortable with bedrooms and house space. We had wonderful week at this property and plan to rent again when we have a return vacattion in Nassau.

We went to the Bahamas for my daughters graduation. What a beautiful place! Our group of 13 stayed between the two houses on the property. The house is in a great location and is close to everything. Both houses are very well kept. The pool is serviced twice a week. Sonja and her mom are the perfect hosts! So friendly and very helpful!! The neighborhood is very quiet and just a short walk to the beach. I suggest renting a car to get around. Would stay at this property again if ever back in Nassau!! Heaven On Earth
Eight Cousins set out for one of the most exciting week of their lives. The Compound's grounds are full of tropical plants, flowers and trees. The Main House and Guest House are decorated so fabulously that upon returning home I had to add some accessories to remind me of our stay. Two complete houses and a huge pool; just simply beautiful. We want to go back, not sure when, but we are going back to our home away from home. The owner and her mom were so help to our requests. They live not too far away

Marine Dr. Paradise
Our group of 7 stayed at both the main house, 3 bedrooms and the pool house, 2 bedrooms. It was the perfect size for us but property can definitely fit more people. Both homes we're fully furnished(beach towels & regular towels as well) although we all agree the pool house definitely had more charm(decor) than the main house. Both homes are SUPER secure. Locks on all doors and alarm system. Both homes also have AC and wifi..FYI definitely stronger in the pool house.The pool was clean and serviced 2x that week, even came with an inflatable swan! The landscaping of the property was that worthy of magazine's. It's really quite relaxing and picturesque. At any point you can hop outside and sit at the purple picnic table, a hammock, or on any of the balconies outside the bedrooms. The home is on a quiet dead end street, seemed like a safe neighborhood to us, we had no issues. The home is about a minute walk away from Saunders beach. However, walking to either the fish fry or downtown Nassau would probably take you 30-45 minutes. We suggest a taxi. Cheryl's taxi service came recommended to us. They were reliable for about 2 days, after that we were forced to walk out onto the main road and flag taxi's down. The one thing we can say is that Cheryl's taxi was on time for our pickup's to and from the airport. If you aren't afraid to hop on a city 'bus' it's your best bet in the daytime to get to the downtown area. $1.25(per bus) can get you a long way. We picked ours up in front of the beach (10&12B). Keep in mind busses stop running in the 6-7pm range. Also, KFC and Pizza Hut are within walking distance from the home. :) The owners are easy to contact ,very responsive and are available to answer any questions. The logistics of booking are worked through a property manager, who is also very responsive and easy to work with. I would recommend this property.

STUNNING...AMAZING...FELT LIKE WE HIT THE LOTTERY
This rental was absolutely stunning and well equipped beyond our expectations. The owner’s payed attention to every single detail in the house. The kitchen was equipped with everything you would need to cook a small dinner to a feast. We didn’t want or need for anything, everything was in place as if you were in your own home. The grounds on this property were absolutely beautiful, we sat outside many of days enjoying the Zen environment the owners captured with the wonderful landscaping. Tons of fruit barring trees blossoming throughout the yard, bananas, cherries, pomegranate, coconut, lime, just to mention a few. The pool was relaxing, comfortable lounge chairs with outside dinning and a bbq grill. My friend also got married on the premises and everything was beautiful.. The lush yard served as a beautiful back drop for their special day. We would recommend this property to anyone who will be visiting the Bahamas. Special thanks to the owners! 5 out of 5 stars .
The only negative part of the whole experience was that we couldn't stay longer :-)

Beautiful property.
The property is wonderful and exactly as described. The owners are wonderful people that go beyond their duties to make sure you feel at home and are enjoying your stay. The reason for 4 stars is dealing with the rental isn't through the owners but a property manager that can be tedious at times.

Lovely time had by all!
The property was beautifully kept and very clean. We had 10 people in our group so there was plenty of room for everyone. The owners were nearby and very helpful with suggestions and information about the island. The location of the house near the beach and on the bus lines was a positive as we did many visits to the beach and rode the buses in town almost everyday. We use the pool a lot also.
I would however suggest that you probably need a car to get to grocery stores and other venues that buses do not go to. The house was secured with security codes and alarms. The neighborhood was quiet.
All in all we had a great time and would recommend this property.

Like stepping into a magazine house out of House
First of all the pictures didn't do the property justice. The house, the grounds,
the pool area, everything was just pristine. A wonderful array of flowers and
island plants impeccably cared for. Pool area, large good size pool, outside seating, sunning areas all great. Both the main house and guest house is
decorated like a magazine, yet very comfortable. Plenty of room for the children to play. Bedrooms, beautiful, very comfortable and again looking like they came
out of House Beautiful. A lot of security, which for us was a little overwhelming,
but I'm sure for many would be very comforting. We did prepare some meals,
which was made very easy, everything and more was in both the Main House and
in the Guest House for any of your cooking needs.
Very easy walk to a private, really nice beach. Owners were very accommodating and friendly.
All and all, great place, plenty of room for everyone to have privacy if they wanted to.
