The staff very friendly and helpful. Mr Nyamandi and his crew went extra mile to help us in everything we wanted. Very patient and accommodating. Loved their breakfast. Spacious, comfortable house with a refreshing pool
This is a very spacious house in the Aerodrome neighborhood of Victoria Falls town, about two miles from the national park and the border with Zambia. Four bedrooms and four bathrooms are available to guests, which far exceeded our needs (two adults and two kids, aged 9 and 11) but we appreciated all the space. The beds were comfortable and the A/Cs in each bedroom worked well. The pool was clean, with a nice waterfall, and very refreshing as the temperature exceeded 100 degrees Fahrenheit every day. To get to the touristy part of town and the national park, you really need to take a taxi or have a driver unless you have your own car. There was a housekeeper who cooked us delicious breakfast each day.
The driver who took us to Vic Falls town from Kasane in Botswana had a hard time finding the property when we first arrived, so I would recommend providing detailed instructions directly to guests before they arrive. While we appreciated Herbert's advice on activities and dining and connecting us with a great driver who we used to drive us around Vic Falls, it would be ideal for the owners/staff to be fully prepared to discuss all the possible activities that tourists might want to engage in, and where and how to reserve them, with inside tips on the best tour guides and companies. For example, it was only on the last day, when the driver was taking us to the airport, that it came to light that we could also have hired him to be our tour guide at Victoria Falls itself, rather than the mediocre tour company through which we ended up booking those tours (via the intermediary Viator). We made the decision to book a Vic Falls tour because we wanted to visit both sides, which is more complicated because you have to cross the border, go through Zim and Zambia border formalities, and then go some distance from the border post in Zambia up to the Zambian national park. This was fairly logistically involved -- e.g., the Zim tour guide and driver handed us over to a Zambian tour guide and driver and then met up with us again when we were done on the Zambian side -- and I didn't want to try to figure out the logistics and the transportation myself, particularly with children in tow. If you stay on the Zim side, you definitely don't need to pay money for a tour guide if all you're doing is going to the park, for which the entry fees are already exorbitant. Beware also that at least if your cell phone is with a U.S. provider, roaming probably won't work in Vic Falls (even on the Zambian side), presumably for lack of an agreement with local carriers. The wifi at Chitova's Guesthouse was reliable and fast and helped make up for the lack of cell service.

good value for money
spacious, on demand taxi service
maybe something for consideration more than a complaint: ask the guests what they would like for breakfast to avoid that half of what you prepared goes to waste. also, since the house is self-catering, consider just not cooking breakfast yourself — or otherwise, propose some dinner options as well to make the service complete. personally, we didn’t understand that there would be staff available 24/7 in or near the house, so the feeling of privacy that we like with self-catering houses wasn’t really there. Kitchen ustensiles are a bit basic and the house overall could do with some light Reno work. but overall, good value for money.

Nice and roomy house. Very comfortable accommodation.
The breakfast was excellent and always on time. Lisah and Christine went out of their way to make our stay an enjoyable one. Lisah was very helpful with organising new activities for us to visit and also recommending good places to eat out. The pool was cleaned every day. We felt very safe at night with a security person on site. We really had an enjoyable stay.
