The room was small but the hotel was very cute and the situation was great. We could walk everywhere and the beach was right there. Staff were very easy going and helpful.

Only location
Dust everywhere, spider nets, there wasn't even shower gel, and any glass in the room, there is only location good about it

Great location, staff was amazing
Because of the location it was a bit noisy at night but it is not a problem if you are not a light sleeper

Excellent location with a view of the sea. The staff was communicative before our arrival and helpful during our stay.

location was good
Air Conditioning that was advertised - did not work the first night. staff were unable to repair till next day. No apology- no compensation - slept with windows open- noisy

Charming old world feel in a beautiful Riviera setting right on the Promenade.
Just be aware there is no elevator if that is a concern. Only 2 or 3 flights up depending on your room.

one of the few remaining old style small hotels in Nice. it's the sort of place. Somerset Maugham might have stayed at in the twenties.
in that part of the Promenade des Anglais there are few non-posh eateries, though there is a good breakfast place one block back.

We loved our room with unique style and beautifil sea view. The location was great, we were welcomed by a very nice and helpful man. Next time I will be in Nice I will surely return here.

Lovely old hotel full of character. Staff were helpful and friendly and allowed us to park our motorcycle in a secure area (small additional cost) rather than on the street. The rooms are simple but comfortable but it's all about the character and style.

Small, old-fashioned in positive way, right close to the Promenade des Anglais, in October the price was excelent and the weather like in July.

Excellent location opposite the beach. Polite staff.
There were no dishes in the room except plastic cups

old charm of this property & very friendly staff working there
pax should be aware that the bathroom is very compact… not a problem for me but perhaps for some slightly bigger builds

Old- school style with long windows and balustrades. Sea front location with beautiful view of the sea, palm trees from our room. A little outdoor patio.

The place is very old. Electricity goes off several times. No hot water in the shower. Pictures do not match the actual room. The plugs were broken and very dangerous for kids. The toilet was very smelly. The staff was super rude. They woke us up every morning to clean the room, shouting and telling us that the room was not going to be done if we didn't leave the room before ten. The only nice person was Antonio, but the family who owns the hotel was not friendly at all. The worse experience ever!

The family room with a sea-view was a bit tired and basic, but excellent value for is size and location. Its not right on the main promonade so the sea-view is between two buildings but on thinking about it , its probably best not to be right on the main road as its a very busy and noisy road. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Wifi was good and free, both not always the case in France. There were a few local restaurants and a good patisserie around the back, and the tram line 2 Magnan stop was a two minute walk away.
Room was a little tired, only a few sockets in the room, hard in this day and age when everyone has a mobile device to charge. Walls a bit thin so noise carried but people were generally quiet. Hot water pressure was a bit hit and miss.

The location on the Promenade des Anglais is good. The room was clean and the bed comfortable.
The bathroom was in a very poor condition, shower door hanging off and tiling not great. The breakfast which was a 9.00€ supplement was very basic

Lovely old property - difficult for elderly clients as we were on the top floor and no lift. Really nice personnel and good breakfast. Room cleaned every day. Can recommend except for people with mobility difficulties.
Prfer a ground floor room and a base nearer the centre of town.
