My cozy and comfortable “Mountain Retreat” is the most convenient housing in Helen, located just one block from Main Street & Betty's Country Store in downtown Alpine Helen. It is a short walk to the shopping area and the Oktoberfest Festhalle. Built in 2006, the condo has been kept up to date and clean. This retreat offers the conveniences of home with a fully stocked kitchen, king sized beds, flat screen TV's, DVDs, magazines, books and games for everyone to enjoy! Free Wi-Fi. First floor offers 2 bedrooms; First one is the bunk beds (full and twin on top). Perfect for the children in your group. Second bedroom is a king suite with a kitchenette and adjoining full bath. The second floor is the full kitchen, half bath, dining room, living room with large sectional sofa and screened deck with hot tub and gas grill. The third floor consists of 2 king bedrooms each with their own full bathroom and a washer and dryer for your convenience. The condo is within walking distance from: Betty's Country Store, Paul's Steakhouse, all the downtown shops and the Festhalle during Oktoberfest. It is also just minutes from Unicoi State Park, Anna Ruby Falls, Old Sautee General Store, Innsbruck Golf Course, Appalachian Trail, several wineries, Lake Burton and Lake Chatuge. Explore all of Northeast Georgia with day trips and look forward to getting back to your 'Mountain Retreat'.

Loved the townhome and location to attractions. Owner of the property was very friendly and communicated throughout our stay and answered all questions. They went above and beyond, even helped with my child’s lost stuffed animal. They located the stuffed animal in the rental and had it mailed to us out of state without hesitation. Thank you!! Highly recommended!!

This property will be our go-to from here on out. We (3-couples) come to Helen at least once a year—at less for Oktoberfest. The property is exactly as described in the listing. Communication with the owner/property manager could not be better. Then there’s the location…oh-my-goodness!!! Locale if absolutely ideal!!
Looking forward to our next trip and definitely Oktoberfest ‘24!!!!!

This condo was perfect for our group on 6 friends. The location cannot be beat, we walked everywhere. It is quiet, comfortable, and the communication with the property manager was quick and efficient. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was great but the Wi-Fi did not work we did not get the door code, when we received, the code, over the phone it was the wrong code and that took awhile to get sorted out. When speaking with the owner he was very nice and accommodating. Great location and house was very clean.

The unit was very clean and roomy! King size beds were comfortable. Great location, within walking distance to the main attractions and restaurants. Will definitely try to rent this unit for any return trips to Helen.

Great, clean property with plenty of room to spread out. Well stocked kitchen and had everything we needed to enjoy. Walking distance to everything and the local market was right across the street. The hosts were awesome, super friendly. We will definitely look to book this home when we return!

This was a great property. Very clean, plenty of room, and close to everything. We had 7 people stay here and it was great! We were able to walk everywhere, play games in the condo, and get everything that we need or forgot from Betty’s across the street. Great place!

We enjoyed staying here. It is close and we walked where ever we needed to go. The condo was clean and spacious. Instructions for the hot tub and tv were easily followed ( and much appreciated). We will probably stay again here in the future.

Restaurants we galore within a block! Downtown shopping is two blocks. The arcade and fun center is three. The condo is well maintained and nicely decorated. The hot tub was great! We watched the snow come down while we soaked. The best part for us was the separation. There are three beds downstairs with a mini kitchen and table and chairs. They living area is on the middle floor. Two kings are upstairs. We were able to keep some distance from the kids staying up late and being restless. Great communication from the owner. If we bring the whole family group again, we will definitely book this place!

This house is adorable! Location was perfect. We loved the hot tub. This house was very clean. The owners could not have been anymore responsive and were so wonderful in working with us when we had to reschedule our original dates at the last minute.
We are already looking for dates for our next girls trip!

Very wonderful location, easy walk to activities in town. We had a small issue with the heat and the manager had someone out to check on it within a few hours! Highly recommend. Kitchen could use a can opener and a couple other small things, but had the majority of what anyone would need to make meals. We have already talked about coming back!
