Thank you Admiral hotel

We only had one night but we loved admiral. I came sick from Ethiopia and the lady at the reception was so nice,called the doctor for me and arranged us to get our room very quickly. Our room was very nice and clean and the location is the best. Thank you

Glorious hotel

Upon check-in we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a larger, sea-view room - what a treat! This is a fantastic hotel - stylish decor, super-modern, clean, very peaceful - great view if you can get one. Lovely staff, nice bar open late, and the location is spot on - 5mins nice stroll from Nyhavn, main square, nearest metro stop.

Renovations take a bit of the shine off what will be a great place to stay.

The proximity to Nyhavn. The nature, character and history of the building and rooms. Staff were friendly and attentive on the few times that we relied on them and the rooms were quirky yet modern.

It’s a tough one. The renovations in their own right did not affect our stay per se. But the temporary and chaotic nature of everything on the ground floor is evident. We were aware of the renovations and disruptions prior to our stay And debated whether to look elsewhere. Overall they did the best they could given the major changes being made. We did not experience any noise from the renovations.

Excellent location, beautiful hotel

Excellent location, modern renovations and the rooms were beautiful! Very clean and well set up. Bathroom was spacious and beautifully presented. View to the water. Was just beautiful and walking distance to centre of town, Nyhavn and royal palace. Would definitely stay again

Only downside was they weren’t able to accommodate any early check in. This was disappointing as we had just come off a 23 hour travel journey.

Home away from home

Ease of check in, location was great, lovely interior. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. They have bikes for rent which is great to get around town. They also have sunset boats for hire. We felt at home and the water front rooms are amazing!

Beautiful city and well worth a visit. -

Location was perfect - walking distance from many of the important sites such as the palace and Little Mermaid

the third bed was a sofa bed. With this open and set up as a bed space in the living area was limited.

The light in the room was broken and the hotel staff had to be prodded several times to come. The first employee who came to see the room found that the light in the room was broken and did not follow up.

Comfortable hotel but nothing special

we were given an upgrade which was lovely as we got a sea view verses a street view. the bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. there was loads of wardrobe space. the staff were professional and helpful.

the hotel looks great on the website but in reality, the decor is a bit dull. the seats in the bar area are worn and the beautiful arches on the room floors are used as storage which ruins the aesthetic. the bar food was very disappointing. the bar area overlooks the car park.

Loved the location but early morning noise on the street side of the hotel woke us

We did not take the option of breakfast. We don’t eat much and at £30 per person for the buffet it was poor value. We had coffee and croissant in a local bakery at a fraction of the cost

We checked in to the hotel via their computer in the lobby. As a result it was 4 days before we engaged with a real person. Not great.
