I was not happy at all

The location of the hotel, it is closer to anemities

The shower was too small, the toilet had a leak. We waited for the Iron for 3 hrs and we missed our appointment

Our stay

We loved the warm welcome and we're happy to arrive and receive usher service in the middle of CT seeing that we have 2 minors.

We were excited to spend some time at the pool with the kids after a long warm day only to arrive at an empty hole. Please inform guests beforehand that there is currently maintenance happening. The restaurant might have to look into a kids option for lunch and dinner. We had dinner and could hardly eat with the smell of marijuana. I'm no Karen and never complain but that was hectic and I feel that management can do something about the person standing in front of the door smoking a massive joint. The Aircon wasn't working. My husband luckily figured out that it was completely frozen and had to heat it before using the cold option. I asked for a cot which was confirmed with my booking but none was provided. At that stage we just wanted to relax and unwind after a long day of travel. The room selected said bath and shower but it only had a shower. Thank you to the person bringing a plastic tub for my baby to bath in. The biggest let down was the noise. The music went on for hours making it impossible to sleep and waking my baby up.

Exceptional

Clean room and friendly staff - literally just slept the night. Buffet Breakfast always a bonus!

Shower leaked, wet bathroom floor - but apart from that, no further issues.

Terrible experience and stay

Breakfast was not good , poor variety for guest who don’t eat beef or pork

Location of hotel Tv was not working in rooms Rooms did not have a view No facilities to use We were moved to another hotel due to a water leak

Definitely NOT WORTH the price!

Staff are amazing and extremely accomodating!!! Great location as it's literally on Long street and right next to the red bus office and bus stop.

Their rooms are small and when you select Rooms facing the market rather select the twin bed option as the double bed is actually quite small and build in side pedestals are far from the bed so it makes charging whilst being on your phone lying on the bed not achievable unless you've brought an extention. And then BATHROOM is EXTREMELY TINY so if you're a fuller figure person you WILL DEFINITELY STRUGGLE using the bathroom unfortunately They serve the SAME food buffet for breakfast EVEY SINGLE DAY...so if it's you've booked for a couple of days then you will not look forward to breakfast after 2/3 days The pool is actually a bath, literally so don't bother going to the pool. The gym is a complete joke so don't bother And lastly as a South African, I'm already used to hawkers and markets so had I known before booking that there's a WHOLE market full of stalls right outside the hotel - I would NOT HAVE BOOKED THERE....

It was the BEST!

The property is located at the square, had view of the market. The dining hall is toooo die for!! It’s modern with the luxurious feel. Their breakfast was just amazing!! Friendly staff… Friendliest I’ve ever come across actually!

I was on the 6th floor and it was just plain with no Art or any decor on the corridors.

The staff was so friendly and loving, the food was great. The facilities were clean. The place is central to everything.

Not too bad

Bfast never disappoint and bar setting was tops

House keeping service, receptionist not being honest and felt like we were not taken serious Pool was too small we didn't even swim!!pictures are deceiving Sauna I rate it 2 over 10 Please consider to put bar fridge in the room for our drinks I didn't like the fact that it is situated in the market place

Reception staff and others didnt have much info about the area around them and didnt try to be helpful. A simple question was ‘which side if the hotel was shortmarket street?’ Couldnt grt an answer

Very good

The free breakfast is amazing. Always had power during load shedding. The staff are very friendly.

The aircon in my room was broken, then moved me to another room where the hot water stopped working until they fixed it somehow.

People working here, security, clean, beautiful bar, location, big room

No parking, little breakfast choices, broken aircon? It was unbearably hott, thin glass windows(noise), no hair conditioner, no minibar

Good value

Central location was good, breakfast was a good spread with slight variation every day, the beds were comfy.

Bathroom door, hard to get in/out of the bathroom. Couple of days they ran out of fresh towels. One night there was live music on the square in front of the hotel so it was impossible to sleep.

Having first stayed in the hotel in 1995, the he high standard has continued under Onomo.

Friendly and helpful staff.

It was first visit to the hotel since December 2019, because of Covid19, and consequently I was a little apprehensive. However, the hotel has kept to the very high standards it has set in past and my stay has been superb.
