Very welcoming and friendly clean place to stay breakfast was very good we really enjoyed it .

The hosts was very welcoming room was lovely and clean only thing I would of liked was a bigger bed but other that that a very pleasant stay

We had a nice stay here… loved the hot breakfast and the recommendations by the hosts. Great location.

Great location- right opposite the main tourist attractions. Good breakfast provided and the elderly couple were pleasant and hospitable.

The room room was a bit small and the water from the bathrooms made a lot of noise.

We had a wonderful time.

Breakfast was first class. Hosts friendly, couldn't do enough to make our stay perfect , even gave us cake and chocolate as it was a birthday treat.

Excellent value for money

Apart from initial confusion in finding the property - everything was excellent Lovely addition of chocs & Pringles along with usual refreshments

Signpost needs to be put up to ease finding location & house no changed from 37 to 38

A lovely stay.

Lesley was the best hostess ever. Comfortable room, great bathroom with a huge shower. The extras (which we didn't use) made our stay. Lovely breakfast in a homely environment. A short walk to everything and on your doorstep.

Quiet location in the heart of everything

We were given the room we requested with a large walk in shower, so pleased with the room, we had off street parking which was another big bonus, couldn't have been happier, breakfast was good freshly cooked and hot, it was a different setup to what we are used to, eating in the kitchen along side other guests but it worked really well and enjoyed our chats with the hosts Pete and Lesley and the other guests. The location was perfect, quiet yet within easy reach of everything Bourton on the Water has to offer would have no hesitation in going back to stay if we are back in the area.

Quiet oasis

Just a couple of blocks from the hustle and bustle from town, yet a world away in terms of how quiet it was. Run by a lovely and very attentive couple. Breakfast was great, place was clean, and very comfy. Bathroom was spacious. Highly recommend.

Feels like being in granny’s home! The owners are such a lovely couple that makes you feel very welcome.

Location is perfect! Walking distance for everything around Bourton.

Disappointing

Location to the village and off street parking.

We spoke to the owners regarding the bed during our stay, they informed us the bed wasn’t too old. They seemed to think unfortunately it was just our mattress and that it was faulty, but having not slept very well for 3 nights it was poor excuse as this issue has been brought up before. Any slight movements caused loud squeaking noises from the bed base. The mattress unfortunately was a poor quality spring mattress with cheap bedding and pillows. It appeared that breakfast was pre cooked and kept warm till it was served. We sent a message giving our ETA and was left standing in the street for 15 minutes as owners had gone out and were not home. Certainly there seems a lot that can be improved as our rate was £130 a night.

The perfect bnb

The location was perfect, with free off street parking, the bedroom was nice, clean and cozy, complete with everything one would need. But the thing that puts this place over the top is the hosts. Pete and Lesley make you feel at home, their hot breakfast is a must. The perfect place to discover the Cotswolds.

It was perfect from start to finish, didn’t want to leave!

Lesley and Pete were the best hosts ever. Could not have been more welcoming or helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Best breakfast you could ask for. So close to centre.

Staying in a local B&B was a wonderful way to experience this beautiful village.

The room was very comfortable with a bright and modern bathroom. We felt welcomed by Leslie when we arrived. It’s an easy walk along the river into the central area. Breakfast was excellent.

Location is perfect, very close to the centre. Fantastic host! Pete and Lesley so hospitable. We even got a bottle of wine when we checked out. Delicious breakfast.

Very good

We were really well looked after by Pete and Lesley, especially the breakfast! And at a time to suit us. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The location was brilliant, just a short walk from restaurants and other facilities and the beautiful river setting. We really enjoyed our stay.
