the best hotel on Lake Como

amazing decor. has been refurbished to an exceptional level throughout. the service is amazing - staff can’t do enough for you and have a very personal touch. breakfast was the best we’ve had all trip and the vista looking out onto the lake is unrivalled

no iron in room and have to pay for ironing as a result

Impressive, lovely hotel and great experience! Highly recommended!

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in! The building and the gardens are beautiful, and it's just in front of the lake, which just adds magic to the overall experience. The staff, from the reception, to the restaurant and spa area, they're all amazing. When we arrived, we were offered the opportunity to check the room before settling in and we were offered the upgrade from a junior suite to a bigger suite with a balcony, since we were really hoping to have one. The room (actually, rooms, since we visited the other one as well) was amazing! Very spacious, very modern, clean, and high tech. You can control the blinds and lights from LCD panels, the bathroom is awesome and the bed was so, so comfortable (we slept extremely well!)! The pool was amazing, and the indoor spa also worth a visit (we had a great time there, especially one day, when it rained for hours and we felt like staying at the hotel). And, once again, everything feels new, clean and modern. The breakfast buffet was also very, very good, with different options from the basic buffets you usually find at other hotels; I especially appreciated the fruit, very fresh and well chosen. We were extremely pleased with our stay and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying at the Como Lake region. You can hire a boat from the hotel, but there's also the public port nearby if you want to go to Bellagio or Varenna, for example. There are also some restaurants nearby (but not a lot, some are just cafés or bistros with light snacks, but not appropriate for dinner), but you always have the hotel's restaurant if you prefer (we asked for room-service once, and the food was very good). A 5-stars hotel that definitely looks and feels like it. Very well impressed and we would certainly come back! 👌

Beautifully newly renovated small hotel. beautiful modern rooms with exceptional Bathrooms with amazing stone work and great high quality fixtures , nice pool area, great gym, very warm and attentive staff. Menaggio is a nice little town

the super strong smell from the artisanal diffuser… maybe it’s my taste but something light and citrus perhaps??? Also, they need to bring some bigger trees and shrubbery to screen off the residential homes in the back of pool. not something you want to be looking at while lounging by pool with a cocktail. for now just turn your chaise!

The best way to experience Lake Como.

The location and hotel itself are absolutely stunning. It is one of the more expensive hotels in the region but it so worth the money. The views from the garden rooms are just as good as the lake views and the staff offered excellent, friendly service. The spa is simply incredible, easily the best spa facilities I have experienced.

Location, super friendly staff, spacious room, amazing hotel & SPA, Easy walk to ferry station, local shops & restaurants. We will stay here again.

Dinning options are ok but not 5-start great for the uber-high prices (8 out of 10). For dinner we recommend trying other in-town options. No iron available, hotel cleaning service is the only option.

Beautiful design, attentive staff, great breakfast

The room scent, which is used in the hallway and the rooms, was so strong that it caused us allergies and we had the worst night of our lives so we left the hotel a day earlier. The staff checked the situation, tried to clean the room (which did not help) and offered us another room. But we did not want to change, when we came from dinner, since we were tiered and the next morning the allergy was so bad, that we decided to leave. I can imagine that some people like the scent, but please consider that it can cause people to suffer.

I stayed only for one night, but definitely a wonderful place to spend a long weekend.

Great location with view over Lake Como. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Large and quiet room, complimentary parking. Good food at the Lago restaurant.
