A very comfortable stay.

Helpful and welcoming at reception. We had a hire car and they organised us into a space in front of the hotel in their street parking bay. The room was spotless, beds comfortable and there was a tasty range of foods for breakfast. And it was only about 5 minutes walk to the entrance to Petra. We definitely recommend this hotel.

Everything was perfect. We could park our hired car in front of the hotel, Petra's visitors centre is very close (3 minutes walk), breakfast and dinner was excellent, bed comfortable, room quiet, everything you need in the bathroom, staff very nice and helpful.

Nothing to complaint about :-)

Perfect location to go to Petra

Location was great. It was only a few minute walk to the entrance of Petra. We were in one of the newer rooms which was very nice. We were fortunate we didn’t have to drive to Petra as parking looked quite full when we finished.

The food was not great. Breakfast was included and it was ok. The Buffett dinner was not so good; we opted to eat at another restaurant our other night.

2 min walk from the entrance to Petra. good buffet breakfast. excellent value compared to others in the location. free parking right in front of the hotel (off peak in February)

We love the hotel. The staff are very friendly and they also do their best to make tou feel as much welcome as possible. The reception man arrange for us a turkish bath that was fantastic - super recommend after a day visiting Petra. They are situated some meters from the main entrance - and yes its a very nice position after a day walking you easy get to the hotel (my kids couldn't walk any further), so for us is a real plus!!! 😊 If you like they also offer a nice buffet dinner.

AC was working on heat during winter. It is close to Petra visitor center. The breakfast was varied and good. The owner was receptive and gave what we requested (a quiet room).

Although the AC was working on heat...it only works when you're in the room. So, during winter, that's not pleasant. You come from a 16 km hike in Petra to a freezing room.

Free upgrade of rooms. Clean rooms, decent stay, good prices. Decent breakfast, you get all the advice you need from them. If you need a confortable room after a long day of walking in Petra, this hotel will be a very verygood choice.

I recommend staying in Sunset hotel, because of the location and the staff and the breakfast is so good.

the staff was really friendly and helpful. and there is a smart Tv in the room. I watched Netflix 😄 the breakfast is so good.

the room is too big and there is a big empty space between the bed and the TV.

Great place 3 min walking from Petra entrance

Great place few minutes walking from Petra’s visitor centre. Staff is very friendly and helped with all we needed. Breakfast and dinner with good choice of local food. Recommended

Everything!!! Location is superb. Less than five minutes from the entrance to Petra. Hotel is modern and clean. Wifi is strong everywhere in the hotel. Rooms are big and so is the bathroom. The staff are all very helpful and friendly with any questions. Breakfast was tasty and filing with a variety of options every morning. Loved our stay.

Okay. Parking might be better. There isn't any dedicated parking lot so you have to park on the street. We were able to find it easily but I can imagine guest unable to find parking when Petra is busier.

An amazing stay at the Sunset Hotel

We loved our stay in the Sunset Hotel ! The personnel was very kind and helpful, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is great, lots of different options. And the hotel is located litteraly 5mns from the Petra visitors' center, which is totally ideal. We will come back for sure at the Sunset Hotel in case of another trip to Petra !

Normal stay, just what you need.

By far the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed at from the top to the bottom. Great location, near everything, no uphill, especially after returning from Petra, its just a flat 400m or less. Breakfast was good.

Very good

The otel is located few minutes walling from Petra Visitor Centre, the room was clean and spacious. I parked the car in front of the hotel for free. The food was very tasty and the personnel of the hotel polite.

Great value for money only a short walk from Petra.

Friendly staff who spoke good English. Excellent location just a short walk from Petra's visitor center (entrance). Many restaurants nearby. Nice buffet breakfast, and optional buffet dinner for an excellent price including drinks and desserts. Would definitely recommend.

It would be nice to have blackout curtains.

Perfect location with great service.

the location to Petra was great. the service was really nice, they gave us a room just to shower even though we had already checked out.

A great option by the Petra entrance.

A good value, fantastically located option for Petra! It's so close to the entrance, so ideal if you want an early start.

Excellent location, attentive staff, comfortable, would stay again!

Great location around 10 mins walk from the bus stop, the hosts were amazing and always there so you never felt left alone. The food buffet was better than the 5 stars that i've had at other hotels, i literally ate everything, the variety was great. I loved the little tea and coffee section after and i enjoyed the morning breakfast too. The chef recognised me and made me extra eggs. The hotel arranged a hamam for me one evening. The room was perfect, full aircon, bathroom was good, beds were comfy. Honestly so worth the money, i would have paid more.

i liked everything. There wasn't a single thing that upset me on my stay.

Everything was perfect. We had already realized Jordanians are very kind, but the staff went the extra mile to make us feel at home, i can't emphasize it enough. We arrived late the first night and they had a huge (seriously huge) dinner prepared for us, all home cooked delicious food. The hotel is very clean and in excellent condition. To make it even better, it is just about 2min walk from Petra visitor center. Also you can park your car right in front of the hotel. Best place you can choose for your stay in Wadi Musa!
