Great location, staff are friendly and helpful, pool is amazing and bed was very comfortable.

We had room access to the pool which was great. Highly recommend. Great location and bed was super comfortable. I liked the design of the room.

Room was a little small, no where to put suitcases.

OK, but wait for the renovations to finish.

Great location within walking distance to most of the sights. Good restaurant downstairs. Pool clean and refreshing.

Rooms are a bit "tired", lightbulbs blown, shower didn't stay in position. Much needed renovation taking place so a lot of work noise from 10-6pm, no opportunity for a quiet relax at lunch. Mattress was deformed, we kept rolling to the edge.

An acceptable hotel

Staff were professional and friendly and we loved that Clarke Quay had many choices of restaurants for dinner overlooking the river.

An Asian restaurant in the lobby which was only restaurant close by for breakfast. We do not like Asian food for breakfast so we walked 3 or 3 blocks to a mall near Chinatown to buy KFC breakfasts. Even immediately across the street at Clarke Quay where there are dozens of restaurants and a mall, there was nothing open before about 11 a.m. Considering the heat, the lack of a western breakfast location nearby was a real negative. Hotel reception staff told us there'd be restaurants in the mall across the street but mall staff told us there was not and we had to walk in the heat to find this out.

Pleasant but a little disappointed with the room.

Location was excellent. Shopping mall and food outlets nearby as well as easy access to Clarke Quay. House keeping staff and concierge were very helpful.

Rooms were very ‘tired’ and no privacy with the shower room/toilet layout. We were not aware of the renovations taking place until well after we made our booking

1st time staying here and really enjoyed it. The hotel was in a great location. Would definitely recommend!

Nice hotel which is affordable in Singapore

Pool and gym facilities were great, clean, good size, lots of beds, varied equipment and complementary towels. Rooms were good sized and well layed out. Beds were comfortable and we had a nice view. All staff were nice and accomodating.

There was only one thing I didn't like and that was being charged for a bucket of ice which I thought was a bit cheeky.

Decent hotel, very pleasant and helpful staff though a bit on the pricey side.

Pretty decent room albeit a little on the small side. Everything worked ok. Shower was good as was the aircon and the WiFi. Staff were very helpful and even let us use their poolside shower facilities later in the day well after we had checked out which was nice, especially given our lengthy journey home. Generally pretty quiet as well.

Room could have been a bit larger (nowhere to stow my main bag) and some extra storage for clothing would have been welcome. My room overlooked the pool, which could get a little noisy when kids were playing. At over 150 quid a night (bed only) was a bit on the pricey side, but then everything in Singapore is hellishly expensive.

It’s good for location but unfortunately I will not return to stay.

Location was excellent and it has many necessary components to make it a good place to stay in.

The toilet drain smells terrible and we had to put a plastic sheet to cover it to stop the smell! Also the way the room was designed made it horrible for coming out of the shower to get dressed, no privacy at all. The design of the swing doors made it very uncomfortable and cramped feeling. Room was too small it felt cramped. There was dust in a lot of places too due to room being old and dark.

Good hotel close to all the sites in Singapore

Good location with close metro station and good facilities. Clean and comfortable room.

The room was quite small making and when had baggage in left little room to move around.

Great location for Clarke Quay & Chinatown, breakfast could be better.

The room was excellent and cleaned daily, view was OK with good seating for looking out of the window. Location was excellent for Clarke Quay and Chinatown, 2 minute walk to the MRT.

Breakfast was a little lacking for the price, fresher meals and more choices would be better. The sauteed mushrooms were excellent though. Very expensive canned beer in the bar/restaurant (except for happy hour until 7pm), no bar service in the late evenings.

Superb

Clean and comfortable. The pool view was lovely and the pool is a welcome respite from walking around the city (yes we walked to most places). The coffee shop PUNCH about 100 metres away is amazing and across the road is Clarke Quay, so many options for late night dinner and walks

All good. The only strange thing is be aware that reception is on the 3rd floor.

Little oasis near Clarke Quay

Location and easy access to two MTR lines fantastic, allows easy moment around the City. Breakfast staff were always friendly and polite. Food options okay. Pool sensational, needed for relaxing after a hot day exploring.

Breakfast options okay. Would be nice to have more traditional food choices. Layout of actual room and openness of bathroom. Odour from drainage and water pressure is sometimes uncomfortable.

Well located hotel on Merchant Road and good rooms.

Well located hotel opposite Clarke Quay. Pool, gym onsite. Welcoming reception and great view from room of Clarke Quay.

Found breakfast area cramped as difficult to move chairs to rise without bumping the guests behind. Seats were allocated by hostess. Not all food was hot eg. Hash browns. and bacon. Limited fruit selection. Liked the salmon at breakfast.

The staff were ever so friendly, the place was absolutely amazing, clean and just so welcoming. Perfect location. I would definitely come again.

There needs to be more vegetarian varieties for breakfast and label for allergies and veg and non veg items. No Cross contamination as this was witnessed and prevented me from eating certain items.

The room and the bathrooms comfort was bad . Staying with family with kids is bit awkward. Also the bed was not great comfortable.

Great accommodation close to everything.

Room was as expected size wise and was clean and comfortable. Great location close to public transport and Clarke Quay and the river walk. Definitely a good location if you want to stay close into Singapore and see the sights for a few days.
