Superb

Excellent 5* hotel in a nice part of La Paz, right near cable car terminal if you need to get anywhere. Huge comfortable rooms.

Reception staff messed up booking.com reservations and are somewhat inflexible and inefficient

Great hotel with friendly staff

The room was very comfortable, spacious and clean, it also had a really nice view. The hotel had a great restaurant with delicious food. Breakfast was great, with many options to choose from, and you could also ask the cook for omelet or scrambled eggs. The staff was very friendly and happy to help us with everything we needed. We had an awesome stay there, totally recommend staying there if you're going to La Paz.

The indoor pool could be a bit warmer, but it was a nice facility to have at the hotel. The location was also a bit far from the city center, but closer to other attractions, such as the Valle de la Luna which we really wanted to visit, and also close to the teleférico station, so it made up for the distance to the city center.

great stay, great location

great location close to cable car to get into city. quiet neighbourhood but great restaurants and shops on your doorstep. All staff very friendly & helpful, food is the restaurant was lovely and very reasonable ( 3 starters, 4 mains & 2 bottles of wine) worked out about £68.

Very bad

They didnt give us the crib I requested and they CONFIRMED (see attached photo) after I complained and spent more than an hour calling back and forth (the receptionist said: “we will call you back” but never actually did) they finally sent someone to put the crib, at 1 am! you can see the photo oc their staff asking for us to wait while the 1yo was still awake since he is used to sleep in a crib or else he could fall from the bed as he was traveling only with his father. The next day, when I enter this room, it was cold freezing. The conditioned air didn’t work in the family room, during the whole and only night we were spending there. My parents and my little niece spent an awful night, freezing, it was worse than staying at a 3 stars hotel or a cheap AirBnb. Shame on the people who manage this bussiness.

Large rooms, excellent service, fantastic spa and fitness center. the property location is very close to great food and coffee shops.

Not a 5 star hotel anymore.

The extra charges were fixed. The sauna and gym were great.

it’s not the same camino real suites I knew over 8 years ago. The rotation on the breakfast foods was KETCHUP SLOW. The rooms were so freakingly cold (the heating system was poor). The shower had almost no pressure and after 10 am the water was cold. There restaurant food was really bad. For the price, the hotel actually felt 3 stars at the most. The staff made two mistakes on extra charges (1 extra night and charges the laundry twice).

Lovely hotel

Great hotel, lovely and kind staff. Awesome breakfast. The rooms are huge with a great view. The bed is comfortable, the shower has great water pressure. The location is perfect, close to the green line teleférico. Everything was great, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Nice La Paz stay with mountains views

The Royal Suite on the top floor is spacious with two large TV sets and a well-appointed bedroom with a nice spa bath. It has also a nice view of the city and its surrounding mountains.

There seems to be a lack of communication between booking.com and the hotel since the reception desk was not aware of my approved request for a late checkout. Also, the room service at night did a poor job in providing some french fries (not well fried at all).

Pleasant

Staff very friendly and nice. Everyone was very helpful and polite. The hotel is nice. They had a small meeting room where I could go and work a little as my husband rested in the room.

We where in La Paz during winter but the room was ridiculously hot. The heating can’t be controlled from each room so we asked them to disable it in our room. However due to the sun beating the huge windows all day the room never got cooler. There was an AC in the room that didn’t work. We requested front desk to send someone to take a look but they where only able to turn heater off in the room.
