Situated in Point Clear, this attractive house for $227 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. What makes this property special. The reasons are; the owners do not live on or adjacent to the property, location, beds, TV area, very fast WiFi. Firstly, I would say around 80% of short term rentals rentals have the owners who live on the property or right next to it. We are neither. You dont have to feel like you are being watched over. Location! The cottage is just mintues from Downtown Fairhope and the Grand Hotel, but you feel like you are in the country. Big backyard, large privacy fences on both sides. Behind the cottage is a horse field, there is an empty lot to the East of us, and the lot on the other side is a nice couple. Across the street is a wooded area that is part of the Point Clear Tennis Club and Char 32 restaurant. I love a good TV watching area! The cottage has this. Nice couch, Dish Network, and enough seating for the family. Alot of rentals have TV mounted up high on the wall. Our TV is mounted on the wall at eye level, so you are not straining your neck just to watch a show. After a long day of playing, it nice to come back and watch a good show or movie. The cottage has powerful interent, so if you stream your favorite show, there is no buffering. An important part of the VRBO experience is the beds. The cottage has king size beds in two of the rooms; and they are very comfortable. And Lastly, fast WiFi. The cottage has extremely fast Wifi- around 400mpbs! After that long day of playing hard, if you dont want to go out to eat, the kitchen has everything you need. All of the essentials. Even a gas range. A beverage and light snack will be waiting on you at the cottage upon arrival. Coffee and creamer provided. New washer and gas dryer recently added (Oct 2022). This comes in handy for our long term guests. Are you in town for a wedding or event and have 5 people needing a shower to get ready? The cottage has a new oversized gas water heater to provide plenty of hot water(cold showers are the worst). Great internet speeds. I have tested different carries, and have found the best one for this property. The internet has plenty of power and speed. The Grand hotel is 4min away! The Gulf is only 42min. Downtown Fairhope is a 7min. Lets just get this out of the way..cleanliness. This is what is on everyones mind, with good reason. We have high expectations to provide our guests a clean place to stay. Along with washing the regular stuff like sheets and towels, we wash bedspreads and blankets. We also sanitize all surfaces multiple times. A house that sleeps 5 is the magic number. Not to big or too small... Just what the average family needs. Large kitchen table to fit the whole family. This modest house was built in the early 80's. It is nestled in a neighborhood of grand estates and small houses. Fine dinning restaurant, Char 32, is within walking distance across the street in the Point Clear Tennis Club. One of my favorite things is to get at Char 32 is their beef tip appetizer and bring it back to the cottage....it is so good. Brand new Publix grocery store is less than five minutes away. No stop lights on the way to Publix(as you can see, I am not a fan of stop lights). This is one of the nicest Publix I have been in. Our reservation setting is on "Instant Book" , which means if you meet the requirements of VRBO, you can book without approval. If you dont have at least one established "guest review", you are required to submit an "inquiry" to make the reservation for approval. This gives us the opportunity to help first timers know what to expect before booking.
