Hospedaje bueno

La relación precio calidad, está en un barrio donde se puede caminar y es accesible. Habitaciones cómodas con baño privado.

Que no acepta tarjeta de crédito, no te lo comentan . Para ser un hostal no tienen agua sin gas disponible

Precio justo para un lugar respetable

Las habitaciones no son muy grandes, pero suficientes. Al menos la nuestra, tenía una pequeña cocina que te servía para preparar el desayuno.

No había cortinas para impedir que el sol entrase a primera hora de la mañana.

Uns hat niemand die Tür geöffnet nach langem Klingeln, sogar die Nachbarn haben versucht den Gastgeber zu erreichen ohne Erfolg. Wir mussten uns schließlich ein anderes Hotel spontan suchen

No fue una buena instancia. No volvería al sitio. No es recomendable.

Lo único bueno del lugar es su ubicación.

Me disgustaron muchas cosas: la Atencion del personal es pésima, no son amables, de los 3 días que estuvimos nunca entraron a asear la habitación.

Great location ,simple rooms

Hostal Dona Eliza has great location if you are looking to explore town. Rooms are simple, it looks nicer in the photos. But it has good shower with hot water. Owners are friendly.

- Nice location in La Candelaria - Beautiful entrance area - Hot water in the shower

- After checking in there was no staff available at all - Room No. 4 was cold, humid, moldy and water was dripping from the ceiling during rain - There was a lot of mold in the bathroom - The common kitchen was okay, but the fridge wasn't clean and smelled - the bedsheets weren't clean, the blanket was a makeshift of several old (partly damaged) blankets There was only a small window which could be slid open, but the glass edges were very sharp - the only light switch is at the door, so we had to find a way around the wet floor (and a bucket we put under the dripping) to the bed in the dark - I informed the Hostel about the dripping ceiling - no response. We requested a checkout after one night (instead of two) due to the dripping in the room and the mold - no response - after I contacted the booking customer service the Hostel claimed they had compensated me in cash already, which is simply a lie. We even had to give the room key to the janitor, as no staff was at the hostel at any time - After the one night in the room all our belongings were damp and smelly

Very good

Nice place close to almost everything in Candelaria. The street is quiet at night, very comfortable for one person - but due to door and walls not being soundproof I would pick some other place to stay with my wife. But me personally didn't feel bothered by the sounds from other rooms. The hot water pressure is great and this is notable since it is not common for small hotels in Bogota

I woulnd't mind to have a carpet on the floor as well. There was only the small one in the bathroom. Sometimes it is really cold in Bogota, you know)

Very good

We stayed before our flight out of Bogotá and this was just what we needed, good value, clean, comfortable. Good location in centre of la candelaria.

Reception is not 24hrs, have to check-in within certain hours or you have to pay extra. Luckily we were within the required hours but something to keep in mind!

Price & Location

After check-out we were not allowed to keep the bags stored longer than 4:00 PM, while we had a flight in the evening 11PM. There was no specific reason given. Additionally, when we came back to pick up our bags we were also not allowed to use the public toilet because we were not a guest anymore..? Staff was not very helpful or friendly and unfortunately could not speak English very well.

Hostile atmosphere couldn't wait to leave to somewhere welcoming

Location

Unfriendly caustic selfish staff who make noise outside your room as though it's perfectly OK. No curtains in the windows so you get woken super early and every time someone passes your room after dark, the light in the corridor comes on and lights up the room. Bathroom very small and absolutely nowhere to hang a towel or put anything Clearly a place where no one cares if you have a decent place to rest. The way the ignorant staff speak to you.

Not sure why you'd work in hospitality if you're this rude to your customers. Their welcome email says you can leave your bags before check-in time but they made me feel awkward for doing so. I got reminded several times of check-out time, as if they were worried I'd overstay. The bed linen is cheap and rather uncomfortable, and i found hair on the bed. The towel was worn out and thin, but I was accused of stealing it on my way out. Overall an uncomfortable experience.

Good place, excellent location.

The hostel is in an excellent location. The room was simple but clean. Maybe the closeness to the kitchen was sometimes bothersome but nothing particularly annoying. The staff was very nice and kind. I definitely recommend this place.

Maybe a little bedside table lamp would be nice to add.

Disappointing

The bed was very comfortable and the area is super nice! Located very good.

The stuff wasnt nice...we arrived at 11pm and we wait 20 minutes until they opened the door for us xause we asked from someone in the street to call them. And when he opened the door it felt like we need to say sorry for come there. The room Not like in the pictures..very small and claustrophobic room. Super cold at night..no AC or something to get warm.

Excellent place and will recommend.

Place was safe with locks and security cameras and the location is right in front of a university where a 24 hour front security guard is always present. Walking distance to the Bolívar square and all restaurants, markets, coffee shops. Room was bit small but clean and a good value for money. Staff Sandra and Jose are amazing and very helpful (despite my complete lack of Spanish we communicated using google translate.) Laundry service is available on site. Wifi internet connection is excellent. Had lot of work meetings with no issues. Small but Clean bathroom.

Some kind of unknown buzzer noise/ sound at night but I got used to it. Not a big deal. Not sure if it came from inside or outside the hotel. Other than it is a quiet place.

Cold, wet, dark and smelly room with lots of MOLD in it! Water dripping from the ceiling in our room. The Boss wasn’t very chatty or welcoming. (but staff was nice)

Tiny bathroom, cold rooms, very rude staff. We had to go to a cafe and wait as no one was there to check us in at 3pm on check in day. No apology were given.

Quiet place in the heart of La Candelaria

Excellent location in the heart of La Candelaria, but very quiet and calm, to the contrary of most accommodation options in the same area. Comfortable bed and warm room, something important as this can be a nuisance in Bogota, especially in old buildings. Hot shower and very cute room. The staff was neutral, but they let us leave our baggage there after the check-out - although until 5pm. Generally a very good option and a good value for money if you're looking for a nice place to rest. Strong wi-fi as well!

After 9 o'clock there are no options for food in the area. The room was next to the kitchen and there was some noise by a single guy who came to prepare his meal around midnight. We asked him to be quiet and there was no problem though. Keep in mind that if you arrive for the check-in after 9pm there is an extra charge. No common areas to chill if you're into meeting new people.

Excellent value budget comfortable boutique feel stay in the heart of La Candelaria, Bogota.

We stayed 2 nights and really loved the hotel. Its so pretty with original character of La Candelaria area in Bogota. The room was clean and nice. really good value. the Staff reserved yet friendly. It's more of a value boutique style hotel versus a hostel. We had nice hot water showers as Bogota is cold especially at night. The hotel felt secure and safe. It was nice and quiet and had a shared kitchen with fridge and basic utensils. We could drink the tap water., and the Wifi worked well in our room, and we had fresh towels, hangers and a small cupboard, soap and shampoo. We had an upstairs room with nice wooden beams, with a view over the courtyard. it was cold at night, but our host kindly provided additional blanket. the Location was Excellent, conveniently located to all things in La Candelaria, museums, restaurants, bars, convenience stores. We are staying again!

it was great and we will stay again. only slight improvements would be to have fresher cleaning sponge and towel in the shared kitchen. maybe a space heater in the room as its cold at night, and a bedside lamp. for future guests, better signage outside with the name of the hotel would be helpful, as its a little difficult to find. On bookings.com - follow the pictures as the address is "10-53" not 1053 as noted in the booking confirmation. Also to note that on Google maps and Uber you can only find the hotel under the name "hotel Dona Eliza" and not "hostel Dona Eliza".

Highly recommended.

Location was great! In the heart of La Candelaria but quiet during the night. Spotless cleaniness. Hot shower. Safety of the area and property itself. We could leave our luggage after checking out.

Be aware there are many stairs up to reach certain rooms. Difficult with large prices of luggage. Kitchen is poorly equipped and no kattle available. Depending on room location, limited natural light (if this matter to you)

We had a nice room with a very comfortable bed and a hot shower. We slept very well here! Also it looks nice and the location was perfect, close to everything.
