Location excellent. Decor and style amazing. Very clean
Very hot especially on bedroom floors. Fans provided but 1 didn’t work and 1 very noisy.

The location of the property is excellent. Such a beautiful property and location. The hosts have been excellent, really helpful and offered great advice. The property itself is beautifully appointed, large and clean. We couldn't have asked for more.
We really struggled to book a taxi to and from the airport and decided to hire a car in the end - this was the best decision we could have made, we visited some beautiful locations that really made our holiday. Car parking was free and local to the property.
nothing - this is one of the few holidays that I haven't wanted to come home from!

Beautiful character property with great facillities, and central location
Lots of stairs

The property was a sympathetically refurbished medieval house in the old part of Bergerac, surrounded by restaurants and bars and yet really quiet. The owners had included coffee tea and a bottle of wine to welcome us and a comprehensive information book. Also includes wifi. Easy stroll to the railway station/bus stop.
The spiral stairs. I tired of them.

The location was excellent and the owners had left recommendations for local restaurants, all of which were good.
It was very useful to have clothes washing facilities. Kitchen facilities were very good, too
I was surprised there was no shower soap provided or shampoo.
I’m glad I only brought a small suitcase because it would have been impossible to get a large suitcase up the steep narrow stairs. The stairs were also very noisy, disturbing anyone already asleep.

The house was very well equipped, cosy, comfortable and beautiful.
It was quite cold, but the heating made quick work to make amends.

the facilities are modern, the house is beautifully restored and decorated , the rooms. kitchen, living room, both bedrooms are large and very comfortable . the showers excellent , and of course the location is perfect, a short walk to anywhere in Bergerac.
we didn’t mind this, because we are active people with good balance, but older people should be aware that there are steep, somewhat narrow stairs to each floor. carrying luggage upstairs could be a challenge for older folks, depending on the amount of their luggage . kitchen bottom floor, living room 1st floor, master bedroom/shower 2nd floor, 2nd bedroom/shower top floor. we didn’t mind because the rooms are so luxurious .

Everything !!location, premises very clean and very good equipped. Nice renovation. As we arrived very late, the owners proposed to get us some groceries. Nice bottle of wine at arrival. I recommend

Well provisioned and recently updated medieval home in the old Quarter of Bergerac—what’s not to like? Lots of good information in a folder greeted us. Even in town it has provisions and lots of restaurants nearby. Unbelievably, we even got on street paring in a tiny (6 car) free public lot just 100 meters from the home each or our 4 nights there and larger lots are just a few minutes away.

Stunning medieval building - beautiful from eve outside and wonderfully restored and decorated inside. Large rooms on multiple floors - could easily accommodate 4-6 people. Location was honestly incredible - 5-10 min walk to anywhere in Bergerac. Very close to the river. Just stunning.
The stairs were very steep and wind around as you go up. That’s completely fine if you have no injuries and so on, but carrying large cases up and down when arriving and leaving was a little scary. anyone with a disability or an injury wouldn’t likely be able to get upstairs. It’s not a criticism - it’s an old building after all. But it’s definitely something to consider.
Aside from the building, something I wish I’d known is that getting a taxi to and from the airport is nearly impossible. We arrived having been told there were taxis “outside the terminal”. That is actually a board with numbers to call taxis. When returning to the airport, we pre-booked three taxis from three different companies (we’d been told while there that the companies are unreliable). None of the taxis showed up. We had to flag one down and ask him to call his dispatch office. We were lucky and got one - others wouldn’t be as lucky. Again, not a criticism of this property but absolutely something to flag in the advert for it or in the comms beforehand.

It was such a joy to stay in this home. It is so beautifully renovated and brought up to date with modern touches whilst remaining sympathetic to the property's history. Everything is of the highest quality - the bedsheets, towels and furniture are all superb. It was easy to communicate with the owners and enter the property via the lock box plus and the house is a perfect location, right next to the tourist office and the quay. There are plenty of helpful leaflets and guides provided in the house - the owners have been meticulous in their planning and they have thought of everything. I 100% recommend.
Older people may find the steep stairs difficult but if you are mobile then no problems.

Beautiful presented old house sympathetically modernised in the heart of old Bergerac Perfect location with all facilities and wonderful aspect We thoroughly enjoyed our stay
As in the heart of historic Bergerac there is no outside space attached to the property but the beautiful old spurred are literally on your doorstep
