So much to like. The friendly, accommodating and helpful hosts. Our room, large enough to have a sitting area, its turquoise/teal walls and accessories, our two large windows that opened onto the courtyard. A family home where they’d raised their children, the home was full of interesting things - paintings, photographs, books, all sorts of treasures. Superior (even for France) breakfasts, indoors or out, weather dependent, with freshly squeezed orange juice, warmed croissants and everything else. Meeting interesting fellow travelers during those breakfasts. Two-block walk to the bridge, across the bridge, and you’re at the entry to the medieval center of town.
On arrival, we were shocked at the appearance out front. Drab, dirty, row housing, no hotel sign, looked nothing like the photo of the place I’d booked; we kept checking, had we got the address wrong? So glad we stuck with it! Do not be deterred! Call ahead, if you can, to get directions where to park around back. Or, just drive to the back, nose in near a sliding metal gate. Walk through the gate. You will see a deep courtyard, full of plants and trees and several sitting areas. On a nice day, the big, wide kitchen and dining room doors will be wide open, effectively extending the house into the courtyard. One of our favorite stops on our 3 weeks in France.

Friendly and welcoming hosts. Didier met us to guide us to park our car outside the back garden gate. Parking is not within the property itself. Large comfortable homely room. Ample cables and plugs for charging phone/tablet. Splendid relaxing breakfast on the terrace, with home made jams. So convenient for five minute walk into town.
