Prima Hotel voor nachtje in Bergerac

We would happily stay here again!

The location, the staff, size of bedroom and bed. All really good!

The pool area needs a little love and attention. It’s a super sun trap and a lovely spot to chill but it lacks love.

A very comfortable hotel in a great location with street parking out front.

We travelled with our dog so the fact we had a balcony was a major plus. The bed was extremely comfortable. The location was great as it was a short walk to the historic centre. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Bed was comfortable

Room on road and noisy square with roadworks made sleep impossible. Asked if we could move but not possible. Reception desk was closed in the middle of the day and in the evening. Toilet and shower in tiny box rooms. Did not see the pool

Great little hotel on quiet street

Wonderful staff - helpful beyond expectations. Comfortable bed with excellent pillows. A few minutes' walk from restaurants and other Old Town attractions. Silent night.

Close to the old city center. Nice restaurants. Parking in front of the hotel. Nice swimming pool. Friendly owners.

Very good value. Clean rooms. Delightful owners.

Very friendly staff. Lovely lady welcomed me on arrival. Spoke excellent English and when I spoke French replied to my questions in French and slowly so that I could understand. Easy parking. Great location. I would definitely return.

A genuinely delightful experience!

An absolutely charming hotel in the centre of a beautiful town. The room was perfect, the aircon much needed and appreciated in the 36 degrees, and the swimming pool was so refreshing after long walks in the town. The buffet breakfast was fresh and plentiful and a great start to each morning. The guests were all lovely and friendly which added to the experience, especially the delightful Americans from Salt Lake City! The staff were faultless - welcoming, attentive and genuinely focused on making sure our stay was perfect. it was an absolute pleasure to spend three very happy days at Hotel De France. Thank you!

We appreciated very well the breakfast in the hotel. Every day many kinds of bread, cheese, and sweets, also good fruit, yoghurt etc.

Loved our visit to Bergerac, just perfect!

The location was perfect for visiting Bergerac and the surrounding area. Lots to see in town and it is so pretty with so much history. No fast food places, no 'tat' shops and plenty to see. We were recommended to use the restaurants nearest the river as they were used by the French and certainly used local produce and wines on their menu. The little artisan bakeries dotted throughout the town are well wortha visit for a breakfast pastry or cake with a freshly brewed coffee. The tourist info Quai Cyrano, by the river runs regular events and we attended the 'wine dating ' event (pairing food with local wines to a live band) and also benefitted from the festival of music and street performances being held throughout our stay.

Great location and very comfortable.

Great location. Did not have breakfast but it looked very good. Rooms are small but we had booked 2 rooms with interconnecting door so perfect for 2 friends travelling on a girlie trip. One bathroom was spacious but the other had a tiny shower and had to open door to shave my legs but it was clean etc. Probably not good value per room €197 for a 2 night stay per person but suited us perfectly. Coffee machine in room was a bonus and they were happy to replenish when we asked. Plenty of power points. Pool was nice but area looked a little neglected.

Shower was very small and could not lower the head. Needs a little updating. No safe to store passports etc No mirror in bedroom and shower mirror was set too far back. Why do hotels seldom cater for women and their hair and make up?
