mauvaise location annonce trompeuse a supprimer

y'avait pas de petit dejeuner

que le le proprio loue la deuxième chambre j'avais loue un appartement avec deux chambres et pas une chambre dans un appartement monsieur a deux appartements et il met a son bon gré des invites dans le deuxième appartement et menace de faire payer un supplément si on ne veux pas désole mais location a éviter plusieurs clients mécontent

What a dump.

Nothing. It was not what I had booked. The worst place ever.

Receiving what I had booked = apartment in a hotel. We then got an ”extra” hot, windowless room. This is neither of them. This is absolutely cheating and booking.com should not advertise this place at all! All the information given is not true. Not a beachfront, absolutely nothing is as it says in the add.

Es war sauber. Man konnte direkt das Auto vor dem Haus abstellen.

Das Zimmer war sehr hellhörig. Es ist sehr klein und es gibt keine Klimaanlage und keinen Ventilator. Das Bett hat bei jeder Bewegung laute Geräusche von sich gegeben und war unbequem. Es gibt nur spärlich kaltes Wasser, kein warmes Wasser möglich.

Okay for a quick stay, I wouldn’t stay here longer than 1 night

It was cheap and close to the airport which is what I needed as I was arriving at night, so it was just a quick stop for me before going to a nicer Airbnb further away. I liked that they gave a bottle of water for guests as we don’t always have time to go and buy some before arriving. It’s not that close to any nice beaches or shops, the location is quite industrial.

The other reviews here are right, it’s advertised as a whole apartment but actually it’s just a room in the hosts house. The Wi-Fi is very weak and doesn’t reach the rooms, I had to sit on the balcony or in the lounge to use the internet. I was offered an airport pick up but it costs more than the room I had for one night, plus it’s a very expensive cost for less than a 5 minute drive from the airport. Im sure the host did not pay the driver 2000 escudos for that (otherwise I should have paid the driver directly rather than pay the host, right?), so I think it’s quite cheeky. I’m sure a taxi in the airport would have cost either half or quarter that, but I decided to do it as I was arriving at night alone in a new city.

Bon emplacement et disponibilité

La disponibilité en last minute (un autre logement a annulé ma réservation le matin. J'ai pu avoir accès à une chambre pour poser mes sacs. J'avais mon avions dans la nuit donc je n'ai pas dormi là mais l'emplacement était très bien et la douche propre et confortable. Il y a aussi un distributeur de billets juste à côté. Toujours utile.

Malhonnête

J'avais réservé 2 dates dans cet établissement. Pour mon premier séjour dans cet établissement: - Location d'un appartement avec 2 chambres et une fois sur place, le logeur m'annonce qu'il peut louer la 2 ème chambre à un inconnu!!! Cela suite au fait que je lui annonce que je vais recevoir 2 amis dans la 2ème chambre tout en proposant un petit supplément. Le logeur m'annonce alors que je dois payer plus du double pour avoir les 2 chambres à disposition car j'ai soi-disant loué qu'une chambre alors que l'annonce stipule bien appartement 2 chambres!!! Bref!! Annonce mensongère Pour mon deuxième séjour: Le logeur annule ma réservation par message privé ( suite au quiproquo du 1 er séjour) mais il ne l'annule pas sur le site, je fais donc une demande d'annulation gratuite sans suite et sans réponse.Je réserve donc ailleurs. Et pour finir, il me fait payer l'annulation pour non présentation. Vraiment malhonnête

Awful, we wanted to get out of there.

The only decent thing was the internet connection.

The flat wasn't the same as in the photos. The address was different and the neighbourhood looked very bad. The windows didn't lock. There was no water in the bathroom tap. The water in the shower was low pressure and cold. On the last day, we woke up to no light in the flat. The bed sheets and pillows didn't smell very good. A man entered our flat late at night, without knocking, unknown to the owner of the flat, who wasn't supposed to have the key but did. We didn't feel safe in that flat.

Description needs correcting (see below) - but this is a good place to stay!

Once you've taken note of the correct description (see below), you will have an wonderful stay at Secularis Capital! The apartment could not be in a better location: in the safe embassy district of the city, and only a few minutes' walk from the lovely Prainha ("little beach") where you can relax, swim, or enjoy an evening meal at the beach restaurant. Directly opposite the apartment is a hotel where Secularis Capital guests can enjoy a discounted price at the excellent buffet breakfast. There is also a taxi rank just outside where you can hail a cab to take you to the minibus station only a few minutes' drive away. From here, you can travel by minibus to anywhere on the island. The apartment is basic, but it is clean and has everything you need. Both the owner, Carlos, and the housekeeper, Ana, are extremely accommodating. They will assist with any queries and provide anything extra you need. Their English is limited, so do remember to pack a phrasebook if you do not speak Portuguese. Carlos even arranged both exchange of currency, and a tour by car of the local area on arrival, at no extra charge. As for the other guests, I found they were very respectful when it came to sharing the kitchen and bathroom. You will get to meet some very interesting people, and everyone shares their travel tips! I doubt you'd find better value for money, and the location is perfect, so I recommend Secularis Capital - especially if this is your first visit to Cape Verde.

**Description needs correcting!** As others have noted, the description is wrong. It's advertised as a two-bedroom apartment (exclusive use), but it's actually one bedroom in a shared three-bedroom apartment. I was not the only guest who was surprised on my arrival to find I was sharing with others - two people said the same to me. To add to the confusion, there are three duplicate listings on booking.com ('Secularis Capital', 'Secularis Capital 1', and 'Secularis Capital 2'). In practice there are three apartments in the building (ground floor = owner's, middle floor = holiday apartment, top floor = currently long-term let). It should also be noted that the breakfast and pool are actually courtesy of the hotel opposite (although very good - and owner Carlos has negotiated a discount for the breakfast, so it's recommended!) I did find the mattress very hard, as some others have also noted. They are the same in all the rooms - I checked in between lettings. However, other guests I spoke to during my stay, from other European countries, were very happy and said they liked a firm mattress - so I guess it's a matter of personal preference and what you're used to in your home country. Also, if you are not used to sleeping in a hot climate, you may struggle with the lack of air conditioning: the temperature in Praia does not drop much at night. However, efficient fans are provided in each bedroom. The Wi-Fi needs an extra booster - currently there are only boosters on the top and bottom floors, not on the middle floor where the holiday apartment is, so the signal is very weak.

Pleasant

Prai is not for tourists. used it as a stop before Tarrafal. the hotel opposite Peatana Tropico saved the stay. had breakfast lunch dinner there and used pool and bar

communal areas we thought were private. owner arranged an expensive lift from airport, but then he did us a good deal for 90 min journey to tarrafal

Okay.

The owner and woman who work there are very kind. The spot is good. Between the old city and the beach.

The woman does not speak English, the owner a little bit. The beds were really hard and uncomfortable. Booking says you'll get your own bathroom but you have to share it with two other rooms. You have to hold the shower head. There is no wifi in the room, only in the common living room.

Glorious, spacious, Airy apartment

The apartment is very clean, airy and spacious with a lovely view of Farol, the Lighthouse. Very nice amenities as well. Attention to detail A plus. Excellent property that I highly recommend.
