The food was great and the staff were fantastic! We really enjoyed our stay!!!
There was a slight noise issue with the heating but nothing major and the parking behind the house was tight especially for full size trucks (example an F150 extended cab)

Absolutely gorgeous bed and breakfast with fabulous Sunday brunch. The old house and been gloriously restored and was a treat just to walk through it. The bed was incredibly comfortable with lovely linens and pillows. The staff was very friendly, gracious and accommodating. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. Lovely selection of wines and beer on tap or in bottles - 1 complimentary drink per guest. Nominal $5 fee thereafter. Was very hard to leave. Worth every penny.

The breakfasts by Chef Jared were wonderful! The entire property is a historic showcase and a joy to experience. All of the staff we interacted with were top notch. Everything met or exceeded our expectations.

Everything from the very beginning was excellent. Gorgeous location and home, super friendly and helpful staff, Tess was incredible! The bed was extremely comfortable and ever the carpets were plush and luxurious. Breakfast was delicious, and there was coffee and tea stations scattered everywhere. One was never in want of anything. Looking forward to a future visit.
Not much to put here. Everything was excellent. Maybe a small table by the bathtub to set one drink on? If I had to come up with something…

I like the period furnishings of the rooms.
The bathroom shower was in a claw foot tube that was kind of tight to maneuver in.

The home is well appointed, and is in pristine condition. Having wine and beer on tap at reasonable prices is great. The bottle of wine are very reasonable and good.
Trying to reach Double Oaks during the day is impossible except via internet. Had an issue prior to arrival, and needed desperately to speak with a person to resolve. The issue could have been resolved with one 5 minute voice call instead of email going back an forth. Again, if you need anything after breakfast hour towels, toilet paper etc, forget it! No one is around to help. Emailed specific information about breakfast. Diet restrictions and departing hours on Sunday AM to hotel well in advance of our arrival, they were never conveyed to the chef. When we arrived in the dining room at 8 AM on Sunday morning, the chef was startled, he mumbled something about a food truck, which again I had clarified prior to arrival that we would get a regular breakfast. The chef graciously accommodated our needs by fixing scrambled eggs and toast. Parking call also present it issues, with guess taking up to much space.

The Bnb is at the perfect location. The whole vintage vibe is so amazing. I can see the inntakers putting in a lot of working in keeping them in such good conditions. Also the breakfast is 10/10. Everything is just perfect.
