We had a wonderful tech free long weekend, location is awesome, bach homely and welcoming (lots of games and music) beach was wonderful. Shower and barb b need work but the scenery and experience meant that it didn’t matter.

Amazing views right across from the sea. We loved this proper kiwi Bach. A great place to walk, read, swim, and very little else. Loved it.

Apart from a couple of power cuts, resolved spontaneously. Recommend torches. And the access code for lockbox was incorrect on welcome instructions. Bachcare contacted and were able to give us the correct code. Otherwise, just what we wanted for few days away. No internet, no TV, just beachfront and fabulous sunsets !

The location was stunning. The bach made very loud noises when the wood expanded and contracted which made sleeping difficult. We were provided with 1 towel and 1 flannel for 2 people for 5 nights!!! We were assured this would be rectified but we never saw anymore towels and follow up contact was ignored. There were no bathmats or handtowels either.

Rustic, old fashion bach feel, indoor-outdoor worked well. Connection to beach and local surrounds was excellent.
