Situated in Columbus, this attractive house for $185 per night is a great choice for your next trip. “The Gathering Place” is the perfect place for your family to gather to celebrate your soldier or special occasion. It is conveniently located close to Interstate 185 and north Columbus. Shopping (Peach Tree Mall and Columbus Park Crossing) and dining is very close by. We have 3 bedrooms, all have new Beautyrest Silver mattresses, and a separate room with a futon and TV. Bathrooms are updated and feature a walk in shower in master bath and jacuzzi tub in the hall bath. Living room has 50 inch TV with fast internet and cable TV. Kitchen is ready for you to cook a special meal and a charcoal grill is available on the back covered porch. Fenced in back yard for privacy. Minutes to St. Francis hospital, Chick-fil-a, and Starbucks. For your protection, we have bed bug protection encasements on all our mattresses to prevent bed bugs!

This was the perfect spot for our family to relax while attending our son’s Ranger School graduation! The house was comfortable and clean with space for everyone (even a kids’ area with games and puzzles). The host was very responsive and worked with us as we had to change dates 3 times (Recycles…if you know, you know😁)! We will definitely rebook as needed!

Like most families we were there for our grandsons turning green ceremony celebration. Also it was Thanksgiving week. We were able to have and enjoy our families Thanksgiving dinner with some relatives that were staying in a hotel. It is truly a great “GATHERING PLACE”. Cooked and grilled as if we were at home. Sitting in the backyard and under the covered patio, laughing, taking pictures and enjoying the time with our SOLIDER. Our family liked it so well that before we left we have already booked it for our grandson’s turning blue ceremony and graduation in March 2024. Belinda was the perfect host, so informative and helpful on everything. Family from Shreveport, Louisiana.

Perfect! Will not hesitate to book again without looking if we have the opportunity to get back in the area. The other parties in our group that stayed in hotels were so jealous. Clean, accommodating, spacious, affordable, & safe. Quiet neighborhood right in between everything in the area. Excellent stay!

My husband, daughter and mother stayed at The Gathering Place this past week in order to be able to attend my son’s Turning Green and Graduation ceremonies from his Basic Training at Fort Benning. The location was perfect. It was only about a 15 minute drive to the base. There are numerous restaurants in the area. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. The house was perfect for our stay. We all slept great in our own rooms. The house is exactly as described. Everything was neat and clean and the Wi-Fi supported all our needs. This place made our experience even better, when all we wanted to do was see our new Soldier. 10/10 rating and would definitely stay here again if I was ever in the area. Thank you, Belinda, for allowing us to be your guests!

We had a fantastic stay at this property. The host was wonderful. She gave great instructions and was responsive to all communications. The beds were really comfortable and the house was spotless clean. Nice neighborhood. We felt at home while we were there to attend my son’s graduation at Ft Moore. The location was perfect, real close to the Army Base and to downtown Columbus. I appreciated the restaurant recommendations. Great trip and would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I stayed with another couple for a weekend. Property was clean with plenty of towels and just the right kitchen essentials along with some extras - we were grateful for the bottled water, butter, pancake mix, syrup, coffee, etc that got us through the first couple of days. Great location and comfy living quarters. We enjoyed our stay!

We flew in from Germany with our relatively large family to attend our daughter's turning blue and graduation ceremonies at Fort Benning and this house was perfect, and certainly much more comfortable and affordable than having three or four rooms at a hotel. I don't foresee returning to the Columbus, GA vicinity in the future, but if we were I'd not hesitate to stay here again. Thanks Craig and Belinda!

Stayed 4 nights at The Gathering Place during my son’s Navy Officer commissioning and Auburn University graduation. The home was exactly as described. Belinda was great to work with and she made sure we had everything we needed. The neighborhood is quiet, which we liked. The home is also near to downtown Columbus with several good restaurants nearby. My family and I enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book here again.

The home is a good size, well stocked and very clean. The beds are very soft and the couch comfortable. We spent most of our time at the kitchen table playing games and enjoying each other's company. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. Belinda texted the first day to make sure we had everything we needed. It was a very nice trip.

We had a wonderful stay at the Gathering Place! The home is very comfortable and inviting without making you feel like you are in someone else’s space. Check in and out couldn’t have been easier and a thoughtfully prepared guide shared ahead of time answers most questions. If I’m in Columbus again I would love to stay again.

This home is perfect. Excellent location. Minutes from fast food restaurants and couple more minutes to some nice sit down restaurants. Also 10-15 minute drive to Ft.Benning. This house is beautifully decorated and has everything you could possibly need.

Convenient to all of Columbus, and Ft. Benning. Exceptionally outfitted kitchen, big dining rm table. Very comfortable, clean, organized. Fenced backyard, great neighborhood. Check-in and door lock system very smooth. Charcoal grill (!) so I didn't fool around with replacing an empty tank of propane or a grill that doesn't light properly. Big angled couch living room.
