Luxury stay in a quiet location

It is a beautiful newer build with a very modern aesthetic. The bed is very comfy, the bathroom is large and well equipped. The linens and towel are of a luxurious quality. The wall of glass let’s in a lot of light and a lovely view of the pool. The mini fridge and nespresso machine were used regularly. I think the location was good. It’s a bit removed, but still has access to restaurants and banks, pharmacies, etc. It’s a quiet location.

The welcome left a little to be desired.

Not value for money - disappointing

The location is a 5 minute walk to main part of downtown. Appreciate the communal kitchen with the water dispenser. The beds are very comfortable and the quality of the pillows was great. The showers were great too.

The biggest issue I faced was the constant noise from the motor / electric generator that kept me up for five nights straight. Additionally, the hotel had a strange way of advertising that they don't offer cleaning service. This fact was not explicitly mentioned in their listing, which I found to be misleading. When I contacted the property, they offered to clean the room, but this was only done once out of the five nights we stayed. Apparently, the cleaning lady was unavailable on Sundays, and they never got back to us for the other days. Towels are only changed for a fee. The pool wasn't very clean or inviting. The room is very basic with little to no storage. My overall experience was very disappointing and did not justify the the price at all!!

Superb

Location was smack in the center of downtown. 5 mins or less to the main road. The small pool was cleaned everyday and was so refreshing to swim in! The bathroom and the king sized bed were so nice to have. Slept very well and enjoyed the nice decor. Note: they’re NOT a hotel so they will only change your towels if you’re staying longer that 6 days (which we did)

Due to the low tourism season, my friend and I were the only ones there which was a good and a bad thing. We were hoping to meet people but alas there wasn’t anyone else! If you want to meet people on your trip, maybe staying at a hostel would be better.

Confortable stay

We were alone in the hotel and the rooms are cozy and stylish. It´s more like an Airbnb than a hotel since there is no staff to welcome you or give tips.

The place felt a little abandoned, the room door was broken and the room curtains are not big enough so at night people can see you from the outside.

Treasure in Tulum

Everything was exactly how expected, if not more, the room was right in front of the pool but very quiet. Great new decor and modern bathroom with excellent hot water and perfect pressure! WiFi is super fast and working with no issue.

I agree with the other reviews for the missing wardrobe. There is so much space and nothing to hang your clothes, it's a shame as even a small rail would have helped so much more to have a better and more comfortable experience.

Beautifully designed unit with an excellent location, complete amenities of high quality & a very responsive host!

Great location! Food stands at the corner & many restaurant & shopping options nearby. Amenities provided are complete & of excellent quality. Water dispenser is free. And most important, the host is very friendly & accommodating!

A little slice of heaven.

Exactly as pictured. Modern, contemporary and clean. Lovely intimate hotel located right in the heart of downtown tulum, close to all the bars & restaurants. Great WiFi connection and felt very safe and secure. If I returned I’d stay here again without hesitation. Great value for money also.

Only thing I could possibly complain about what the lack of storage for my clothing I.E no wardrobe but aside from that I really have nothing negative to say.

Stay here, it’s amazing!

Clean, beautiful and new hotel! it was a real pleasure staying in apartment with a pool view! Stuff was extremely helpful and nice. We really felt super safe and location is amazing, there are many great restaurants near by.

Beautiful, new place very close to the center of Tulum

I really enjoyed my stay here! The room was very nice and the bed big and comfortable. Plus it’s in the middle of the city center but not on the Main Street which really helps noise wise. There isn’t 24/7 someone around but they always responded fast via text so it didn’t bother me.

Although it has a great location it’s also quite close to a road with a bar/restaurant with some loud music at night. It’s not too bad but also not great ;).

The location is great, close to everything and the room itself is clean and nice. They supply free water and the staff communicates very fast. they clean the pool daily and during my stay there was something missing and they mostly solve it in no time on a Saturday night!

Everything - location, design, service, value for money, small stuff like coffee capsules and good shampoo, they keep our vacation will be perfect and help us in everything we asked. Would come back there happily

The tub is gigantic but we felt that fill him will take ages, and it's not worth use it.

location was good, and the finish on the property was nice, the pool area seems well maintained.

I found it quite disgusting that no one changed our towels or emptied our bins (including bathroom) during our entire 6 night stay. We also had bikes stolen that were locked outside the hotel, then had a moped stolen the next day - we asked the hotel for help and advice but they ignored our messages, we felt this was a little inhumane. rooms are very small too, with no wardrobes or space to hang clothes

Unsecure, beautifully designed property

The location in downtown Tulum is great, right off the main road, and walkable everywhere. It's secluded. The design is beautiful, and the bathrooms are spacious with hot water. The pool area could be kept cleaner, but it's still lovely. The bed is comfortable.

The security here is lax, and that made us both anxious. There was a couple standing outside for 2 hours one morning because the attendant wasn't there to let them in. They asked us to let them in, which was made us deeply hesitant. Every single time we went to open the gate we found that it had not been properly closed. The keys are made out of old screwdrivers, so you could easily get into the rooms, and there are no safes provided. The wifi also went out several times while we were doing monitored COVID19 tests, and we lost $60 because they weren't able to verify the results and needed to retest.

Comfortable stay in the heart of Tulum town

Super comfortable and large bed and a spacious bathroom with a plunge pool that we weren't expecting. The property felt safe and secure and the owners were very responsive and friendly. My favourite thing was the location - close to the street food, main road, restaurants...

It could be a little noisy at night with the windows open. The lounge area at the pool could be cleaner.

a nice little cozy place to stay

simple but nicely decorated and clean room; the entrance is secured with a good gate(every guest goes in and out with key); the bed is comfortable. there’s a swimming pool but we didn’t use it due to rains. location is good, near good dining places and many small local food stalls , convenience stores and shops around ;

the curtains. they don’t block daylight so well.

Loved how intimate the property was, but still close to everything! Highly recommend for groups of friends or families. We will definitely be back! A/C in rooms were great, water temp and pressure was great, room was clean and decorated very modern. Thanks for having us.

Breakfast would’ve been the icing on the cake. Other than that, no complaints.

Amazing Property!

I loved everything about this property. Great location, walking distance to shops & restaurants, and short taxi ride to the beach. Hotel was clean and decorated beautifully…a private oasis. Great water pressure and temp in the shower, comfortable beds, intimate pool and lounge area, stunning at night. I would definitely recommend to a group of friends traveling, couples, etc. Miguel was very friendly and kept the common areas clean. The team was very responsive, responding quickly to any questions and/or assistance needed. Thanks El Brujo for a great vacation in Tulum!

Nice but still with some problems

The property is brand new and with a nice design. The location is excellent (although a bit noisy which is normal in that area)

In two days we had 3 cockroach in the room which really made us feel uncomfortable. In the swimming pool, if you don’t have one of the ground floor rooms you don’t have space to lay down.

Overall peaceful and quiet. Very minimal great for couples or trip alone not for a girls trip

Breakfast wasn’t served due to corona.

Pool fountain didn’t work. No front desk to just ask questions.
