Excellent location, very convenient for the local shops as well as for the historic city centre. Most of the major attractions are within walking distance from Casa Realto. Very well thought out apartment. It had everything we could need for a comfortable stay. We also liked the style of its decoration, jazz & cinema being the main themes throughout the apartment. Francesco, who let us in and gave us the keys, was very helpful: our flight arrived in Bolognia early in the morning, much earlier than the designated check-in time of 3:00pm; we asked if it would have been possible to drop our luggage in the apartment a bit earlier. The Mundus team, which manages the apartment, did their best to accommodate our request, even though the flat cleaning & preparation was still in progress (following the check-out of the previous occupants at 11:00 am). We were able to drop our big suitcases in the flat at 12:00 noon, ahead of the standard check-in time, which was a great help to us, as we had been travelling since very early in the morning that day. The apartment was properly handed over clean and well stocked later, at the designated check-in time of 3:00 pm. The support, after we checked in, was equally excellent: we could always find a member of the managing team to answer our phone calls or respond to our emails within the next couple of hours. Even when, on our second day, we reported a problem with the shower cubicle doors, which had a split seal and were not closing smoothly, the response of Francesco and the rest of the Mundus team was swift and efficient: the problem was fixed the very next morning, less than 12 hours after we reported it! The level of their "post-check-in" service was very satisfactory.

The price was a bit on the high side but, we guess, it reflects the quality of the accommodation and the service provided. Good quality things should be paid for accordingly :) Casa Realro is located on the 2nd floor within an old/historic building, and, as it is quite common for buildings of that age, there is no lift/elevator. There are 2 flights of stairs, each flight has 15 steps. This could present a challenge and put many people off. Thankfully, it is mentioned clearly at the booking form/stage and people can make an informed choice, whether to book there or not. We chose to take a chance and brave these stairs. We did not regret it.
