You can’t see the ocean from the house but you can hear it and it’s a very short walk to the beach. Great space to gather for families. The kids loved the bunk bed rooms. Great to have adult time upstairs and kid chaos downstairs, but still have space to all eat together.

Our family stayed with another family for a few days and had a great stay. The house is designed perfectly for two families to share. We enjoyed the hot tub and the arcade game. We were bummed out that we couldn’t use the air hockey, Wii, or X Box. The air hockey was missing a paddle, and the controllers for the games were missing batteries. The property managers were responsive and offered to replace the batteries when we alerted them, and they said they would reach out to housekeeping about the air hockey paddle, but it was never found. We really wish there had been beach towels too. Other than the games and lack of beach towels, the place was great. It’s close to the beach and a nice house.

Great for 2 families! The location is beautiful and quiet. The video games and air hockey greatly appreciated during the rain. My only suggestion would be that the neighborhood gate code is included with check in instructions. Will definitely book again!

Nice big place, clean, great location and well stocked kitchen - pots, pans, utensils and an electric griddle for pancakes! Whoo hoo! The video game machine is nice with 700+ games and the air hockey table. Beds were nice and comfy. Hot tub was nice as well.... max of 104F... wish it could a bit hotter. The one slightly negative thing if you are into grilling is that the electric grill on the patio is just barely passable. Took nearly an hour to cook 6 drumsticks, albeit good sized ones we got from the local market, Chesters, and that was on high heat. Otherwise, convenient to walk to Pelican Brew Pub and the local market as well as Doryland Pizza.

Definitely new pillows, new cooking pans.

Unfortunately this rental was not what we were hoping for. Upon walking in we were immediately hit with a very strong, musty pet odor. We get that this is a pet-friendly property, but 30 minutes in my eyes were itching/watering and the scent was just so intense. This rental felt like a crash pad for a large college group, not very relaxing for a couple or lux in any way…especially at 1k for two nights. We didn’t actually sleep in the master bed, as we ended up checking into Headlands just up the road, but the linens looked thin and not very cozy. If you’re not sensitive to pet odor and want a large place I think this will do the trick, but we wouldn’t recommend it for a couple or anyone that wants a more comfortably stay.

This was our first time using VRBO. I’ve helped my mom book trips on here for her and it was super easy. Being our first time it was a great experience with Meredith Lodging. We want to personally thank the hosts as well. The beach house was amazing for the one night we stayed with family. We reunited after a long time as my significant other and our family live in Canada. I’m originally from Oregon and we come down often! 🏝 thank you so much and we look forward to maybe staying again.

This house is not good for older family members, but would be good for families with younger kids. Check in time was 5:00, which is later than other rental companies we’ve used this summer at the coast (Meredith claimed the busy season required more time to prepare the house), and for the price a 4:00 check in would’ve been more reasonable.
The pros: beds are plentiful and comfortable, couches are comfortable (enough to sleep on), furniture is new and in good shape, video game and air hockey are functional, lots of towels available, interior of house clean, open space for gathering, warm showers with good water pressure. Lots of entertainment options in the house for kids and families.
The cons: house is aging and exterior is shabby and the immense amount of stairs in front are rickety which makes it challenging for older family members, the entrance on the side is unsafe as the railing is in the wrong side and the glass door opens the wrong way, which caused one of our older family members to almost fall off, kitchen supplies and dishes are limited and pots and pans are needing some updates, kitchen not well stocked (no coffee grinder or storage supplies, no baggies or aluminum foil etc). Be warned that the mugs are not microwave safe and one person burned her hand retrieving a mug from the microwave. Wifi is very weak and there is no A/C and upstairs gets very warm in the summer heat. There are 3 very used kids bikes and one adult-sized bike, so unusable for our family of teens and grandparents.

House was nice. Close access to beach. Rooms are good size. A few things could’ve been better. Main entrance and kitchen/living room is on the upper 2nd floor. So lots carrying things up and down the stairs. Kitchen didn’t have pepper, hot pads for oven, can opener is broken. Some little things that aren’t a big deal but kinda annoying. Nintendo Wi doesn’t work.

We stayed at the property with 2 other family friends staying within blocks of us in their own rental. This house was the hang out spot. Lots of room, very comfortable. 3 minutes from the beach. Toys and games for kids in a separate area so adults can visit.

When the sun came out it was an easy walk to the beach and not to far of a walk down the beach to Pelican Brewery for a nice lunch.

A fantastic, ultra roomy beach house! A short walk to the beach and to a general store and Pelican Brewery. Was a perfect spot for us! Would entertain renting this house again for future visits!

The kids loved the game room and there was plenty of room to spread out for our family of four. Beautiful home with walking distance to everything
My family and I came from Michigan to stay at this location. The home was clean and well kept. The house is a short walk to the beach. There were toys for the kids to play with and air hockey and video games for the adults. Would rent again!

Perfect for two families
Perfect for two families. We had five pre-teen/teens that hung out at night on the first floor and played air hockey and Xbox while adults had second floor. Everyone had a comfortable bed. Short walk to beach, was nice they provided a wagon with beach tires! Plenty of bath towels but the kitchen could be better stocked. There was only one small cookie sheet and we had gone crabbing, a few extra large trays or pans would have been nice. Also no foil, napkins, or plastic wrap, bring your own. Overall very comfortable for our families!

Nice House If You Can Get In
Very hard getting ahold of property management. Took two days to talk with someone. When I finally got ahold of them they gave me the wrong code to get into the house. Thankfully the housekeeper was still their upon arrival. They gave us the right code after our attempt to open the box with the wrong code failed.
