7 family members gathered here for a fall getaway just to relax and enjoy family time. This house provided almost everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Some wash cloths and hand towels would have been nice, but we made due. The location is fabulous and the beach was nice and unpopulated so we could just enjoy the ocean and not worry about crowds.

Very nice/clean, secluded and quick response from the owners/management with any problems (our upstairs A/C unit went out and within 15 minutes of calling they had a hvac technician at the house and fixed it. Beautiful home that held our group of 6 adults and 5 children without issue, plenty of room. Its only about a 20 yard walk out the backdoor before your on the beach. We are very pleased. I would also like to add that the surf fishing at this spot was particularly great!

Our stay was perfect and the property is exactly as listed. Spacious locked deck with plenty of seating for everyone, great for smaller children to play and move around. House is just feet from the water, we saw lots of marine life, especially dolphins each day. House was plenty big enough for 13 of us to have space and not feel crowded. Neighborhood is quiet and beach was not crowded at all but a few mile drive and you will be in the hub of it all. Excellent property.

This was a fantastic beach home for our family vacation! The home itself was beautiful & comfortable. Great extras in the kitchen area such as an under counter ice maker & a free standing beverage fridge makes loading up a cooler for the beach a breeze! The beds were comfortable & the bathrooms were clean. As an aside... bring your own hangers if you plan to hang very many clothes. Not many are provided.
The kitchen was well stocked with plates, cups, silverware, etc. The only things we wished had been available was a coffee scoop, an ice cream scoop, and a full set of measuring spoons & cups. Important note... the coffee maker uses basket style filters. There is also a Keurig Coffee Maker available.
We grilled out often on the gas grill. There is also a charcoal grill provided.
The location is a short easy walk to the beach. The beach is quiet in this area & we felt comfortable leaving our chairs & umbrellas set up all day as we went to and from the house. The deck on the house jas tons of seating and is a great place to eat meals or enjoy the sunrise and sunset. We often saw dolphins playing off shore in the early morning.
We loved our stay at Sunset Place & will definitely plan on coming back!

Loved everything about this house. Perfect for my dog, with the gated deck. Just a quick walking down the dunes to the ocean. We want to come back here in May.

We had an amazing stay. Location to town is so great! But, at the same time the beaches are not crowded whatsoever! Had a couple of hiccups with stay but the property management remedied it immediately! I can not say enough great things! I know this sounds silly. But, my main recommendation for house is to build a boardwalk to beach off of deck.

We had an amazing extended stay. The home, deck, beach and location were perfect. No complaints! We truly enjoyed the entire experience. Would not have changed a thing. Hoping to get back - probably the best vacation thus far!!

We were very happy with the location. Right on the beach and separated from the high rise condos down the road. Very laid back. Deck was outstanding. There are two grills. One propane and one charcoal. Beds were clean and comfortable. We loved listening to the ocean at night in bed.
You can't beat being right on the beach. We saw dolphins several days. There is an osprey that hangs around too. The water is very nice.
There are a couple of things that could have been better. The management company should upgrade some of the amenities like soaps. There are very limited supplies on hand when you arrive, including toilet paper, soap etc. They have the thinnest bars of soap in the shower (think communion wafer). NO HAND SOAP.
The kitchen utensils and pots are worn (there is a Keurig coffee maker though!!). There were some spices in a spice rack with a note from the previous renter letting us know the spices were super old and should have been thrown out. I don't know why the cleaning people left that note behind. There are serious drywall issues around the A/C vents in the kitchen ceiling. It looks bad. The furniture is ok, but the bathroom fixtures / finish are cheap. For what we paid I would have expected better.
Overall though we loved the place and highly recommend.

I can't say enough good things about this property! I've always wanted to stay at a home right on the beach,and this one was perfect! The gated deck was perfect for us and our goldendoodle to spend long afternoons hanging out and enjoying the view. The house was so well stocked with everything we needed, we never had to even make a trip to the store! The master bedroom had a perfect view, and a nice large bathroom with a walk in closet. We even had a fire in the fireplace on a couple of nights! This wonderful house was only about 15 min from most anywhere but yet you felt so secluded,which was awesome. It was a great way to spend our anniversary. The people from Vacasa were also super!!!

The GOOD:
Wake up and enjoy your morning coffee,
waves in and out, and beautiful sunrises on the spacious back deck.
The home's setting on the dunes, just 50 yards from the Gulf, was perfect for our 4 year-olds to 77 year-olds to trek from house to beach often each day.
Fine restaurants and Walmart were just 3-5 miles away.
The home was well stocked with soap, shampoo, paper towels, TP, dish detergent, spices, books and games for all ages, and additional pillows and sheets.
I appreciated the decor, especially the
upscale leather reclining furniture.
We were pleasantly surprised to find (although I was told the opposite before our arrival) 2 grills--1 Charcoal (byo charcoal), and 1 Propane, as well as
beach chairs, floats and umbrella.
Even in our cool, windy Nov weather, the spacious back deck was warm enough to sunbathe on its generous offering of furniture.
The clogged garbage disposal was promptly repaired after my call.
We enjoyed dinner and colorful sunsets on the deck.
The BAD:
One of many living room mechanical recliners worked only occasionally.
The upstairs Jack and Jill bathroom fan was inoperable and unrepairable after my call, throughout our stay.
Some blinds were too large for windows, thus difficult to open to see the beautiful Gulf view.
The livingroom TV's universal remote was improperly paired
with the tv, causing anxiety during football game viewing.
The queen bedroom sofa bed mattress was unbearably uncomfortable, even for 4 year olds--one felt the springs when lying on the mattress.
OVERALL:
In spite of the negatives, my hubby and I'd rate the home a 4.5 and would eagerly return.

This is the second time we have stayed at Sunset Place. It’s a perfect location. Beautiful beach. All amenities provided. More than enough space for 5 ladies. Loved our stay both times.

The beach was absolutely beautiful with not a ton of people around since it is farther down the coastal hwy. Kitchen was fully stocked, and the open floor plan with the living area and the back porch made cooking and eating meals fantastic and fun. Before our trip I messaged to ask if there was a grill or bbq pit at the house and got a response from Vacasa saying there wasn’t. However, there actually are 2 pits on the ground level. One with a propane bottle and one for charcoal. So we also grilled burgers one evening. Highly recommend this property and we plan on staying again in the future!

Had a wonderful Time Our 4th stay here since 2014. Home is well equipped. Only 60 yards to the ocean front. Large deck and plenty of room for a large family.

The view and deck were amazing! We loved the deck furniture. We ate dinner on the deck every night. The short walk to the beach was especially nice. It was like we had our own private beach. We rate this trip as one of our best!
