A wonderful vacation for my entire family. Beautiful cottage. Kayaks were used every day. Well equipped kitchen. Great location. Could have been a bit cleaner. Food wrappers under beds. Floors not clean. Bathroom molding I. 1/2 bath dirty.

Our stay was all we hoped it would be. A clean place with great outdoor spaces on the slower, quieter end of the lake.

We enjoyed our stay. Clean. Excellent outdoor area for relaxing and a bonfire. We had a small issue with water pressure and the owner came right over and fixed it.

This was my first time renting a VRBO and I don't like writing bad reviews but we had a few issues with the house which I called the property management company and while they were courteous and returned my calls promptly, nothing was ever done to fix the problem. The biggest issue was not having any running water for 2 days. I had to make a few trips to the lake edge with a house pot to get water to flush the toilets for 6 people. I was told that the owner got in touch with the neighbors to come and check the water issue and the TV that didn't work. 2 separate people was supposed to come by and no one did. The tub wasn't cleaned well from the prior visit, it had a soap ring that rubbed off, the 2 toilets are loose and rocks when you sit. The main bathroom door does not lock. There was no dish soap as listed of included items and a small watered down cleaner. The futon in the third bedroom was thin and uncomfortable, definitely not suitable for adults to sleep on. I hope that VBRO will made immediate adjustments to the price that was paid.

We loved “Living On The Edge!” The home was spotless, the view amazing and the decor was charming. We had a few questions and the property manager responded quickly.
In town, we had a wonderful lunch at Roots Cafe-great drink menu-delicious food and a unique, eclectic experience. I only wish there was availability in the summer!
Great VRBO-you won’t be disappointed!

Nice getaway with family
This was a wonderful house and property. It was very clean and had some nice updates, especially the dining room table and living room. The kitchen is stocked with all the necessities. The deck and docks are great for relaxing, fishing and launching the kayaks. Unfortunately the water was filled with thick seaweed (milfoil?) at the south end of the lake so our swimming was very limited. I’m not sure if this is normal and a seasonal thing, but it would be nice to disclose this to families with children who are looking forward to swimming. We ended up kayaking to some clearer water about 1/4 mile north to let our kids swim a couple times. Overall we had a nice time and would return if we knew the seaweed was gone.
