Lovely little cottage off the beaten track

This place has a really nice cottage vibe, comfortable and cozy and situated in a lovely garden next to a river. Views from the bed of the sunset and the glittering gold temple are a pleasure. A lot of small details were considered to make the room comfortable. Hosts are welcoming and kind. It's a unique and cozy stay for those interested in a different viewpoint of the city.

Most obvious one, the noise of the boats on the river is occasionally extreme — but it's no fault of the owners. Location is probably not ideal for newcomers to Bangkok.

Outstanding place to experience the real Bangkok

The location is excellent within the local area and very few tourists. It’s down an alleyway within the local community. Felt safe at all times. The hosts are outstanding. Excellent breakfast every morning. It is on the canal and we were able to go on a longboat trip for the day organised by Anna. The garden is beautiful and overlooks the bustling river, noisy during the day but quiet and peaceful at night 7:00pm to 7:00am. Highly recommended if you want an authentic experience.

Vielen Dank für einen schönen Aufenthalt!

Das Hotel liegt in einer eher ruhigen Gasse, wo ansonsten nur Einheimische leben. Das Zimmer ist sehr schön eingerichtet, verfügt über eine funktionierende Klimaanlage und ist sehr sauber. Man schaut nach draußen auf den schönen Garten. Das frisch zubereitete, typisch thailändische Frühstück kann man auf der Terrasse genießen, wobei auch vegetarische und vegane Optionen gewählt werden können. Ein perfekter Start in den Urlaubstag :)

Die unmittelbare Umgebung ist nicht besonders anheimelnd. Ich würde dennoch immer wieder dort buchen!

Experiencia distinta que vale la pena vivir

Experiencia distinta a alojarse en un hotel. Esto es una antigua casa colonial, con un extenso jardín y salida propia a un canal. Mira bien las fotos: está la casita individual y otra, que es como una habitación. Las anfitrionas muy atentas: solucionaron todas las dudas. Está en un barrio poco turístico, musulman, muy auténtico.

Un vistazo a la cultura local en un ambiente acogedor

Si buscas entrar en contacto con la cultura local y salirte del circuito turístico típico, esta es tu opción. Kinn Stay está ubicado entre canales y pequeñas casas en un barrio modesto con herencia musulmana y tailandesa. Se encuentra a 15 minutos caminando de la estación de metro Itsarapap, lo cual fue muy conveniente para ir a las zonas turísticas de manera rápida (o también puedes usar Grab). El alojamiento en sí mismo es precioso, con un jardín muy bien cuidado. Las habitaciones son amplias y acogedoras. An y su mamá son muy lindas personas; nos trataron muy bien y nos ayudaron en todo. Y el desayuno también fue delicioso.

Tranquilo, acogedor y hermoso lugar único.

La casa de Anne y su madre ha sido cómo un hogar para mi en Bangkok. Es un lugar precioso, tranquilo, ciudado al detalle. Ubicado en un auténtico klong, lejos del turismo, pero bien conectado. El alojamiento es perfecto y súper acogedor. La cama comodísima, las vistas al río preciosas, los cantos de los monjes del templo budista a la otra parte del río.... El desayuno delicioso escuchando los pájaros en ése Maravilloso jardín no tiene precio. Pero lo más importante para mí es que tuve un pequeño accidente y sólo puedo agradecer la generosidad, amabilidad y cuidado que tuvieron conmigo. Volveria siempre. Gracias de corazón Anne y Branmi. 😊

Enjoying

Quiet and cozy. The food was great. The house owner guides everything I need. They take care of me so much.

A bit far from the town area. And longtail boats are a bit noisy during the day time. The rest ok.

Country feel to a mid city stay. Lovely.

Incredible location next to a canal in Bangkok. The owners/staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious.

Exceptional

Very cute loft. Walking distance to Wat Arun. Very nice breakfast, provided vegetarian as requested. They provided a to-go boxed breakfast on the meeting we checked out as we had to leave early.

The canal boats were loud, but not an issue as they didn't run at night.

Lovely place but I wouldn't go back.

The owner is lovely, breakfast was delicious and the view wonderful. Authentic area and relatively tourist free. Enough street carts, 711 close by and a friendly restaurant with good food. Walking distance to Wat Arun.

There's no car access so you can't book a Grab directly. There's no TV and the WiFi is dreadful. The pleasure in the view is quickly over-ridden by the sound of the longtail boats screaming up the klong from dawn to night-time. It's near a Mosque and they broadcast their prayers. The bed is very hard and is 2 singles pushed together, which is fine but there's only 2 single doonas.

Peaceful oasis

The host was really nice, communication worked perfectly and everything she organized for us (boat tour, driver to airport, breakfast to go) was well done and professional! The place is a peaceful oasis in the city. In the night you hear just the birds and other animals.

A peaceful retreat in a hectic Bangkok

We loved the location - based in the Thai Muslim community near the mosque down narrow alleys but felt very safe even at night. The room was tastefully decorated and had a traditional thai feel to it. It was very clean and we had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. Each morning, we had a good choice of breakfast items - toast, fresh fruit, fresh juice, filter coffee and fried egg, beans, pasty, and veg. It was only a 10-minute walk to WAT Arun and about 15 min walk to WAT Phrayun (turtle temple). We walked over the bridge and about a further 10 min walk to catch a river boat (16 baht per perso ) and you can get off wherever you want - a lot quicker than a taxi or bus for getting around.

Nothing, we loved it and will definitely stay again when we next visit Bangkok

If you are looking for an authentic experience this is the place to stay

We have stayed in many areas of Bangkok over the years and KINN stay 50 is the most interesting and unique. As the name implies, we felt like kin, like family, staying in our private cabin in the garden, serenaded by a chorus of birds throughout the day. Every detail of the cabin has been well considered for our comfort. Cleanliness is excellent. Learning the history of this home and this area from Ann and her mother gave us such an insight into life lived for generations along the khlong and present challenges. We had no difficulty getting to all the sites that we wanted to see, either by walking, taking taxis, getting the nearby metro, or using the river ferries. It was so relaxing in the morning sitting on the terrace of the house being served a different breakfast daily. Although the noisy long-tail boats start along the khlong at 7am, we found it to be part of the authentic experience. They stop at 7pm. Ann organized a 5 hour private tour in a small long-tail boat which was fascinating and enabled us to chose what we wanted to see and for how long we wanted to be at each location.

Something different and exciting!

In an area quite unique to location. On a major Klong and opposite a beautiful Wat. In a community setting with narrow alleyways and interesting buildings. Easy walking and ferry service for Wat Arun, Eat Pho and Royal palace. A different perspective in Bangkok. Loved it!
