About this condo rental
Nestled in Cruz Bay, this attractive condo for $442 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Harborview is a 2 bedroom/2bathroom condo at battery hill, an intimate nine unit condominium complex nestled at the top of the hill overlooking Cruz Bay in town. This is a Caribbean gem, with an open living plan, fully equipped kitchen, and furnished in lovely, bright island decor, with a queen sized master bedroom and a queen size bed in the expensive loft bedroom. Harbor View is located on the top floor of the two unit building, with its own separate entrance. The mahogany doors open to the fabulous 24 foot high tongue and groove, beamed ceilings. The jalousie windows and six Hunter fans circulate the tropical breezes and Trade Winds (air conditioning is available for the rare nights it is needed). The inviting great room is tastefully appointed with a comfortable couch, chairs and a flat screen television with cable TV. Off of the great room is a quaint covered balcony to take in the majestic views while basking in the cooling trade wind breezes. There is a community gas BBQ grill available which is located near the pool deck. The community pool is located just steps from the front door. It features numerous lounge chairs available for sunbathing and other lounge chairs are located under a covered and shaded area, ideal for reading or lounging. Several tables and chairs complement the outer pool deck area. Beach chairs, cooler and beach towels are available to take on your visits to our many world class beaches. Battery Hill is a beautifully landscaped community located within the village of Cruz Bay with an ambiance well suited to those looking for privacy, luxurious amenities and convenience. Harbor View at Battery Hill is professionally managed by Tammy Cummings, Always Summer Services. Tammy is a 30 plus year residents of St. John and has been in the property management business for 5 years. Tammy strives to keep her company small and personally oriented. The description is accurate, this unit is a gem! Very clean, tasteful decor and view better than we expected. We sat on the balcony each morning and enjoyed the view. The kitchen had everything we needed with quality dishware, utensils, etc. Highly recommend!

This condo was fully appointed! We didn’t need to use the dishes no one wanted. Every dish looked new! Ha! Everything worked and we had no issues! The space was clean, close to town and exactly as described. We didn’t rent the upstairs but did take a peek and it so inviting!!! The breeze came with the place too! No need for the air although it was nice to have that option. Thank you for having us! We hope you’ll have us again!!

My mom and I stayed a week at this beautiful spot before Christmas. The owners have truly thought of every single thing imaginable that you would need when here. We did not cook, but the kitchen was fully stocked if you wanted to do so. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of linens provided. Great porch for coffee or cocktails, looking out over cruise bay and the town. Place was very spacious and comfortable for the two of us. We will definitely book again!

This was the absolutely best place for the four of us to stay (myself, husband, adult son and his girlfriend). The location is perfect - just a short walk up a very steep hill from town. This allowed us to go into town without the hassle of looking for parking. The view from the unit is just beautiful. There is a small pool just steps away from the unit. Amenities are amazing - beach tent, Yeti backpack cooler, beach towels, beach chairs, spices, coffee, tea, jugs for cold water, books, games….etc! We would definitely return to this unit if opportunity arises. Loved our stay here!

We were lucky enough to find a booking here for a quickly planned trip. The owner and manager were very prompt in responses to us about this space given another booking property was deemed unavailable after we booked our airfare ! This property is as advertised that it’s all recently renovated , everything is absolutely spotless , modern and comfortable. There is an amazing view of Cruz Bay from the patio - we are going to miss having our coffee there !! It’s close enough yo walk to town if you want to - understanding its on the top of the hill 😀. Check in and check out were very clear with great communication with the property manager for all questions. It also includes a parking space if you have a jeep rental. This property is a great base for a vacation exploring St John !

This property is in the perfect location to walk to town. The owner thought of everything you might need while on vacation. Very thoughtfully stocked. Second floor would be great for older children who can be trusted on the stairs. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a trip to paradise.

Property is very clean. They supplied us with additional cleaning products, vacuum if needed. They were very thoughtful with stocking kitchen with everything you could need. Beach back pack cooler was appreciated along with chairs. Only downside is up stairs shows never got hot and was ice cold beside that place was perfect. Great location and felt safe.

Just loved this place! Perfectly located with easy access to restaurants. Gorgeous view from balcony. Entire condo was so comfortable because the owner took so much time to make sure every last detail was thought of. Entire place was stocked with all the items you could possibly need to feel super comfortable and enjoy your vacation. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Will definitely go back and stay here! I wish all the VRBO rentals lived up to this one!

A perfect location and a thoughtfully appointed apartment
This place had every little thoughtful touch a vacationer could want. Books, beach bags, SPF/after sun spray, sun covers, full kitchen with all the appliances. We have stayed in 3 different apartments in the small complex and this one was by felt like real people loved and lived in it. A few notes: there are no instructions on how to use a complicated digital stove and combination convection oven/microwave. It took 4 us some time and a bit of frustration to figure both out. They work great but instructions would be helpful. Also, the beds are very firm. It was not a comfy sleeping experience. That could be personal preference and I assume the humid tropical weather makes a pillow top hard to maintain. I think it is clear from the photos but the apartment is not accessible. There are stairs down to the unit and a very narrow, spiral staircase to the second bedroom/loft. Even the most nimble of us had to tread very, very carefully going up and down the staircase. St. John is a wonder and this place was a perfect place to stay. We loved it and will definitely be back.

Harbor View is lovely...well appointed, super clean, private and ideal for 4 people...though we were only two...plenty of space. Kitchen fully equipped, all the beach gear, guides and stuff you forgot is ready and available. Local host is super cool and helpful with any and all questions. Highly recommend.

We have stayed at this property multiple times. Great location to Cruz Bay. Awesome views of town, the bay, and sunsets. Well stocked with what you need whether staying for a week or 3 weeks like we did! We’ll definitely be back!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Harbor View with the private balcony, salt pool , and also enjoyed meeting others staying there at Battery Hill. One couple were owners from Vermont. We thought we were going to have to buy ice but, we found more ice trays and took out one of the drawers in freezer and stored trays there and we keep plenty of Ice. You might want to let your other guests know about that. The kitchen was very well equipped with nice pots and utensils. Thanks for a great week!! Anne and Tim Bishop
