Pros: This property is in a great location, right on the lake. They have installed a new dock. The common area was spacious. Cons: The property has been neglected. The outside landscaping is a mess and the deck needs to be stained/painted. The inside needs deep cleaning and painting. There is not a fan in the Jack and Jill bathroom on the main floor and the sconces are rusting, wallpaper is peeling and the vanity is old and not in good shape from the moisture. When we arrived, no sheets were left for the sleeper sofa and I called the property management company. They responded early the next morning and stated housekeeping would drop off a set. They never did. Luckily, I found a set of sheets in a closet, washed and dried them so we could use them. The dishwasher leaves a gritty film on the dishes and we had to rewash dishes constantly. A shade in the bedroom was broken and we could not lift it to see the beautiful lake view. The bathroom shade was also broken. There were spiders and cobwebs by the ceiling in the main bedroom, which my husband had to remove. The kitchen cabinets need a thorough cleaning inside and out. The light fixtures have bugs in them. During our stay there were hundreds of hornets on our vehicles due to the sap from the tree above the driveway.

The positive side is the beautiful lake, we took kayak rides, the little boys had fun fishing off the dock, the older boys had fun swimming, we were all mesmerized by the sound of the waves! The house was clean, beds were nicely made and clean.. a big plus for us! Outside not so great, weeds in the flowerbeds made it look messy, the grill had not been cleaned or covered from the last use, cigarette butts outside the door.. a turnoff, the glass cups had a hairy type film inside that washed off easily, but it was kinda 😝. All in all we were grateful for a place to stay with our 10 children and they enjoyed every nook, especially the "slanting "pool table!

Lakeview is great!

Everything was great. We enjoyed the kayak and canoe. It was a convenient location. Quiet area, nice side yard for playing games. My only concern was a very wobbly railing on the third floor and the smoke detector had been removed.

Great place
Everything was great. We enjoyed the kayak and canoe. It was a convenient location. Quiet area, nice side yard for playing games. My only concern was a very wobbly railing on the third floor and the smoke detector had been removed.

Girls' Weekend
Chris' place was a great location and just as described. There was plenty of room for the 3 of us and we did nothing but relax! The views from the back deck are amazing. The only thing I wish was a bit different is the location of the waterfront firepit because it is so close to the lake wall and the yard slopes so there's not really room to put Adirondack chairs around it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Chris was super responsive. Thank you, Chris!

Excellent location
Very nice location, large house with plenty of beds availible. Wonderful view of the lake. We thought the house, fridge, counter tops, tables and floors were dirty upon arrival. All in all, we would book this house again.

We enjoyed our stay at this lake house.
It was a great place to bring our boat and do some fishing and swimming off the dock. We enjoyed campfires at night in the fire pit. Overall it was a very quiet and relaxing trip.

Finger Lakes Get Away!
We had a great time staying at Conesus Lake! The property was perfect! Plenty of room, clean, and everything we needed. The weather was a bit cold and rainy, but the fishing and views were great! Chris was very helpful and even put the dock in early for us!

Great Lakeside House
We greatly enjoyed our stay at Chris' place. Chris was excellent with communication and everything was exactly as described. We traveled with another family and the upstairs room had plenty of space for our 8 kids. The two bedrooms on the main floor share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom which was perfect for the adults. The downstairs with pool table, TV, and another bathroom was a great entertainment room with french doors that led right to the deck. The lake itself is beautiful and the dock/kayaks provided hours of entertainment.

Cleanliness
The main floor and lower level bathrooms were not clean the main floor had lots of mold in the shower and the tub itself was very dirty. The deck also needs a good pressure wash there is a lot of green mold on al the white railings. Over all the home is very nice new carpet and flooring nicely painted the two areas I brought up were the only areas not up to standard. I don’t know if the owner even has any control of this but the water pressure is very low.

Lakefront Family Vacation
The property was great-terrific lake views from every floor, lots of space, and the boats and life jackets were wonderful to have to enjoy the lake. Good amount of cooking utensils, firepits, and gas grill. We had a wonderful week!

Peaceful getaway on Conesus Lake
We rented this property for a "girl's weekend" during the Alumni Weekend at SUNY Geneseo - just 20 minutes away. It was close enough for easy travel back and forth to campus, but gave us all some peace to get away from the activities on campus.
We loved the setting and the place itself - which had everything we needed to make a wonderful weekend. We swam and kayaked from the dock, and relaxed on the back porch. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and small appliances (coffee pot, etc). It was homey and inviting.
Only one tiny word of caution (Chris, you may want to add it to your description, if it's not there) - a person with trouble managing stairs would have difficulty with this property. There are stairs to the front door, and stairs to the back deck. It didn't affect our team, but I thought it was worth noting.
We really had a wonderful time, and since we only get a chance to see one another once per year, having a great place to stay makes the memories all the sweeter.
