About this docked boat rental
Located in Apalachicola, this lovely docked boat for $340 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Fishermans Retreat is a large Houseboat on the water on Scipio Creek. Capt. Jr. Holland hand built this floating vacation home to take his bride Rhonda up river for weekend get-aways and fishing trips. Now it is docked next to the Water Street Hotel, ready for you to come and "Set a Spell". Enjoy the sunrise from the screened waterfront porch or toast the sunset from the top deck. This floating home can sleep up to 5 - 1 King Bed in the bedroom with a Queen Sleeper Sofa in the main living area. An additional Twin Rollaway bed is available. A full kitchen, large screen TV with cable, Wi-fi, and full bath with shower complete the set-up of this roomy houseboat. 2 night minimum, weekly and monthly rates are available. 10% tax plus cleaning fee will apply. NO pets allowed. Amenities King bed, Queen Sleeper, Full size refrigerator, Full size Stove/Oven, Flat Screen Cable TV, Comfy Recliners, WiFi, Bed Linens and Towels provided. Extra Twin Roll-Away.

My wife anf I had an amazing time visiting Apalachicola. Great food and awesome place to stay within walking distance to downtown. Great place on the water, highly recommend for a quick getaway!

This houseboat was so clean and comfortable, better than expected! We loved sitting on the screened in porch and also the sundeck upstairs. It was great to watch the boats coming and going and the gorgeous sunrises/sunsets.
Thank you for the care and attention to details given to this place!
We will definitely be back and hopefully able to stay longer.

Love the location and the house. Well stocked for guest and cute layout. My only complaint would be the shower size. I get it that it’s a house boat shower just super small. I would still rent again

We had a great time! But be careful though, because this place is addictive. We planned on a day at the beach but ended up spending all of our time here. We absolutely loved being on the screened porch watching the wildlife and boats going by right in front of us.

We stayed at this property as a getaway from the stress of our careers and to celebrate our 32nd anniversary. Our stay was awesome!! The houseboat was clean, quiet and tucked away from the crowds downtown. It was well equipped as well...we cooked all our meals there with no problem. The highlight of the trip was spotting 3 manatees right outside our back door!
We will definitely stay there again!

Enjoy the beautiful soothing view, looking out on the marsh and the bay. While you relax on the screened porch, wave at the recreational and shrimp boaters as they pass by. Added to this, the spacious living and bedroom as well as a fully equipped kitchen and bath are all you need to find your peace. Our only regret is that we didn’t plan a longer stay.

This was our first houseboat experience. It was so much fun. The houseboat is very roomy and perfectly located. We enjoyed sitting on the upper deck as well as the screened in porch and watching all the birds and boats go by. It was sparkling clean inside and had everything we'd ever need. Very nicely decorated and a very comfy king size bed.
We will definitely do this again!

This is a sweet retreat. The houseboat was so very comfortable with nice amenities and decor. A very short walk to all Apalachicola has to offer. When we were not out in town, we spent most of our time on the lovely screened in porch. We've already reserved for next year.

Everything as advertised. Clean, well stocked. Screened porch is awesome! Houseboat is spacious and in a no wake zone so boats go slow. People on fishing boats wave including shrimp boats. Friendly folks. My wife and I were the only people in our party, so we had plenty of room. I talked to owner on phone; nice lady. Traffic jams are non-existent.

We have been coming to Apalachicola for over 20 years and are so excited to have found this gem! What a quaint and relaxing place to stay! All the amenities you could want or need. We plan to make this our go to place to stay when visiting, so we will definitely be back, hopefully sooner than later! The porch and deck are amazing!! Thank you for this great rental!

It was so much fun enjoy fishing there . Also watching the shrimp boats coming in . The back porch is very very relaxing. Stayed comfortable with go cold air . The only thing I would say is the bed room bed mattress definitely needs to be changed and updated. Other then that I have no nagtive thangs to say about it .

My husband and I stayed here for our 25th wedding anniversary. The location was perfect for walking to all the great restaurants and shops nearby. The house was clean and cozy and had everything we needed. We loved the view from the top deck and watching the boats go by which gently rocked the house. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it to others!
