West of Eden East Side West of Eden – East is half of the West of Eden vacation home and can be rented by itself or together with West of Eden – West, making it perfect for extended family reunions, and destination events like weddings, anniversaries, special birthdays, and even business retreats. East can comfortably accommodate up to 18 of your closest friends and family, or business associates. Lounging on the beach, taking a dip in the pool, surf fishing, or just enjoying a refreshing beverage on the balcony, you and your guests will enjoy the peace and tranquility that Perdido Key has to offer! The Beach This place is right on the beach! Start your day right with a quick morning swim or a little sunrise yoga. The kids can wake up and be out on the beach in just a few minutes. Catch up on the latest family news as you enjoy that first cup of coffee while sitting on the porch watching the kids play. West of Eden also has a swimming pool when you get tired of the beach (if that’s possible). Either way, beach or poolside, work on your tan, finish that book, or just take a much needed nap. Perdido Key is slightly less crowded than it neighbors in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, so you can enjoy the quieter pleasures of beach living. There’s plenty of space to spread out, relax or play on the beach. At night, leave the windows open so you can hear the soothing sound of the waves. Beach Living All it takes is one step into East, with its wide open floor plans and bright, cheerful beach décor, and you’ll start to feel all that stress melting away. The open, flowing spaces mean plenty of room for gathering everyone together for family meals, quick meetings, or game night. Free Wi-Fi throughout makes it easy to connect to the outside world if you absolutely have to. And the kids can stream all their favorite shows anytime on one of the many flat screen TVs that are scattered throughout the unit. Deep, shady porches extend the entire length of the house on the beachside on both the first and second floors with plenty of cute Adirondack chairs. You and your guests will be spending most of your time out here, enjoying the beautiful view and balmy breeze. *Spill over pool shown in photos is a kiddie pool, not a hot tub.* *Pool can be heated for an additional fee.* Amenities and Details The dining table in West of Eden – East has can easily handle 10 people, and there is counter seating in the kitchen perfect for a quick snack. Several picnic tables are on the shady ground floor and are perfect when you need to feed a gang of hungry kids. The fully equipped kitchen has a coffee maker (an essential!), microwave, and more. The 6 charming bedrooms boast a combination of kings, twins and doubles, allowing for flexible guest accommodations. There are 5 full bathrooms, and several bedrooms have en suite baths. The beachside bedrooms have French doors for direct access to the rocking chairs on the porch. You may not want to leave your bedroom! For specifics, see the details below. **Pool heating is a seasonal amenity. Not available from Memorial Day to Labor Day.** About Perdido Key Perdido Key (or Lost Key) is on the tip of the Florida panhandle, and known for its beautiful beaches and backwaters, dining and entertainment options, national parks and historic forts. And the world-famous Flora-Bama honky-tonk with its bushwackers, oysters and live music is just minutes away! Gulf Shores and Orange Beach are pretty close too. The Policies Both sides of West of Eden are non-smoking. An adult 25 years or older must reserve the home and be present at the home during your entire stay. We do not rent to anyone under the age of 25, and there are no exceptions to this policy.

The size and location of the house was great! We felt like we had the beach to ourselves and our kids had plenty of room to run and play. We enjoyed the spacious living areas where we could all hang out together and not feel cramped. Having two refrigerators was key to keeping us from going to the grocery store every few days. We enjoyed our stay and have already booked our trip for next year!

We stayed with a group of friends and our children ranging from 6 months to 3 years old and had a wonderful time! The rooms were spacious and updated, the living/dining area was spacious, it was super helpful to have two fridges! We cooked for the whole group each night and had plenty of space and everything we needed. The layout was awesome, and we enjoyed hanging out both downstairs and on the back porch. You can’t beat a backyard steps to a secluded beach. We will definitely be back!

The property was perfect! We had a retired chef in our group and he was impressed with the kitchen set-up. Two generations from two families-had ample space to spread out. Very comfortable rental. Would definitely stay again.

House is beautiful in a non-busy part of the Key with very few large condo complexes nearby. The house was spacious and well appointed. The vacation home was ideal for three couples and a single in that we each were able to have our own bedroom with a king size bed and en-suite bath. We would stay with a large group again. We regretted paying the extra money to heat the pool for the ten days we were there considering the amount it was used. It took several days to heat up and the 65-70 degree weather made it harder for the pool to stay warm. Money seems more well spent if you have kids who are in it every day. None of the bedroom TVs were working when we arrived and it was somewhat annoying to have to deal with cable repairs and communication with property managers. Took awhile to get them all working. Outside Grills could use a good cleaning. First vacation place I’ve rented where dishwasher had to be run and emptied and all dishes put away before 10 am checkout. I understand wanting dishes clean, but having to put away seems like something cleaning staff should do. Perfect location close to Pensacola, Orange Beach and Gulf Shores. Beach was absolutely gorgeous and we enjoyed the company of the resident great blue heron.

West of Eden east side was so comfortable for our large family gathering at the beach (11 people and still space left). There were plenty of beds and bathrooms, there was plenty of parking for 4 cars, and the beach was quiet and uncrowded since there were only houses around. The only challenge we had was that the kitchen was a little small for the number of people we had cooking (1 or 2 fit fine but not the 5 or 6 we had). However, having the huge table nearby helped us to have enough space to prepare all of the food. If we are able rent here again, we’ll just know to prepare a little more ahead of time. Highly recommend this beautiful and peaceful house!

This place is perfect for our family of 16. There is plenty of room to spare in this luxury accommodation. We have stayed here for several years in a row. My only complaint is the rapid increasing cost. If we stay next year in 2022 there will be about a 50% increase over this year. I normally book for next year before I leave, but I am going to look around first. So if you can afford it, you will not be disappointed. It is a 5 star property.

Great house for large groups

Great beach house with even better location. Lots of space, well decorated, kitchen had everything we needed utensil/appliance wise. Right on the beach which was a nice quiet, private area. Only issues we ran into were the pool not working (heating, filtering) the last 2 days of our stay despite attempts from the property manager to help (communication was very easy and they sent the pool company out to fix it) and one of the refrigerators does not cool well. Would recommend and rent again.
