Nestled in Alto, this charming cabin for $298 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. HOT TUB, COMMON AREAS, AND POOL TABLE AREAS ALL CLOSED DUE TO COVID-19. Ski House is a comfortable 3 bedroom Cabin perfect for a large family or 3 couples. With 2 queen bedrooms, a king bedroom and a full-sized sleeper sofa, you have room for 8. 2 bathrooms in this unit will make shower time easy. There is a full kitchen, dining room table and a warm living room with a beautiful, unique, local-stone fireplace and flat-screen TV. The glass patio door entrance to the suite faces due West with wonderful views of the mountains. Just out your door is the courtyard, where you'll find gas grills, a horseshoe pit and the community hot tub, with lots of seating for hanging outdoors with family and friends. Across the driveway is the Main Lodge, where you'll find the pool table and a very comfortable living area with beautiful flagstone fireplace. You'll see deer roaming the property and don't be surprised to see the VIPs (Very Important Ponies - the Free-Roaming Horses of Alto) wandering through, as well as the occasional fox, elk, jackrabbits and cottontail rabbits. Pet Deposit $250 - refundable if no damage/mess. Pet fee of $50/pet will be collected from the Pet Deposit. If damage/mess is caused by pets, your credit card will be charged for the difference. The check-in process started with us being given the wrong code to get into the property. The property management did answer on the first call and we were given the correct code pretty quickly. When we entered the rental and began checking things out, one of the toilets was leaking so we had to shut the water off, and one of the bedrooms had stains on the sheets and a large blood spot on the blanket. We again called the property management company who advised that maintenance and housekeeping wouldn't be out until the next day. Although there were extra sheets provided, these also had stains so our child had to sleep on a blanket we had brought with us from home. Maintenance did come early the next day to fix the toilet issue, but housekeeping didn't arrive until the end of the day. We had to call the property management company again and leave a message regarding the sheets and blanket. Even though it was during business hours no one called us back. Also, the rental smelled like someone had used the fireplace and didn't open the flue. When we tried to turn on the humidifier provided to help with the air, the smell of smoke increased tremendously and we weren't able to use it at all. We ended up leaving a day early because we just weren't comfortable in the house. Location to the mountain were ideal for skiing and restaurants, which is the only reason I gave this one 2 stars.

They never sent the access code for the door of the accommodation, so I couldn't enter and they still charged me and they haven't refunded my money.!!

The cabin was dirty, and there was a rat behind one of the bed in a trap. Try calling the office multiple times and no one answered no matter what time I called.
