Welcome to this immaculately decorated 2300 sq. ft. custom-built log cabin located inside the private gated community of Riverbend - Lake Lure, NC. Experience the luxury and relaxation in this amazing home and enjoy the soaring two-story great room and 21' floor-to-ceiling stone gas fireplace. Upstairs is additional living space in a large cozy loft with expansive views & a 2nd stone fireplace! The cabin comfortably sleeps 8. The master bedroom is on the main floor with a huge walk-in closet, custom tile bath, W/D closet & opens to an outer deck with a large, private screened porch. The upstairs features 2 guest bedrooms, a sleeping loft with a pull-out couch, and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. The excellent open great room overlooks the Broad River view and includes the upscale kitchen. Outside the home, picture being in the woods and hearing the sounds of nature, all while having the Broad River right in your backyard! Sit on one of our beautiful wrap-around decks, or if you prefer the shade, lounge in one of two screened-in porches. Looking for more activity, go swimming in your own swimming hole, sit and watch your family play in the sand, go fishing, and or tubing, all right from your back door! Cross the river, and you have a little private island where you can watch the rapids go by! At night, sit by the firepit as you create lasting memories while being tucked away in this little gem in the woods. There are even more adventures to experience! Our community has a private beach perfect for swimming, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, picnicking, grilling, etc. If you want a bigger beach with water features, water slides, and restaurants, Lake Lure Beach is just 10 minutes from us! Our area boasts four beautiful golf courses, all within driving distance! Lastly, we are a wonderful gated community, so your safety is ensured during your stay! We welcome you to your amazing vacation! If you search for Riverbend at Lake Lure on YouTube, there are a few great videos! This home also offers many movies to choose from, WiFi (although only sometimes consistent as we are a cabin in the woods). DirectTV, and a closet filled with board games, comic books, kid's books, and books for adults. The property has a Weber gas grill. We are also about 15 minutes from Chimney Rock, a great little town with lots of fun shopping, restaurants, and a spa. Want a little more action? Hendersonville and Asheville are an easy 45-minute. drive. We have an Ingles grocery store just minutes from the house, so no need to stress about bringing all your food, etc. This is truly the perfect place to get away and enjoy some quality time with family and friends! Every detail has been considered, so all you have to do is show up, relax, and start making those lifelong memories!

We have now come to this beautiful secluded home for 2 years in a row at Thanksgiving! My grand kids are 7 & 8 and loved the backyard, the creek and Chimney Rock! The adults enjoyed the quiet and relaxing environment! So clean and well kept up!

We had a perfect stay at this absolutely gorgeous river cabin. Appointed beautifully, we had everything we needed to rest, relax, and have some fun. Property is within a 15 minute drive of everything we wanted to do… Chimney, rock, pontoon, boating, shopping, and hiking. Due to its location, the cabin is very quiet and peaceful. Our favorite activity was bouldering and the creek and tubing right from the backyard when the dam released on the water level rose. So much fun! Communication with the owner was fantastic and super responsive. We will be back!

Our family goes to the beach every year and were looking to go somewhere different. This cabin and town exceeded our expectations! Beautifully decorated cabin with all the amenities you would need. We enjoyed eating meals on the patio while listening to the river and wildlife everyday. We also loved tubing the river and spending time at the neighborhood lake. Lake Lure is gorgeous! Scoop Ice Cream, La Strada, and Lake House Restaurant were our favorite places to eat. Chimney Rock and Little Bradley Falls are amazing hikes for all ages. Beautiful views and waterfalls!
Do not hesitate booking this cabin. There is really something for everyone! Our kids are 5 and 12 and enjoyed tubing the river daily right out the back door. The water levels fluctuate throughout the day, so it is important to be careful when the water level is higher. Little ones can enjoy the sandy beach area at the neighborhood lake. Our 5 year old loved building sand castles.
Hope is wonderful and was always available to answer any questions. This was definitely our favorite family vacation and we hope to come back again!

This was the best rental I have made thru VRBO. The cabin is spacious and beautifully decorated. It has all the amenities you would need. Sitting by the water, listening to the birds is very relaxing.Hope as the hostess is amazing. She was in contact throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed! I can't wait to return sometime in the future!

Fantastic setting and property for family gathering, from grandparents to infants. Great comfortable living space inside and multiple porches outside overlooking the river. Perfect for letting kids play outside along the river and nice community area by the small lake for further nature hikes. Couldn't ask for anything better for a wonderful Thanksgiving getaway.

Return Summer trip
We liked it so much last summer we had to come back. The huge back yard is a great place for the kids to play wiffle ball before tubing down the river right from the bank. Amazing trip!
We stayed here in December of 2021. This cabin is beautiful! It was very spacious for my husband and I, our 2 children, and my parents. Hope was very nice and was easy to communicate with when we had any questions. Chimney Rock is a cute little town nearby where we hiked at Chimney Rock State Park and took the kids gem mining (which was a big hit)! We went to the Biltmore one day which was about a 45 minute drive, not bad at all. The cabin is so relaxing and peaceful you don't even have to go anywhere if you don't want to! I would love to come back in the summer when you can tube down the river right outside the back of the house. All in all, I loved our family vacation here and would definitely stay at this cabin again! You can tell the owners really take pride in their property. Thank you for sharing this special place with us!

This property was amazing, it was very clean, and the house was prefect. The kids loved the river and climbing all over the rocks. We will be back!!!

Blissful retreat
We spent the weekend with our two older teens and their significant others, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The house is set up for lounging -- so many different places for hanging out, indoor and outdoor. We tubed down the river, explored the swimming holes, lazed in the hammocks, went to the nearby lake and Lake Lure, kayaked and paddle boarded ... it was the best getaway we've had in a long time. Thanks for giving us such a beautiful retreat for reconnecting as a family!

A cabin you won't want to leave.
Our family of 5 stayed in this cabin in the woods for 6 days and none of us wanted to leave. It's the perfect setting on a dead-end road on the bank of a small river that offers fishing and swimming right in your backyard. My son caught fish and my girls loved climbing on the rocks and wading in the water. The three hammocks are such a cool feature, we all spent time laying in them and listening to the water flow over the rocks.
The house is very well stocked from cooking supplies to comfortable furniture. There are plenty of spaces to relax including two screened in porches, a deck with a nice grill, and multiple spots inside to spread out and watch movies or TV. We've stayed in dozens of rentals over the years and this one is at the top of the list of places we'd definitely stay again. The owner was very helpful and we had no issues the entire time we were there.
The private lake and kayaks we're a nice bonus that you won't find at almost any other vacation rental.
The only reason I gave it 5 stars, is because I couldn't give it 6. Book now, you won't regret it.

Awesome trip!
The property was amazing! The house was very clean, the backyard was a kids dream with a creek and rocks to climb on with ample space! It was a little cold to kayak but the community had a lot of ammeneties in the warmer weather. Check in was easy, location was great & Lake Lure and Chimney Rock was an awesome place to explore!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The place looked exactly like the online photos. Directions within the community were quite accurate. Arrived at night which is tricky since it is quite dark and street signs are small

this home is literally perfect - perfect size, perfect location. the home was spotless and had everything we needed. Communication with owner was easy. We truly did not want to leave and have already started looking at the calendar to book again next year. :)

While visiting Lake Lure, we tubed the Green River in Saluda, went horseback riding in the river with Riverside Stables, rafted the Nantahala up in Bryson City, and zip lined with Canopy right down the road. This trip was amazing- we spent so much time in the backyard exploring the river. The cabin is immaculate and the yard could not be any more perfect for small kids to tromp around with rain boots. We fished and played and tubed and caught fireflies and roasted s’mores:). Absolutely the best family vacation!
